If you are saved now you will be taken away by Christ in the Rapture immediately before the tribulation period. The tribulation is for the unsaved and unbelieving Israel. Two thirds of Israel will be killed but the balance will turn to Christ and be saved. God will protect them when the battle of Armageddon occurs. At the end of the tribulation the saved will go into the 1000 year reign of Christ and the unsaved will be cast into hell. Any person who takes the mark of the beast will be cast into hell.
You don't want to be on earth when Great tribulation takes place because it's going to so horrible and those days are going to be the worst event in the history of human race because there going a Alien invasion and demons released on the earth to kill, torment, attack people constantly there is going to mass chaos and mayhem on scale you never seen before martial law soldiers are going to kill people just kill. @Jon Bones Jones Not quite, If you miss the rapture you can still be saved but it will almost certainly cost you your life. Many will be beheaded by the beast during the tribulation period. What ever you do do not take the mark of the beast, it will send you to eternal damnation and I certainly not want you to experience that. Life will be terrible in fact the worst man has ever experienced. If you repent to-day and take Jesus as your savior you will either die and go to be with the lord for ever or you will be taken away in the rapture.

Here I am in 2024 and just coming across this sermon now. By far, this is the most comforting and encouraging message I have ever heard. If you take all of what Pastor Doug said and view it from the opposite perspective, you should develop an understanding of why it is said that an apostasy will take place prior to the return of Jesus. They are not prepared, they are the seeds that were sown among rocky grounds. The word was received with joy, but when trials and persecution comes, they fall away because they have no root.

Paul says Acts 14:22 that we will endure some tribulation, he states that around 50:20. Paul says “Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22 KJV So by interpretation we will experience tribulation before the rapture.

The church is experiencing tribulation now. But will be delivered from the Great Tribulation when Jesus comes back for us. The anitchrist cannot come to full power until the church is taken out of the way because it is the church that hinders him, the Holy Spirit isn't going anywhere, if He did then there would be no tribulation saints, saints that give there heart the Jesus after the Rapture of the Church.
Love him into Truth, the only Truth. This Pastor seems kind but his message is incorrect. Ask God to give you Wisdom to discern what is truth and what is not. We, as Christians, are not destined to God's Wrath that is coming upon the whole world. Why would He do that if He says "When you began to see these things happen (chaos in the world Matthew 24, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, etc) look up for your redemption is drawing near. Then He said encourage one another with these words. Why would He tell us of the Blessed Hope, the Rapture of the church before the tribulation, if it weren't so? That would be cruel. If we are going to go through the tribulation period of pure hell on Earth for 7 years, that would not be encouraging to me. Read your Bible, listen to other teachers that teach eschatology. Then compare these to see what is truth. @@Espie-123 Did you not hear Pastor Doug, where he read straight from scripture that Jesus said, "and except those days (DURING the tribulation) should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Matthew 24:22. Jesus Himself plainly stated that His church, the elect, will still be on earth during the tribulation. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Matthew 24:13. What will they have to endure? The tribulation. Many people teach the opposite of this. If you believe that the church will be caught up before the tribulation, I suggest you do an extensive Bible study to know the truth. Don't look to worldly preachers. Most of them teach false doctrines. See Isaiah 8:20. Compare scripture with scripture to allow the Bible to interpret itself. The Holy Spirit will guide you, if you prayerfully ask for wisdom. Yes Donna, Jan Markel is wonderful and knows her scriptures. I have been an evangelical for many decades and we believe a bit differently than Doug Batchelor does. We believe the rapture will occur before the tribulation, before the peace treaty is signed by Israel. Why would the Lord make sure His bride is beat to a pulp? We are not appointed to wrath.

