Read your Bible. Don’t let people read it for you. It’s all a very intricate scam. Free yourself from this cult. Read Deuteronomy, exodus, and Leviticus very very carefully and realize that the God that is speaking through Moses is Jesus giving these laws. Use your mind and ask the hard questions. Look at polite debates between non believers and believers and try to understand the facts with your own mind and understanding. The cult ACTUALLY says in corinthians “not with man’s understanding but with the spirit’s understanding.” And “walk not by sight but by faith.” It’s all a very very delicate intricate detailed scam/cult for political or monetary Gain! Pastor Doug, i was wrong about how long it took my Grandson to heal, I just reread my daughter's text, it took him 4 months to heal before he could walk. And he has had to go back for therapy once a month since he was released, but Praise God!! He is walking!!! I came across this video. I’m really struggling. I’m trying to figure out if I heard the voice of God regarding what I’m praying for. I’m a new comer to Christ. A while back, I was learning about praying/fasting and how when combined-it is powerful. So I decided to pray about it. One day, I told God, okay Lord I’m going to fast for 3 days regarding my situation, on the 4th day can you please show me this particular sign. I specifically picked a sign, that if I wasn’t in the right place at the right time I would miss. The 4th day came- and low and behold before the day ended I saw the sign. Recently however, I found out some devastating news regarding my situation. I’m broken- now I’m wondering if I heard from the Lord correctly? Today, I saw a testimony about a woman whom wanted to know if she was making the right decision so she told the Lord, I’m going to open the Bible and whatever passage I read I will know if you are confirming my decision. I tried that today, and I kid you not- the scripture/person I’ve been praying for aligned with what I opened my Bible to. That persons name was even on the right hand side- because my Bible has written testimonies throughout it. My flesh is so insecure & the devils roar sure is loud when you are already broken.
@@alexandrarae7435 Perhaps you should look to scripture for advice about seeking after signs. Deuteronomy 18 9-12 suggests that people who do these things may be detestable to the LORD your God. Sure there may be signs. I've seen signs all through my life but never dwell on them. The Bible can never be straightforward or simple. Daniel could interpret dreams which may or may not conflict with Deuteronomy. Gideon asked for a sign in Judges 6. So who can surely say? Surely not a random stranger on the internet can tell you. I would caution against making life decisions based on asking God for signs. God gave us free will after all. While the enemy is always out to deceive us. The important thing is believing in Jesus.
I have had the Lord audible speak to me three times. The first two times, I was not a Christian. The Bible speaks of two ways the Lord speaks to someone. That still small voice, which most people call your conscience and a loud shout from behind. The first time was when I was in college and on a fishing trip to the Florida Keys. As soon as I arrived, I grabbed my fishing pole and began wading around in the water. I was in about 2 1/2 feet of water when a massive shout from behind said, "LOOK AT YOUR FOOT". I immediately looked down and there was a shark, with it's mouth wide open, right above my foot. I screamed, jumped up and literally ran on top of the water back into shore. The second time was about 8 years later when I was driving in my little Triumph Spitfire sports car. I was on a two lane, one way road, following an old beat up pickup truck that was towing a large cement mixer. Suddenly I hear that shout from behind, "MOVE INTO THE OTHER LANE!" It is so loud and startling you automatically do what is said with out thinking. I veered left into the other lane, just as the large cement mixers engine broke loose. It hit the road and bounced just to the right of my car at the height of my door's window. I immediately realized that if I had not mowed , it would have gone through the windshield and killed me. These first two times, I though myself very lucky. The third time was many years later, I was in my 40's and had just accepted Christ as my savior. It was on a Wednesday night and I was returning home from church services. It was dark, cold and raining hard. Suddenly, a shout from behind screamed, "PARK AT THE FARM HOUSE!" The house I was renting was just around the corner from an old 1890's farmhouse that I was renovating but I dutifully jammed on the brakes, jerked the steering wheel to the left and went sliding down the wet, slippery, dirt drive. Seating there, in the dark, with the rain loudly crashing down the the truck's roof, I asked myself what I was doing there. I had no rain coat, no flashlight and I had over the length of a football field to walk home. As I opened the front door, my wife asked where the truck was and did I want something to eat. I responded with, "Over at the farmhouse and no I don't want anything to eat. I'm wet, tired and just want to go to sleep in a nice warm bed. Early the next morning, my wife woke me up and excitedly exclaimed, "Thank goodness you parked at the farm house. Last night that huge Lombardy Poplar fell and if you had parked where you normally do, your truck would have been crushed. This time I realized that all the shouts had been from the Lord. If my foot had been mangled, the rest of my life would have been different. If the motor had hit me, I would not have had a rest of my life and if my truck had been crushed, I had no money to buy another and would not have been able to care for my family. I am nobody special and sometimes wonder why the Lord did this for me; a nobody. Praise the Lord and give all glory to him.
Be careful. Because any spirit will ablige you with that. Read about his voice! Psalm 29. Revelations ch1 and many other places. Aquaint yourself with what it says about his voice. Cause this teacher pretty well missed the boat with this message.
I HAVE heard my Angel sing when I was still new playing piano at church. It was an answer to prayer, for God to help me keep the time and not be nervous up front. It was the most beautiful soprano singing. None of the men could sing soprano, and none of the few ladies who were there could sing either. It was a great blessing.
Yes, one would need to want to hear in order to hear. I heard audibly as a child, with the cares of this present the hearing is fewer and farther but lately circumstances have caused me to hear again. God is near to the broken hearted but none of us want to sign up for hurt. God have mercy on all humanity and help us to turn from laziness (depending on kings, governments and man made systems) and return to truly depending on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. I have been watching Doug since I was 14 and I am now 44, thank you sir for your genuine service!
Just imagine, Jesus was preaching to 5 thousand men not counting the women and children. He should have also a very powerful loud voice. The people were with Him long hours even days, surely they sat on the ground...Jesus had very strong, and when needed, a loud voice to reach all the hearers.
Pastor Doug is so positive and uplifting. I enjoy listening to his intelligent delivery of GODS' wisdom. I think he is also witty . He seems to be an orator for God to me, and perhaps one of the most genteel . Thanks !+!

