My favorite Stevie Nicks solo song is one that few people have ever heard. It’s called “Enchanted”. So go get a big shovel and dig way down the rabbit hole for that one. You’ll be glad you did.

Speaking further in her video commentary, Nicks spoke about the "white-winged dove" and what this song means to her: "It became a song about violent death, which was very scary to me because at that point no one in my family had died. To me, the white-winged dove was for John Lennon the dove of peace, and for my uncle it was the white-winged dove who lives in the saguaro cactus - that's how I found out about the white-winged dove, and it does make a sound like whooo, whooo, whooo. I read that somewhere in Phoenix and thought I would use that in this song. The dove became exciting and sad and tragic and incredibly dramatic. Every time I sing this song I have that ability to go back to that two-month period where it all came down. I've never changed it, and I can't imagine ending my show with any other song. It's such a strong, private moment that I share in this song."

Stevie is one of the best ever. I saw her twice in Fleetwood Mac. My favorite was in 1978 at Cleveland Stadium. Her voice was so powerful & clear. When they did Rhiannon nobody was in their seat. One of my most thrilling experiences at a concert. In this video I also love Waddy Wachtel on guitar. He's is way underestimated.

1981 - I was in jr High. I had this album - her first solo called Bella Donna - and I loved every song on it. Around this time I was doing vocal competitions and was given a voice teacher who asked who my favorite singers were. Man did I get in trouble for saying Stevie Nicks. I mean she is rough on her voice but there's more than technique to a singer. Stevie Nicks is timeless - every generation will probably fall under her spell. Great reaction as always - just don't let the wife know you're crushing a little on Ms. Nicks. LOL!!!!

She used to keep the roses she got after performances (there were always a lot) & make potpourri pouches or sachets out of them. The stuffed animals she'd mostly give to childrens' charities. I think it's at the Red Rocks video she joked to the crowd "you have no idea how many stuffed animals live at my house".
The Red Rocks video also has her dealing with a reluctant dove.

Stevie Nicks is the first female double Inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Fleetwood Mac and her solo career... This song is kind of a double hit, because Destiny's Child used parts of it in their hit "Bootylicious". Stevie Nicks is even in their Official Music Video.
