i have a 2009 es automatic. im gonna try this. you can buy the parts at mitsubishi parts (dot) com. i just looked for 09 mitsubishi lancer GTS for the paddel shifters cause you cant find them for the ES.
Great video! I´m trying to do it on my Lancer. But I will have the paddles in a few months. I´m not sure of the connector wire, becouse I saw one in there, a blue one, but I think it is for the bluetooth (my model doesn´t have the hands free buttons. If you don´t mine I´ll ask you again any doubt.

You don't need to take off the steering wheel I sawed off the top bar with a hack saw left the left and right holes(weight reduction lol) and slid it under behind the steering wheel and boom worked perfectly screwed everything in snapped the plug in and it worked just fine. *2015 lancer es*

i have the 2016 lancer but it has no + - semi transmission :( can I still install the shifters? do i have to change the transmission inorder for the paddles to shift? The guy in the video has the same exact gearbox as I do

where did you get those paddle shifters? theyre the GTS lancer shifters, right?

no u dont need the shifter. when u press on the shifter, it activates manual mode

he showed the wrong plug. it’s one with a yellow and blue wire coming off of it