I was newly engaged I was in deep prayer asking God if I was doing the right thing if he was the right man for me, and in a deep loud voice someone said "stay away from him" I looked out the window it was dark outside and everyone in the house was sleeping. It had to be God speaking to me. God gives me visions about things that are going to happen. Things have happened exactly like I saw it in my dreams. So I know it's from God
I desperately wanted to hear God's voice... and I begged him just about every day to let me hear his voice. Not because I wanted a sign. I guess just because I knew he could talk audibly to me if he wanted to. He had answered so many of my prayers right after I asked that I knew he listened and loved me. I felt so, so loved. I just could hardly believe he loved me so much. I would tell people about him all the time. Explaining that all they needed to do was ask . My family got sick of hearing about him. I thought everybody should love him as much as I did.. and do. Then, out of the blue one night as I was getting into bed I heard my name spoken out loud. The voice was gentle, loving, and kind. Then a second, female voice said "just answer". I froze, for just one moment, and then flew upstairs to check on everyone. They were all sleeping soundly so I went back downstairs and got back into bed when again that first loving, soothing, fatherly voice said my name. I was too afraid to answer. I have never heard of a female angel. I stayed still and quiet until they were gone. I am mad at myself for being so cowardly. I am afraid it was God and I hurt his feelings. But I don't know who the female would have been. Anyway.. God can talk to us audibly. I lost much that night I didn't answer. God's word in the Bible is wonderful but nothing can compare to a close relationship with him. Nothing compares to his friendship and power.
God spoke audibly in my ear one night around 2 yrs ago, after receiving the Holy Spirit, Jesus said to me "I will judge the living and the dead" I saw a brief vision into Heaven and eternity, and felt what it was like to feel eternity, and it was a very personal vision only I would have gotten. It was incredible. I also had a instance one morning, waking up, where I suddenly began to hear terrifying screams from Hell, agonizing screams, a great multitude of screams of fear and terror, and loud drums beating in Hell. This sound gave me chills, anguish, and trauma.

I had this very conversation with a close friend of mine yesterday about listening to the voice of the Spirit. I woke up 4 days ago with a horrible pain in my right ribs. It felt like I had been punched by Mike Tyson. Before that I had not been lifting or straining on anything. The pain just suddenly seemed to have appeared. As that day went on and the pain got worse and worse I put my hand on that part of my ribs and prayed that God would heal whatever that was. I knew and believed absolutely that God could heal this pain if it was His will to do so. In my mind a thought said "take a tylenol". I recognized the voice but I wasn't getting the answer I wanted or expected. I didn't think a tylenol would do much of anything for this except lessen the pain a little. It wouldn't fix whatever this was so the pain would come right back and I was concerned it was something more serious going on in there. I went on with my day and the pain got worse and I couldn't even breathe without it hurting extremely bad. I put my hand on it again and prayed again and "take a tylenol" came back. That night I tried to sleep and couldn't. In the early morning hours of the next day I finally took the tylenol. I was able to lay down and sleep for a few hours. When I woke up the pain was completely gone. In a prayer sort of mode in my mind I wondered and asked what this was about. The story of the leper that had to go wash in the river came into my mind. Ah, LOL, so I get it now. Taking a tylenol isn't quite as dramatic a test of faith as washing 7 times in the Jordan river but it can still be a test of faith and ps. do not question the motivations of the voice. It is kind of amazing that out of the blue this very sermon popped up on my you tube menu tonight.

