I love the idea of stamping. I make and sell custom press ons, and I prefer stamping gel because I don't/can't work fast enough to work with regular stamping polish. I shake from multiple spinal surgeries, so I work soooooo slow with stamping, but I have noticed that some images smudge/bleed, if you're not careful, when using stamping gel. I am slowing building up my stamping plates and getting more into it. This is an awesome video with some amazing tips!

Matte surface for sure an if you polish over top coat cleanse first with lint free wipe an alcohol even if it’s a no wipe top coat
Loved this vid Jessica, you dont see many tutorials on how to stamp...I too use CJS stampers & polish, for me they are the best out there... I find having a good stamper & polish you can stamp from most cheaper plates, Ive bought lots off ebay & never had any probs stamping.. Im hopeless at hand painting, so love the designs you can get from stamping..... Have you tried the new cjs sticky stamping polish, it allows you to dab foils over the design or rub chrome over.. your colours become endless.. Love your vids.. Thankyou for taking the time to film, edit and upload.. xx

@@nailedbyjessica .. I bought the sticky polish in the black & white, but then discovered their normal black (like in your vid) works just as good.. you've got to be quick at dabbing the foil over, but it does stay tacky just for a few seconds.. try with the polish you have.. xx

By the time you do your next layer it should be dry so no wait time
Where do you get the binder for the plates that are not clear Kelly stamper?
I just bought the stamping polish from Jelly Belly and the stamper as well. When I tried a design to stamp, it seems like the polish dries way too quickly and dries in the stamping plate, so none of the image is picked up on the stamper. I am new to stamping and cannot get it to work for me. Any help you could give me, would be greatly appreciated.
This looks sooo simple, and I’m hoping it is! Do you have any preferences as to where I should buy press ons, or does this work with natural nails? Another question, where did you buy all the supplies used in the video? (Besides normal nail polish). Thanks so much!
Clear jelly stamper is where I get most of my stamping supplies and yes you can do this on natural nails and I really don’t use press on’s

Not true I use regular nail polish some do work I have many stamping polish n some of them don’t work. I have MDN, bornpretty cjs n shemodern I love n use shemodern it works the best. But my collection is very large also.
I came across a Vlog who was sent Twinkled T sets. I’m glad I came across it because I’m new to stamping. My hands shake too much now. I’ve used Maniology and am extremely disappointed with the inconsistency of the quality. Black doesn’t work well on most plates whereas their CJS and Twinkled T are awesome. I’m going to have to checkout Shemodern.
Is there a way you can fix the plates that aren’t etched good enough?? I have some that are not good you can feel that they are not deep enough.I have stampers that I cannot get them to pic up I have tried washing it I done acetone and cleaned it with tape is there anything else I can try?? Hi Laura... You cant do anything to a plate to make the design work, they are etched out... I do lots of stamping designs, I was lucky enough to 'get it' straight away.. I also teach Gel Nail Art, and one of the hardest for people to do is stamping... I swear by a good stamper & stamping polish.. and Ive always used both from Clear Jelly stamper, with these Ive managed to stamp using the cheapest of plates off ebay.. Ive shown to studants the cheaper stampers, and how they just dont pick up the design.. switch to CJS stamper, and it picks it up with no problem.. so I'd get a good stamper & polish then see how you go... x

Ok ?. So I’m doing a wedding set and I want to do some stamping. The acrylic color is going to be all nude then I wanna do like white lace on some of the nails. So after I do my acrylic do I need to put a top coat before I stamp? And after the stamping, I use gel top coat and cure correct?
No top coat need before you stamp and after yes gel top coat 2 coats

You can use regular polish. Waste of money buying stamping polishes. They all work the same
You're not scraping correctly though. You are wiping your scraper across the plate which is why your polish is smeared after you scrape. You should only be using the edge of your scraper as you swipe the plate. Your image will not be smeared and you won't have so many mistakes.
