- This weekend we adventured ourselves in one of the longest stretches of sand in Portugal! This trail is known to be tricky in summer time due to the soft sands and the inclines, and not every 4WD has been able to conquer it with ease. The DUSTER performed A+ and we had a great time! What an amazing location, I definitely want to drive there in the future on an overlanding trip. You are 100% right what you say about running a CZcams channel, I also didn’t realise how much work was involved, it’s like a full time job but I love it. Its the dream to do this full time, I hope we all get to live that dream some day 🙏
You should definitely come! Portugal is a great country to overland and even though these spots seem to be disappearing due to construction or private property there is still many places to explore! Cheers

Obrigado pelo feedback! Impossível não é apenas ter atenção que o pneu de origem tem um perfil muito baixo o que não permite vazar a pressão para as pressões indicadas sem correr o risco de a jante estar em contacto praticamente com o solo. Há muitas zonas com raizes e troncos caídos que pode ser um problema. A falta de distancia ao solo também pode ser limitadora em zonas onde as máquinas maiores tenham deixado regos mais profundos na areia... Aconselho ir e experimentar mas com outra viatura de backup! Abraço

Up north it's strictly forbidden
We cant really drive on the actual beach but there are some trails behind the dunes which are ok
Same as in Portugal, is even strictly forbidden to drive on Beaches, Primary and Secundary dunes like shown in the video.
Those track marks, near the shore is (almost) everytime a non conformity with the local laws.

Nice Video.. 1:38 Is it normal for that red warning light to illuminate when the 4WD is engaged? Because I have the same experience.
The light doesnt turn on because of the 4WD but rather because of very low tire pressure. If you have 1 flat it will show you the yellow tire pressure sign. When its low in every wheel it shows the red light. Totally normal 👍🏽

I have duster 4*4 model 2014 diesel and I have big problem with the sand .
I put on my car suspension 6 cm and differential lock torsen behind because I put the car with my boat on the sand .
I haven’t tried yet but if it doesn’t work I will sell my car .
What is your opinion for the duster and the sand ?
Do you have on your duster differential lock torsen ?
What tires you put on your duster ?

Suspension lift does nothing for you unless you change the tire size. Also for any sort of beach driving you need presure to be 0.6 - 1 bar tops (depending on tire rigidity), otherwise the engine is not powerful enough to move through the sand. A boat trailer is very very heavy, especially on the sand, for any 4wd! No surprise the duster left you stuck. We have 225/75 r16 tires and deflate them to 0.6 bar on the sand. So far it has never failed us and has even performed better than other more powerful 4x4's as you will see in an upcoming video. Cheers

As you can see from all the videos the car drives great both both on and off road with these tires. I have no experience with 215/70 or 215/75 but if you have the suspension lift I would advise you to go for the 215/75 any day! The higher sidewall of the tire will allow you to lower the tire pressures further and thus giving you more footprint on the sand. It really is night and day difference, you will be amazed

@@user-sy3od1sl2l performance in sand is similar! In mud the Yokohamas are way better and on road the all terrains are better.. it’s a matter of figuring out how much off-roading you will actually do
Hi, i have a question, does your car have any fuel injector problem.

@@xpd44.outfitters its a blessing my car duster 110 ps awd twice changed the injector and pump, i spend a lot of money. Sir do you have any solution to prevent damaging the injector?. Did engine remaping is a solution what is your idea.
none of us is an actual mechanic so we can't really give you any solid advice, especially as we have never encountered any sort of mechanical issue with the duster. We are thinking of a remap for performance gains only, the thing is since we've never had any problems with the car kinda worried it will mess it up..
Im here for duster. Watching how someone else eats dont give me any entertainment.