God the Son rested,The Catholic Church acknowledges that the seventh day Adventist’s are keeping the true sabbath. No where in the bible does Jesus say to keep another day. Exodus 20: 8-11 says to remember as God knew that someone will change it. John 1:1-3 states that Jesus created everything, if He did, He gave us the day of rest too. 1John 1:3-6, and hereby we do know that we know Him if we keep His commandments... please read for yourself in the bible the other texts.

In a time of great distress, quite some years ago, I heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit. It was audible but not audible, so hard to describe. It was very clear and the sweetest most incredible thing i have ever 'heard' saying, "I love you My child". So precious and such an impact for a distraught and not very good person at that particular time. The blessings from our Creator are incredible, and when Jesus said he would send the Comforter he surely meant it, for I have been blessed to experience just that.

I live in North Vancouver, BC Canada and we don't have a church there and the ones in other areas, I can't get to because I don't drive and our bus system is horrible for Saturdays... so you the man who has been helping me... I watch one of your sermons every day when I finish studying my Bible.. I have been lonely for associating with other Christians of like faith, although I was studying with the JW's for a time and I do go for meetings with them because they are so happy all the time, but I don't believe they have the full truth and I miss that. I am down in the States visiting my sister right now and we are going to church this morning... I am very excited. One other thing you might want to point out is that if/when you do and you given instructions, follow them. I received a miracle because I did just that. I heard His voice after my prayer and I was lead right to what I had lost. If I had prayed and not followed His instructions, or if I had had any doubt I know I would not have found it, every. It was lost in the ocean. I praise God always for that miracle.

Messengers of the word are very important. The wonderful complexity that God created for each of us. Yes. it is possible to here the voice of God. Have heard His voice once while asleep and followed His direction. When you hear the voice of God, you know it is the voice of God. Yep! computer tech can be deadly to humans. Seventh-day Adventists believe that when you die the breath goes back to God and the person remains in the grave until Jesus comes again. Then at the 2nd coming of Jesus the righteous sleeping in the graves with be resurrected to everlasting life and will be raised and go up to meet the Lord in the air.

Pastor Doug, i was wrong about how long it took my Grandson to heal, I just reread my daughter's text, it took him 4 months to heal before he could walk. And he has had to go back for therapy once a month since he was released, but Praise God!! He is walking!!! I came across this video. I’m really struggling. I’m trying to figure out if I heard the voice of God regarding what I’m praying for. I’m a new comer to Christ.
A while back, I was learning about praying/fasting and how when combined-it is powerful. So I decided to pray about it. One day, I told God, okay Lord I’m going to fast for 3 days regarding my situation, on the 4th day can you please show me this particular sign. I specifically picked a sign, that if I wasn’t in the right place at the right time I would miss. The 4th day came- and low and behold before the day ended I saw the sign.
Recently however, I found out some devastating news regarding my situation. I’m broken- now I’m wondering if I heard from the Lord correctly?
Today, I saw a testimony about a woman whom wanted to know if she was making the right decision so she told the Lord, I’m going to open the Bible and whatever passage I read I will know if you are confirming my decision.
I tried that today, and I kid you not- the scripture/person I’ve been praying for aligned with what I opened my Bible to. That persons name was even on the right hand side- because my Bible has written testimonies throughout it.
My flesh is so insecure & the devils roar sure is loud when you are already broken.
@@alexandrarae7435 Perhaps you should look to scripture for advice about seeking after signs. Deuteronomy 18 9-12 suggests that people who do these things may be detestable to the LORD your God.
Sure there may be signs. I've seen signs all through my life but never dwell on them.
The Bible can never be straightforward or simple. Daniel could interpret dreams which may or may not conflict with Deuteronomy. Gideon asked for a sign in Judges 6. So who can surely say? Surely not a random stranger on the internet can tell you.
I would caution against making life decisions based on asking God for signs. God gave us free will after all. While the enemy is always out to deceive us. The important thing is believing in Jesus.