Interesting breakdown of Matthew Chapter 24. I have never heard anyone point to prophecy past, already fulfilled historically, yet future during the time Jesus spoke to His disciples, and then future as in we are still waiting for the rest of the signs. This gave me a new avenue of study to pursue. I also see that there are many critics against the non-rapture thought which I find interesting. If all commentors watch this channel on a regular basis, they would already know that Doug has been an advocate against the rapture. I am still on the fence about it, but one thing I am sure of. It has nothing to do with my salvation! If Jesus sees fit to gather me up before the start of "the" tribulation period, great. If not, so be it. Either way, I belong to Him and in Him alone do I place my faith and trust.
On thinking of the Crucifixion of Christ it takes me back to when Eve was deceived by Satan , Adam made a conscious decision to turn away from Christ so God made the 1st. Sacrifice to cover their nakedness, Christ was crucified NAKED And went on to suffer in the garden of Gethsemane, thru a trial, and then to die naked On a cross...I think about the birth of us born in sin With the propensity to sin BORN A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE ANGELS...Who are we to God that he is So mindful of us, We are the pride of the universe That's what we are, the love of a powerful wonderful God who gave us His All in order to SAVE us from permanent death.
I've heard that seven years of great tribulation could be prophetic in years, not literal years, but for each day being a year. For example, 1260 days equals 1260 prophetic years. But if you read the whole book of Revelation, some of the events such as the locusts stinging people for five months, the two witnesses prophesying and preaching for 1260 days, don't make sense if 1260 days is 1260 prophetic years. So this is why I believe in a literal seven-year tribulation.
The 1260 yrs is fulfilled already 538 AD to 1798 AD, but I agree with you that God has unsealed the end time prophecies of Daniel to reveal we are in the last seven years in which we will surely have great tribulation starting with covid-19 and social unrest(2020-2026) leading to the mark of the beast. Cashless society, government mandated rest(sunday) for pollution control, bearing false witness(racism) against your neighbor for personal gain, abolishment of local law enforcement replaced by military law enforcement, and the president of these united states(2026) bringing the armies of all nations against Jerusalem probably in favor of the muslim side of the conflict that has simmered in that region for centuries. Zech 14:2-4 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished, and half of the city shall go forth into captivity(prison), and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

For me well, I do things while listening to Doug…an ad will pop up and I have to stop what I’m doing and go to my computer and skip an ad every 6-8 minutes. When you listen as I do, every day 3-4 Doug sermons a day, well then it wears on you. I will say thank for a pleasant morning thus far…
Why?! I do not see these pastors preaching without all these spotlights. I want to see videos pastors who preach in areas without aircondition with mosquitoes sorrounded them. Preaches with just a simple clothes, not with a two-pieces giovani suits with glistening watches. Preach without all the spotlights. Yup it's called tribulation, trouble, problems, we're all going through it(John 16:33). But the great tribulation is a whole different story. True believing Christian's will be raptured up, caught up. Gone. We're not appointed to God's wrath.

Revelation 3:10 Notice that God does not promise to keep us THROUGH the Tribulation. Rather, He promises to keep us FROM the hour of temptation that will come upon the whole world. The Rapture is PRIOR to the Tribulation.

And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will *wipe away every tear from their eyes*.” The Bible says "the ones who come out of the great tribulation" and it says that it all the translations. The only way you can come out is if you were in it. Why would he need to wipe away every tear from their eyes? Because they had endured persecution by the beast. Revelation 13:7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. The beast makes war with the saints. If we're gone before the Great Tribulation, who is the beast making war against?

Hi there Pastor Doug I have a 3 parted question for you? It is about Michael the archangel. Here they go : Is Michael the archangel , mentioned in Daniel 12:1 , the Creator or a Creation ? The next question is : Is he worthy of praise then ? The final question is : Is Michael , GOD , or is he like GOD ?
Michael is created, Michael is not to be worshipped, Michael is not God...he is the protector of the nation of Israel according to Daniel. There are two other archangels...Gabriel...and Lucifer. Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. If you believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Son of God, that He died on the cross to save us from our sins, rose from the dead 3 days later, you won't have to worry about the tribulation, because His church will be raptured. Read the book of 1 Thessalonians. The rapture is there. Read the Scriptures.

