Thank you for the tips! Here's another tip for anyone still struggling. When I started stamping, I couldn't pick up an image to save my life! Blue film was off, I was sure I was woking very fast, I tried different scraping directions, rolling vs straight up and down techniques with the stamper, and tried all different amounts of pressure. Nothing worked! As a last resort, I tried priming my plates! I figured the blue film could be leaving a residue. I used dish soap and a nylon bristled scrub brush and went over the plates for a few seconds each, then rinsed and dried them very well. Shockingly, I could pick up an image the first time and every time after that! Now it's the first thing I do with all my plates. I've never had any damage or scratching from the nylon brush. You only have to do it once if you're struggling to pick up an image. Just clean the polish off the plate with acetone after that. Hope this helps someone else!
That's a great tip! Never done that but when nothing works seems like a very good idea. Thanks for sharing and watching 💕😊
I'm struggling too !
It seems so easy but still I cannot do it ..
I buffed the surface , used special polish , try to work fast , nothing 😣
I’ve tried that too and it still didn’t work???
What's the issue you're having? Have you tried with different brands of plates/stamper and see if the issue persists?
Another issue is the jelly stamper may have oily residue on it. Place it stamper side down on construction paper or on an oil-blotter. You'd be surprised how much oil and dust these jelly stampers collect. You can't use acetone to clean them, so make sure you're cleaning them with a lint roller and blotting them with an oil-absorbing sheet at least once a week (or anytime you suspect they're too dirty to use).
This channel is a godsend! 10/10 clarity and thoroughness 💚💚

I loved this so much. It was like a science experiment! I watched before I had even tried stamping at all, and it made a difference.
Thank you so much! I'm so glad to hear that ♥️😊
Hi Romina, first off thanks so much. I'm a total beginner to nails completely but it's so fun I've now gotten up to stamping and your vids are SO helpful! I didn't catch this, but is it possible to scrape too hard too? I feel like I'm getting most things right but my scrape pressure may be messing up my pick ups
:( hope you see this and thanks again!
Hi! I'm glad to hear that you're finding my videos helpful 🤗 that could also be an issue and maybe you're removing too much polish. I try to scrape only once if possible, tops twice and not too lightly nor too heavy in terms of pressure. Though, I don't think this is a main factor. In my experience what affects the most is the amount of polish used on the plate, the time between steps and the stamper movement and pressure. Hope it helps, thanks for watching! 🤗❤️
@@TinyFingersnailart oh yup, lightened up the pressure and I'm pulling images way way better. I was def scraping too hard and the remaining thin polish dried too fast in the pattern wooo thank you!!
@@jechxy Awesome! Glad to hear that 🤗❤️ have fun stamping!
Hiya Ramina! Huge fan here and thank you for teaching me so much and inspiring me even more. Idk if it is necessary to ask you this, but just in case, I am. I filmed my first nail stamping video and I talk about and recommend this video and your youtube channel in the video and want to put a link to it in the description so that if my video leaves unanswered questions, they have yours and also I just want them to find you and have you as a resource. Soooo my question is, is that okay with you? Or do I need to try to edit my mentions of you out?
I guess thats actually 2 questions. Lol! And here is a third (sorry). Do you think it's normal and or necessary to ask for permission on something like this? Or just do it and don't make extra work for the other youtuber, in this case, you -- making them have to respond to these questions? Trying to figure out the CZcams etiquette on this?
My (soon to be launched) youtube channel called Rose Shows, my focus will be on making my own polishes, reviewing nail products & others polish as well as a lot of non nail related stuff. I thought I should maybe tell you that since its not live yet and therefore you don't have the option to look me over before deciding if you are okay with me talking about and recommending you and your videos. I hope the way I did this was okay.💜💜💜
Hi Rose! Thank you for such a nice comment. First of all, congrats on starting your CZcams channel, I'm sure you're going to have a lot of fun 🤗 I do appreciate you ask about this and I have no problem if you use a link to my channel on your videos. On the contrary, I appreciate that you find my videos useful and want to share them with more people. To answer your 3rd question, as long as you're not using pieces of another's person original videos to make your content, I don't think it's necessary to ask for permission to share a link, as the videos are public and you can for sure talk about that on your channel. Now, if that makes you feel better, you can leave them a comment mentioning that you're using their links as reference just to let them know but to be honest, I don't think it will be an issue. I wish you the best of luck and have fun making your videos 🤗❤️
What brand is a good stamper because mine is so bad it won’t pick it up at all nothing and that’s cheap and in uk?