I have had the Lord audible speak to me three times. The first two times, I was not a Christian.
The Bible speaks of two ways the Lord speaks to someone. That still small voice, which most
people call your conscience and a loud shout from behind.
The first time was when I was in college and on a fishing trip to the Florida Keys. As soon
as I arrived, I grabbed my fishing pole and began wading around in the water. I was in about
2 1/2 feet of water when a massive shout from behind said, "LOOK AT YOUR FOOT". I immediately looked down and there was a shark, with it's mouth wide open, right above my
foot. I screamed, jumped up and literally ran on top of the water back into shore.
The second time was about 8 years later when I was driving in my little Triumph Spitfire
sports car. I was on a two lane, one way road, following an old beat up pickup truck that was
towing a large cement mixer. Suddenly I hear that shout from behind, "MOVE INTO THE OTHER LANE!" It is so loud and startling you automatically do what is said with out thinking. I veered
left into the other lane, just as the large cement mixers engine broke loose. It hit the road and
bounced just to the right of my car at the height of my door's window. I immediately realized
that if I had not mowed , it would have gone through the windshield and killed me. These first
two times, I though myself very lucky.
The third time was many years later, I was in my 40's and had just accepted Christ as
my savior. It was on a Wednesday night and I was returning home from church services. It was
dark, cold and raining hard. Suddenly, a shout from behind screamed, "PARK AT THE FARM HOUSE!"
The house I was renting was just around the corner from an old 1890's farmhouse that I was renovating but I dutifully jammed on the brakes, jerked the steering wheel to the left and went
sliding down the wet, slippery, dirt drive. Seating there, in the dark, with the rain loudly crashing
down the the truck's roof, I asked myself what I was doing there. I had no rain coat, no flashlight
and I had over the length of a football field to walk home. As I opened the front door, my wife
asked where the truck was and did I want something to eat. I responded with, "Over at the
farmhouse and no I don't want anything to eat. I'm wet, tired and just want to go to sleep in a nice warm bed. Early the next morning, my wife woke me up and excitedly exclaimed, "Thank goodness
you parked at the farm house. Last night that huge Lombardy Poplar fell and if you had parked
where you normally do, your truck would have been crushed.
This time I realized that all the shouts had been from the Lord. If my foot had been mangled,
the rest of my life would have been different. If the motor had hit me, I would not have had a rest
of my life and if my truck had been crushed, I had no money to buy another and would not have
been able to care for my family.
I am nobody special and sometimes wonder why the Lord did this for me; a nobody. Praise the
Lord and give all glory to him.

I HAVE heard my Angel sing when I was still new playing piano at church. It was an answer to prayer, for God to help me keep the time and not be nervous up front. It was the most beautiful soprano singing. None of the men could sing soprano, and none of the few ladies who were there could sing either. It was a great blessing.
Yes, one would need to want to hear in order to hear. I heard audibly as a child, with the cares of this present the hearing is fewer and farther but lately circumstances have caused me to hear again. God is near to the broken hearted but none of us want to sign up for hurt. God have mercy on all humanity and help us to turn from laziness (depending on kings, governments and man made systems) and return to truly depending on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God. I have been watching Doug since I was 14 and I am now 44, thank you sir for your genuine service!
Just imagine, Jesus was preaching to 5 thousand men not counting the women and children. He should have also a very powerful loud voice. The people were with Him long hours even days, surely they sat on the ground...Jesus had very strong, and when needed, a loud voice to reach all the hearers.
I believe it's in the book Desire of Ages it was the landscape of the area was acoustical in nature and Jesus is voice was carried through the area

I was newly engaged I was in deep prayer asking God if I was doing the right thing if he was the right man for me, and in a deep loud voice someone said "stay away from him" I looked out the window it was dark outside and everyone in the house was sleeping. It had to be God speaking to me. God gives me visions about things that are going to happen. Things have happened exactly like I saw it in my dreams. So I know it's from God

