I absolutely love this video. Iâm in the struggle of getting it together. With a job that doesnât cover all of my bills I am in the midst of finding better employment. I sometimes feel like giving up especially when I begin to stuff my envelopes and this game called LIFE comes and pull the rug from under me and I end up having to empty Everything out of my envelopes just to cover my bills. Thanks for this informative video. Iâm determined to get my budget and savings under control sooner or later. Iâm no quitter but believe me The Struggle is Real

That was me! I would stuff my envelopes and then find myself taking it right back out for necessities. Iâm still trying to effectively figure out the envelopes
I just came upon this video today. The struggle is real. I have all these credit card bills to pay. I have 2 jobs. But it hit me hard when my brand new car was smashed in to 3 days ago. And without a car is hard for me to get to work.

Great video! I started budgeting very late in life, I still struggle, but none of my bills are behind, everything is paid either on time or weeks early. Now I am trying to save for when I retire. My biggest hurdle is my consumer debt. I am trying to become debt free, but when you can only make minimum payments its hard getting them paid off. Now what I am doing is small savings challenges and once I complete that challenge I roll that money over on to a debt. Right now to make the biggest impact on my debt free journey is paying off my Jeep, which I will be doing in October!!! Then I will start with my credit cards. Baby steps!!
I constantly think about retirement even though im only 31 but time is creeping up
I'm about 4 months into my budget journey and I'm so glad I started. I've gone over budget a couple of times but I was able to pull from low priority sinking funds to make up for it. I'm getting more disciplined and my credit score is slowly creeping toward 700. I'm really happy about my progress.

I have tried to budget but it was all so overwhelming and when I would watch videos nobody would break things down the way you did. Iâve found this so helpful and I honestly canât wait to start. The real eye opener was right now that Christmas is in a few days and I wasnât able to buy anything for my kids because I had a stacked up water bill, negative balance bank fees, and I felt like I was drowning. I really enjoyed this one. I liked how you said the first few months starting out to not worry about sinking fund's. I've only just started and this last pay was hard because i couldn't add to any of them. I felt like a failure and that made me feel better and to just keep trucking along and keep my head up high đ

I have just started this journey and put down my income for May and my expenses for May. I was shocked to see that I have over $1200 left over in May and I didnât need to see were it all went I already know. Gas, food and the big big big one Gaming. Yes I said it I wrote it down I am so ashamed to admit this. Thank you for letting me know itâs ok to make that honest discovery of what you really spend. đąđźđ
You truly have the heart of a teacher. I never understood cash stuffing until I found you. Iâm several months in using fake money as placeholder cash and itâs given me so much peace of mind.
I was going to say it took me 3 months to full get the hang of it and stick to my budget. Once I did. I realized I wasnât budgeting right in my cash envelopes. I realized I could over budget it and if I have left over I can put that in my sinking funds. This was a great video!
I got myself a car 2 year and 2 months ago and I was able to put all my extra money into paying that off. Iâm glade to say that as of Thursday I no longer have a car payment

That was exactly me, swiping and not fully tracking. Robbing from one to pay another. Putting off one bill to pay another. And these things I already in place. Also, going out to eat every Friday. We stopped doing that and saving a ton. We still eat out a little but not as often.
This was such an enlightening video. You never cease to cheer me up when I feel like Iâm falling behind.

The road feels tough especially when you have to cut back on a certain âlifestyleâ but itâs worth it , knowing that there will be a day where I donât have to worry if my paycheck will be able to cover everything

Thank you! I am so glad information like this is available now. Luckily I caught on my bills but there are so many that arenât. I learned by trial and error. Adulting by the âBaptism by fireâ method was rough and took me a long time to figure out with no resources or guidance. đ Wow, you are such a good financial teacher. I'm so glad you had that bonding experience with your mom to start out though. Yes like you said it brought back memories when I mentioned to you about mine with me and my mom it was upset where I was helping her. Your mom helped you. But all in all thank God my mom got help and you did too. Just got to be there for each other mothers and their children. This video turned out better than I thought it would and I know it will help others to understand better. When they understand then that will help them to get a boost and do what they need to do to financially be healthier. Praying for all those that do need the help without having to eventually file bankruptcy or such if it gets that bad. I know it's time for a week 4 budgeting so see you soon in the next video. I had started on using cash envelopes but then raided them to get my nails done which I forgot to budget for đ But I'm getting back on track and still trying! I'm also cleaning out my closet to sell things on Poshmark to make some extra money to help get ahead. đ