I really like Clear jelly stamper as the head is very soft which works perfectly for my nails. What's up nails is also a good option, though the stamper is a little bit firmer. Twinkled T also has good stampers. I recommend you check their websites, you can see the links on the description of my video. I hope it helps 🤗💜
I always seem to have trouble with black polish, not bad stamps just bits missing but still usable. I'm just a beginner so likely my technique?
Hi! It could be the technique as black polish should stamp very good but it could also be that the polish is too old and it's a bit dry already, in these cases you could apply more polish and see if that's better. I hope it helps 🤗 thanks for watching!
hey , i have a question, sorry if this has already been asked, but what if you follow all tips and your design still has some little holes here and there, im using everything from moyra and i just cant seem to get design to transfer 100%, there is always a few small holes in the design, the only thing i can think of is that the nailpolish just dries or self levels causing the holes?, im just not sure
Hi! If you're following all the tips on this video, it could be that the polish is too old and it dries up super fast. I'd recommend covering the whole image with polish instead of just half of it and see how that works. If you want, take a quick video of you doing the whole process and you can send me a DM on Instagram so I can have more context to help you out 🤗❤️
thanks for your quick reply, i dont have instagram but i will try some other things, have a nice day.@@TinyFingersnailart
What black polish are you using?
I'm using a Maniology polish when I made this video but I don't support this brand anymore. I recommend Moyou London or What's up nails, their black polishes are great 🖤
Hi
I don't know why my nail stamper not picking little of design even tho I am doing quickly
Sorry to hear that, it requires some practice. Have you try with a different stamper? You could leave it overnight between 2 sheets of paper and that will remove the excess of oil from the stamper. I hope it helps 🤗
If you're still having issues: try a slower drying nail polish. Humidity levels and air temperature will affect the stamping.
I have a all new stamping kit, and your worst pick up is still better than mine. I am picking up almost nothing. I’ve tried everything, is this just a matter of practice?
I'm sorry to hear that. Well, one of the factors is indeed practice but try checking these things:
-Did you take off the protective film of the plate? It can be blue or clear
-Are you working fast enough? This is one of the most common factors, specially if you're working with regular polishes.
-Are you pressing too hard? The rolling motion has to be like "kissing" the plate, super soft.
-Have you tried with a different stamper? Maybe yours is not working properly (it's rare but it can be)
- Did you wash your stamper with dishsoap and water? You can also tried to put it between 2 pieces of paper overnight. This will leave your stamper cleaner and stickier.
I hope it helps 😊❤ don't get discouraged, like everything it takes time and practice. Just keep doing it!
@@TinyFingersnailart Thanks for the reply! I will keep trying until I figure it out. I have tried everything you mentioned and the only thing I can figure out is I may be pressing too hard.
@@Jude-to7lw if you have a video of you doing stamping, send it as dm to my Instagram so I can see if I can help you better 😊
@@TinyFingersnailart Hi. First let me say how much I really appreciate you willingness to full on help me out. I find that a lot of CZcamsrs don’t even reply. Anyway, I figured out my lack of ability to pickup a stamp, was due to me pressing too hard. Thanks so much for your help!
@@Jude-to7lw your welcome! Anytime 😊 I'm glad you found the issue. Have fun stamping! ❤
How to avail the stamp
Hi! Thanks for your question. Could you explain your question a bit more? 🤗
My stamper need to be washed. Thank you!
I hope you get it to work! 🤗
Hi ! I'm so disappointed , nothing gets on my stamper..
I'm doing it really quickly but no.. nothing.. 😣
Hi! I'm sorry to hear that. Did you take off the protective film from the plate? Sometimes it's clear and hard to see. Did you try with a different stampers? It could be so many things, could you give me more details so I can help you? 🤗
@@TinyFingersnailart hi !
I finally made it !!
My fault was that I pressed the stamper a bit harder than it supposed to 😏
Thanks a lot for your concern 🌹
I'm glad it worked out! Have fun 🤗💅🏼
