Your comparison vids are the best sir! no talk, just straight, apples to apples , no bs shootouts!
Thanks! hope they help :)
Echobrain doesn't need a custom mode, although having more outputs/inputs is nice on the Boss. Echobrain's oscillation is far better, which is why I own one. Perfect dark repeats for a variety of genres too.
Always appreciate you posting these videos Ryan... what is your personal favorite budget delay?
late to the party, but the guy from TC confirmed that these pedals are basically just re-housed behringer pedals with slight tweaks.
the behringer is a clone of the DM-2, so this should be about the same.
The echo brain is the best pedal out of the 4 delay pedals I have for slap back delay.
nice! what 4 delay pedals do you have?

DD-7 and 3 ' MXR carbon copy that I use on a regular basis ,I have a few more laying around that I've had since the 80's and throughout the year.
I play mostly country and rockabilly. For me the echo brain has a more pronounced sound for slap back delay that's why I have it on my board along side the DD-3 ' using the echo brain for slap back. Don't see why it isn't more popular , I guess the price.
Keith, thank you so much for this extremely useful information!
I find it really organic too...
Keep on picking!
The Ecobrain has a sweet tone.
Which one do you prefer Ryan?
Awesome comparison !!! ❤️👏🙌👊🏻
thank you! :)
Wow echobrain.. i like this..
TC Electronics Rocks .......
For the difference of price, I keep my echobrain 😀
Slightly more distortion on the Echobrain repeats? Anyone else feels the same?
@wlmrr Echorec is a multitap delay (emulates the Binson Echorec)...
I've just made a comparison video between these 2 pedals (without knowing this video) and that's exactly what I've felt while hearing the Echobrain. The Boss is more "precise" and the Echobrain has this very little strange dark thing in the sound so that in fact I prefer this one !!!
Very close.
Very expensive this pedals
Echobrain is rather affordable or was I got mine $39.99 brand new
But yeah can’t even get a BOSS DM-2w for less then $115 used in “good condition” this is a great video love the comparison. Both great analog delays. The TC Gauss Tape echo rivals all my others just without tap tempo. But Witt echobrain and Gauss Tape echo your so happy with the $40 new price tag,(if you shop around proper and but at the right time of the guitar center sale) your fine with a lack of tap tempo. Self oscillation on these is so much fun!
@@PMTluke but.... The great problem is that here, in my coutry, the USD costs 5,45.. So.. Multipli $35 x 5,45
@@PMTluke i bought a cheaper one... The ana delay by twinote
Even here in the great white north, your looking at 100 for an echobrain (just ordered mine friday). A wazacraft delay will be well over 200 cad.
