This video was mostly created to poke fun at relic rng in HSR and how sometimes you can get insanely lucky.
I've been playing since day 1 and I've never had relics upgrade so well back to back (and this one time was on an alt).
We all hate relic RNG in this game, and I don't personally believe there is a "strat" that increases your odds. My only advice for relic upgrading, apart from lowering your expectations in general, is to go with the mentality that if you believe your relics currently are "all shit" then it will be much easier to improve from "shit" to "better than shit" vs the people who have better relics, and are trying to upgrade from "average" to "above average".

Yeah, this is all just actually RNG and not really a "trick or cheat". Anyone who studied probability in school or even a bit common sense would know that 5 is a pretty small number and combinations like 44222 or 11133 is uncommon but will always come to happen because of the sheer amount of relics. Betting on 4 numbers to repeat consecutively is just coping with gambling addiction.
You have to equip the pieces on your supports/healers first

@@Conqueror-of-Demons not really god tier since it only has 6 times on usable sub stat. u need 7~8 usable sub stat to call it god tier on a head and hand piece since they are easy piece. But yea it indeed good enough for u to stop farming.

All rolls into atk% on that set is actually still a god roll considering it is meant for DOT characters.

It works, like, 80%? When you reach 4-5 upgrade is when it gets a little wonky, due to the higher probability, and the percentage rates going from 1:3:1:1 to around 2:2:2:2, meaning the chancing of getting a specific rolls is low at Best.
TBH there IS substat manipulation. Only has 80% success rate tho, but when done right, you can snipe a substat roll, just like I did with one of my relics on Acheron

The whole relic manipulation thing shows why more people should learn how statistics works.
4:30 That's perfect for a DoT character, as long as you can get EFR, speed (and break) elsewhere.
I will say that I have had a few relics this last week that rolled crit dmg every time and it is starting to become eerie.
They need to add more ways of manipulating stats to give players more leeway in getting the relics they want imo. As it is you can spend over a year trying to get one above average relic, which is not reasonable imo.
What I'd like to see them do is give self-modeling resins more use. Once per relic (to avoid abuse) you can use a resin to swap a substat or main stat to one of your choosing. Or swap a main stat with a substat (so if I have Crit DMG as the main stat and Crit Rate as a substat on a body piece I can swap Crit DMG and Crit Rate so Crit Rate becomes the mainstat and Crit DMG the substat). Sometimes all some people are missing is one (1) main stat or substat to get the relic they want.
Self-modeling resins are sparse so it's not like people would be able to do this very often. That and this method wouldn't eliminate RNG either since substat leveling RNG would still be there, so even if you were to use a resin to do what I suggested you're not guaranteed to level the substat you want. It would just give players more breathing room and some actual hope in getting a good relic.
Of course, Hoyo will never do this but it's nice to dream.

My one rule of relic RNG is never full send to +15!! I've done it so many times and it has NEVER yielded a good relic, whereas one level at a time has yielded some crazy good pieces. Seems like that's not always the case tho, those were some unbelievable full send rolls 😂 even the full ATK% one is usable on DoT characters, maybe slight copium but still.

I try to upgrade my DHIL for a long time. The entire last week I haven't gotten a single piece with double crit lol except 1. And that one I got perfectly dodged every single roll into NOT crit. It's absurd.

It's a good 2pc set for a lot of DPS characters when you don't have a good 4pc
12% ATK 2PC Prisoner with CV rolls are amazing for any Crit DPS.
Beats out most 4PC sets with bad/average CV rolls. So it's a good slap and play relic set while you're stuck in the relic mines.

Is that a 80 crit rate, 180 crit dmg imbibitor lunae? Kinda makes me dissapointed of my Dan hang though, especially that imbibitor lunae lightcone doesn't increase any crits so those are raw traces and substats
