Thank you for this tip! Here's another tip for anyone still struggling. When I started stamping, I couldn't pick up an image to save my life! Blue film was off, I was sure I was woking very fast, I tried different scraping directions, rolling vs straight up and down techniques with the stamper, and tried all different amounts of pressure. Nothing worked! As a last resort, I tried priming my plates! I figured the blue film could be leaving a residue. I used dish soap and a nylon bristled scrub brush and went over the plates for a few seconds each, then rinsed and dried them very well. Shockingly, I could pick up an image the first time and every time after that! Now it's the first thing I do with all my plates. I've never had any damage or scratching from the nylon brush. You only have to do it once if you're struggling to pick up an image. Just clean the polish off with acetone after that. Hope this helps someone else!

Hey.. You need to preferably buy stamping polishes.. A very few regular polishes especially the ones with a thick consistency may work.. But it's always better to get stamping polishes
Please Do NOT EVER use acetone on your clear silicone stamper heads! It begins a degradation process and causes microscopic pits in the surface. With use these will grow over time and your stamper head will cloud up and become much more prone to ripping or splitting. There is a difference between the cheap silicone stampers and the more costly ones and for around $5-10 USD you can get a set of 2 high quality replacement heads that you will never have to mess with.
@Frivolous.Fingers N... You are absolutely 100% right about not using acetone on the stamper. Not knowing and being brand new to the nail art world, I did use acetone and now mine is cloudy and has 2 splits in it. You cannot be more correct about this! Thank you for letting people know. Your absolutely right... I've added in the disclaimer as well as mentioned it in the video...but if you're spending 1-2$ and your stamper isn't working you can definitely try this trick and usually it works once you dip it in the warm water with the dish washing liquid but if it doesn't work even after that you can just add a little bit of acetone for the first time...I've been using the stamper on which I used this entire process for a year now!

Be very careful with putting acetone on your clear jelly stamper because it can make them foggy and you can't see through your stamper correctly

You can try this on your stamper only if it does not work. You do not have to do it it if it works.
My Problem is that my newly bought stamperhead is NOT taking on ANY polish from the stamperplates! So what do I do then?

This totally did not work for me what worked for me is to use a very fine nail file and a scrape it across works like a charm.
Acitone ruined mine it's all foggy now and you can't see through it 😭

We can use normal nail polish r we should use stamping polish
You need to use a stamping polish. Normal polishes are usually thinner and some may work but it's hard to find one.

Hey! Do all the steps prior to the acetone first.. If it still doesn't work then dab a little bit of acetone (nail polish remover) and try!
