I debated the same 2 colorways and got the volt color as well. They'll be here in a few days and hopefully your review rings true
the colourway is a real nice muted tone, so i really lie this pair of shoes in your fits. muted greens and browns fit with almost everything, its more on the neutral side. thanks for keeping these videos coming.

How have these held up? Read a bit that the React foam isn't very durable as an outsole.
I have had no issues with mine! However I do not wear mine consistently!
What’s your thoughts on the honeycombs? Thinking of getting them but why do you think they don’t go with old school? Does that mean like denim?
those are a very cool edition to the reacts! I think I was too harsh with my judgement of "oh this is a futuristic shoe, ThErEfOrE nO dEnIm". The colorway I got, personally I wouldn't wear with plain denim. but i've seen some sick fits with react both with plain and distressed denim.

Where did you get the first pair of pants? Also, where would you recommend looking if i wanted to get into techwear?
are you more interested into the techwear looks? or do you want to have more information about certain functionalities before buying specifically to your needs? depending on where you want to go in the spectrum, there are different sources to go to.
The first pair was 511 tactical apex pants! They have decent functionality and are very plain. DWR coating, multiple useful pockets, tough durability etc.
I agree with @sewmuchblack that there are different approaches to techwear items. But my personal favorites would be 5.11 tactical pants (you might have to taper them)

@@tundrxdemon if you are more interested in the looks then searching #techwear on instagram and looking on amazon for cargo pants with straps and simple oversized tshirts would fit the bill for the most generic and not really functional techwear look. tapering ants that are boot cut and adding additional straps and pockets may be of interest to you.
I personally would suggest you search for something that has an added functionality like water resistance (even if its a spray on coating on the fabric that you apply yourself) or ackability or other things ... that is what really makes it techwear in my opinion. but of course, to each their own. on the techwear discord and the techwear subreddit you wont find too much helo for just the loks, the people there are more concerned with the functionality of pieces (apart from shoes, where the opinions differ a lot).
