That's 289 thousands US dollars rough check , when you think of the structures here in America selling for 400 and 500 thousand dollars and they're not made of concrete blocks steel and cement one would say the price is good but why quote the US dollar to price a house in Jamaica. That sound way too expensive out there, they may have to keep it .

Because the quality of these houses in Jamaica are much better than most in the US. Even board houses in Jamaica are built with better quality wood and if you notice the wooden houses in Jamaica can withstand hurricanes etc. So if prices are being compared quality must be compared

It is indeed a lovely property, but I dont know why these people are asking so much for the houses in Jamaica. I believe they are doing the calculations relative to foreign currency, and hence it wouldnt seem so expensive to people living in the States or Canada...come on man, get real please.
