I kinda wished y'all used facial expressions more, because ASL is a highly expressive language. Also it would be nice if they turned a little bit so we could see what they were signing
As a Deaf Person myself it’s an automatic reaction to look for facial expressions. I understand that are some people who Deaf & Hearing find it difficult to communicate with facial expression.
It is very true. When I learnt ASL back in the '80's (for my work), my teachers allways said: you have to use your facial expresions with your signing. Other than that, I thaught the girls signed good. I was a special ed teatcher, and I worked with deaf-mute kids. Also physically handicapped, mentally retarded, blind, autistic kids...
They asked how each other was, their names, why they learned asl, if they like asl, where they live, if they are deaf or hearing, where they learned asl, if they have children or are married and how old the children were, what they like to do, what color they like (girl on left said purple) then they said goodbye.
Hey, i saw she said " i 🤟 asl" and im not sure if this is wrong but i definitely didn't learn it that way, im pretty sure 🤟 is only to tell someone you love them but a different sign is used when saying you love something.
Just a tip- I would advise you to use way more facial expressions, your signing is accurate but very dull and not very communicative. Otherwise a very good job!

They are both hearing....and you're right. It's a boring monotone conversation.

It does mean love but the sign you would use in that situation is where you put your hand in a fist and then put the back of your hand to your lips.
It actually means I Love You
They were asking how they were then they were telling each other their names then asking if they know how to sign I think idk I’m self thought