I desperately wanted to hear God's voice... and I begged him just about every day to let me hear his voice. Not because I wanted a sign. I guess just because I knew he could talk audibly to me if he wanted to. He had answered so many of my prayers right after I asked that I knew he listened and loved me. I felt so, so loved. I just could hardly believe he loved me so much. I would tell people about him all the time. Explaining that all they needed to do was ask . My family got sick of hearing about him. I thought everybody should love him as much as I did.. and do. Then, out of the blue one night as I was getting into bed I heard my name spoken out loud. The voice was gentle, loving, and kind. Then a second, female voice said "just answer". I froze, for just one moment, and then flew upstairs to check on everyone. They were all sleeping soundly so I went back downstairs and got back into bed when again that first loving, soothing, fatherly voice said my name. I was too afraid to answer. I have never heard of a female angel. I stayed still and quiet until they were gone. I am mad at myself for being so cowardly. I am afraid it was God and I hurt his feelings. But I don't know who the female would have been. Anyway.. God can talk to us audibly. I lost much that night I didn't answer. God's word in the Bible is wonderful but nothing can compare to a close relationship with him. Nothing compares to his friendship and power.
God spoke audibly in my ear one night around 2 yrs ago, after receiving the Holy Spirit, Jesus said to me "I will judge the living and the dead" I saw a brief vision into Heaven and eternity, and felt what it was like to feel eternity, and it was a very personal vision only I would have gotten. It was incredible. I also had a instance one morning, waking up, where I suddenly began to hear terrifying screams from Hell, agonizing screams, a great multitude of screams of fear and terror, and loud drums beating in Hell. This sound gave me chills, anguish, and trauma.

It has nothing to do with any Covenant. The Roman Catholic Church is the entity that changed it to Sunday from Saturday.

I had this very conversation with a close friend of mine yesterday about listening to the voice of the Spirit. I woke up 4 days ago with a horrible pain in my right ribs. It felt like I had been punched by Mike Tyson. Before that I had not been lifting or straining on anything. The pain just suddenly seemed to have appeared. As that day went on and the pain got worse and worse I put my hand on that part of my ribs and prayed that God would heal whatever that was. I knew and believed absolutely that God could heal this pain if it was His will to do so. In my mind a thought said "take a tylenol". I recognized the voice but I wasn't getting the answer I wanted or expected.
I didn't think a tylenol would do much of anything for this except lessen the pain a little. It wouldn't fix whatever this was so the pain would come right back and I was concerned it was something more serious going on in there. I went on with my day and the pain got worse and I couldn't even breathe without it hurting extremely bad. I put my hand on it again and prayed again and "take a tylenol" came back. That night I tried to sleep and couldn't.
In the early morning hours of the next day I finally took the tylenol. I was able to lay down and sleep for a few hours. When I woke up the pain was completely gone. In a prayer sort of mode in my mind I wondered and asked what this was about. The story of the leper that had to go wash in the river came into my mind. Ah, LOL, so I get it now. Taking a tylenol isn't quite as dramatic a test of faith as washing 7 times in the Jordan river but it can still be a test of faith and ps. do not question the motivations of the voice.
It is kind of amazing that out of the blue this very sermon popped up on my you tube menu tonight.

In a time of great distress, quite some years ago, I heard the Voice of the Holy Spirit. It was audible but not audible, so hard to describe. It was very clear and the sweetest most incredible thing i have ever 'heard' saying, "I love you My child". So precious and such an impact for a distraught and not very good person at that particular time. The blessings from our Creator are incredible, and when Jesus said he would send the Comforter he surely meant it, for I have been blessed to experience just that.

You’re very skilled at making you serious points and equally as skilled at poking fun at yourself and “entertaining” your congregation. When you share stories of yourself, I know there is always something special at the end. God has blessed you with this gift and you share it with all who hear you. ❤️🐈
I would like to thank you Pastor Batchelor for your continued support of my spiritual growth... it took me a long time to find you, but with the help of my sister, I finally tracked you down. I live in North Vancouver, BC Canada and we don't have a church there and the ones in other areas, I can't get to because I don't drive and our bus system is horrible for Saturdays... so you the man who has been helping me... I watch one of your sermons every day when I finish studying my Bible.. I have been lonely for associating with other Christians of like faith, although I was studying with the JW's for a time and I do go for meetings with them because they are so happy all the time, but I don't believe they have the full truth and I miss that. I am down in the States visiting my sister right now and we are going to church this morning... I am very excited. Keep preaching, cause I need you and you are helping me to grow in the faith and my spiritual Growth. Thank you... Becca Parks

One other thing you might want to point out is that if/when you do and you given instructions, follow them. I received a miracle because I did just that. I heard His voice after my prayer and I was lead right to what I had lost. If I had prayed and not followed His instructions, or if I had had any doubt I know I would not have found it, every. It was lost in the ocean. I praise God always for that miracle.

Messengers of the word are very important. The wonderful complexity that God created for each of us. Yes. it is possible to here the voice of God. Have heard His voice once while asleep and followed His direction. When you hear the voice of God, you know it is the voice of God. Yep! computer tech can be deadly to humans.
