You drive better than most of the cars with higher HP! Excellent!
If I can drive half as well on track as this in my AP1 I’d be happy!
haha you got it! Seat time is where it's at
Amazing driving. Have an E46 M3 and it pulls and handles well. But nothing compares to the precision, rawness and driving experience of an S2000 AP1. Well Maybe the $250k Porsche
Thanks! It's a great car for sure
Imagine if the s2000 had the same power as the porsches
I think it would be enough if the S had 300 - 320ps
There’s no way this is a stock engine. The Porsches aren’t pulling away by that much on the straights
Damn dude, you know how to drive! I like how you got angry at your missed shift and you keep challenging yourself. Good on you, keep it up. You have a gift.
haha thanks man, learning more every time i'm out there.
Holy shit this man doesnt drive, he pilots
Great driving balls out completely 👍👍. Legendary car
Your driving is excellent. The thing that stands out to me most is your precision in your trailing off of or onto the throttle or brake as you add or take away steering lock. You know exactly how much grip the chassis has and you're using all of it.
Thank you man🙏 Still trying to improve
Yeah great job keeping it settled in that company
watching you catch that porsche in the first 90s so fkn satisfying, good drive
very nice cool vid and great driving!
Music to my ears makes me miss my AP1, nice shifting and handling on your end amazing driving skills
Great Video when I used to Track mine I found short shifting really made a difference in these cars keeping there momentum.
God damn, this makes me want to buy another S2000. I'm hyped now to get in my car :)
Do it!
Damn nice bit a driving there! Awesome.
woww man, this has me grinnin and on the edge at all times, need to supercharger mine to stay near them porsches, they are everywhere on trackevents for obvious reasons, but damn really enjoyed this footage, liked and subbed
red gloves, s2k, fast drving. For a good 10 seconds I thought this was Jacky Ding's old video.
That orange porsche take over at 2:03 minute mark 👌
That’s some great driving 👍🏽
Thanks!
That is how you do it man!
This was sick!
The s2k is really a machine that must be moved like this! Crazy crazy
Awesome video
Nice driving. How do you like the Nankangs compared to A052's in terms of wear and grip?
go little Honda
AMAZING DRIVING SIR
Thanks man!
What a driver 🥶
Great driving.
Thanks!
Beast. And it's done on a AP1!! nice.
Thanks!
I was asking myself how is it comes that your S2K is not oversteering at the most of the time... I've seen your Spoiler on it and now i know why 😁
I ran from many PDK's. Good job son.You don't need much power 💪 👏
Over-enflated ego Porsche pricks. Porsche was the first word I read but doctors and lawyers ruined the brand in America 🇺🇸 😒
Nice job!
Thanks bro! Hope to see you at Watkins Glen!
u got my sub glad i found this
Thanks! more to come
Bro how do you get this good..
mind me asking where is your go pro mounted? Good view
It is mounted on the top of my helmet and overhangs in front of my visor, just above eye level. Can't open my visor up very far but it does make for a pretty nice camera angle.
How much modification to you have on this car? Great driving, really great. I have a fully stock 06.... not one single mod, with 40,000 miles on it and i drive it like i stole at every drive.
Thanks man, the engine is stock with exhaust, it just has different suspension with a wing and splitter
I dont understand your upshifts. Like you let off the clutch too late? No delay valve in an ap1... please explain what you do!
LoL not doing anything differently. It has a bit of rev hang when shifting and dumping the clutch very quickly. I think it's also exaggerated a bit by the fact that the low hp and torque causes it to fall on its face every shift. The clutch feels rock solid when shifting. The sound you're hearing isn't noticeable when the shifts are slowed down a tad.
Imagine how good an S2000 would be with a PDK.
Not saying I want it, but on track it would fly!
Theres allready a couple of S2000 with a bmw 7 speed dsg gearbox
No way
what spring rates are you using? did you revalve your suspension?
They are 14k front, 12k rear with stock valving. They actually work well, not over sprung and bouncy which I was a bit worried of.
what app are you using to track your laptimes ?
I've used Harry's lap timer and Hotlap on my phone. I now have an AIM Solo 2
If your car had a 4.4 or a 4.55 final drive it would be almost as faster as that orange porsche
It seems like all your S2000 is good at is the corners. Almost everything pulls you on the straights. Not saying that is a bad thing. As a matter of fact you’ve got the hard part covered. Now all you need to do is add some power and maintain your skills at that power level and you’re all set.
Yeah it's a stock engine making probably 200whp. It could use more juice for sure
Excellent driving but you need a bit more power to compete with them
Is it just me or
Is there a lot
Of body roll
this is why its called the poor mans porsche
