- This 500hp, methanol slurping, turbo-charged Suzuki Hayabusa is powered by a Haltech Elite ECU and runs mid 7 second passes without too much effort.
In this video we explain how the Elite ECU controls various aspects of the bike's engine and powertrain like assisting the air-shifted, sequential gearbox, race timer controlling ignition timing, intake bleed and boost pressure. Elite also provides the anti lag and launch control, adjusting fuel, ignition and rev limiter and helping the bike launch and accelerate down the track in the fastest possible way.

Awesome work Scott, i am in processing to install haltech ps1000 on hayabusa engine ( first time using bike engine) my experience in cars engines working at home as an enthusiast, so my inquiry is how to use timing light in order to make ignition timing lock and proceed with angle and offset? Thanks in advance
Scary shit
That time machine tho!
is there any possibility to get launch controll to my 1990 yamaha xj 600 51J ?
hi
please
how to install (wiring) anti-lag and lunch control
Very interesting. Haltech would you suggest this Elite ECU for a short chassis K4 Busa?
Fabricio Aquila de Jesus Yes, Elite would be our choice.
if my Dyna 4000 SP gives up do recon yours is same or better?
How much boost is it making on the 2-step??? Sounds quite low..
Rally anti lag video please
E carborada
Bixiga de combustivel/bomba

Thanks guys, love these tech talk videos. But why does my computer always load them off the floppy drive??
turbochargedbrick Floppy what now?
haltech do you guys offer anything for vrods with forced induction?
At the moment no we do not have something that can run the VROD engine without some modifications required. It would need a cam position sensor to be added before a Haltech ECU could be used.
if i could name that thing ide call it, oh fuck
I know this is a old video but how the heck do you set base timing on an engine when you can't use a timing light eg a motorcycle engine
Or do you just crank it with the stator cover off ??
Does it have a little bung in the side cover where the flywheel sits to allow you to check for tdc? All 4 stroke dirtbike have them, you could remove that and shine your timing light in there
@@wardj1922 lol cheers figured it out ages ago :)
i have a 2003 busa do you guys have any bade maps?
+Jason Powell Shoot us an email on support@haltech.com
Looks like Doc Brown is here somewere
Were you guys wiring in a flux compensator to the Delorean in the background? :D
you mean a flux capacitor?
+haltechecu Yeah I do, sorry, here in Germany they call it "compensator" in the movies :-)
could this busa be a daily?
Nope
what's up with the time machine
Nathan is still loving his DeLorean Time Machine!