If you are saved now you will be taken away by Christ in the Rapture immediately before the tribulation period. The tribulation is for the unsaved and unbelieving Israel. Two thirds of Israel will be killed but the balance will turn to Christ and be saved. God will protect them when the battle of Armageddon occurs. At the end of the tribulation the saved will go into the 1000 year reign of Christ and the unsaved will be cast into hell. Any person who takes the mark of the beast will be cast into hell.
You don't want to be on earth when Great tribulation takes place because it's going to so horrible and those days are going to be the worst event in the history of human race because there going a Alien invasion and demons released on the earth to kill, torment, attack people constantly there is going to mass chaos and mayhem on scale you never seen before martial law soldiers are going to kill people just kill. @Jon Bones Jones Not quite, If you miss the rapture you can still be saved but it will almost certainly cost you your life. Many will be beheaded by the beast during the tribulation period. What ever you do do not take the mark of the beast, it will send you to eternal damnation and I certainly not want you to experience that. Life will be terrible in fact the worst man has ever experienced. If you repent to-day and take Jesus as your savior you will either die and go to be with the lord for ever or you will be taken away in the rapture.

Here I am in 2024 and just coming across this sermon now. By far, this is the most comforting and encouraging message I have ever heard. If you take all of what Pastor Doug said and view it from the opposite perspective, you should develop an understanding of why it is said that an apostasy will take place prior to the return of Jesus. They are not prepared, they are the seeds that were sown among rocky grounds. The word was received with joy, but when trials and persecution comes, they fall away because they have no root.

Paul says Acts 14:22 that we will endure some tribulation, he states that around 50:20. Paul says “Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.” Acts 14:22 KJV
So by interpretation we will experience tribulation before the rapture.

Love him into Truth, the only Truth. This Pastor seems kind but his message is incorrect. Ask God to give you Wisdom to discern what is truth and what is not. We, as Christians, are not destined to God's Wrath that is coming upon the whole world. Why would He do that if He says "When you began to see these things happen (chaos in the world Matthew 24, 1st and 2nd Thessalonians, etc) look up for your redemption is drawing near. Then He said encourage one another with these words. Why would He tell us of the Blessed Hope, the Rapture of the church before the tribulation, if it weren't so? That would be cruel. If we are going to go through the tribulation period of pure hell on Earth for 7 years, that would not be encouraging to me. Read your Bible, listen to other teachers that teach eschatology. Then compare these to see what is truth. @@Espie-123 Did you not hear Pastor Doug, where he read straight from scripture that Jesus said, "and except those days (DURING the tribulation) should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened." Matthew 24:22. Jesus Himself plainly stated that His church, the elect, will still be on earth during the tribulation. "But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved." Matthew 24:13. What will they have to endure? The tribulation. Many people teach the opposite of this. If you believe that the church will be caught up before the tribulation, I suggest you do an extensive Bible study to know the truth. Don't look to worldly preachers. Most of them teach false doctrines. See Isaiah 8:20. Compare scripture with scripture to allow the Bible to interpret itself. The Holy Spirit will guide you, if you prayerfully ask for wisdom. 1. The Seventh Day Adventist Protestant denomination was not even thought of by a "man" in Battle Creek, MI until 1863AD, so how can there remotely be any claim back to Jesus Christ or outrageously "Genesis"??? 2. SDA's don't want you to understand in the Book of Daniel it was referencing the Antiochus persecution of the Jews that is thoroughly corroborated in history and the Book of Maccabees. (Dan. 7:25/1 Maccabees 1:41-57, Daniel 9:27/1 Maccabees 1:20-22, Daniel 11:21-45/all of which Antiochus did historically, Daniel 12:6-7/Antiochus persecution lasted 1,335 days)
3. SDA's don't want you to understand in the Book of Revelation the "Beast" (Roman Empire) and the "Harlot" (Jews) have already teamed up to not only kill our Lord (John 19:15), but all the early Church Saints. And yes, the "Beast" (Roman Empire) did in fact "devour" the "Harlot" (Revelation 17:16) with utter destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD as Jesus Christ accurately predicted in Matthew 24:34 or within one "generation" (40 years) of His prophecy.
4. SDA's don't want you to understand the old covenant Jews never ever separated the 10 Commandments from all 613 Commandments:

6. SDA'S don't want you to know about GOD'S promise to "end" all the old Jewish covenant "Harlot Sabbaths" per Hosea 2:11, Lamentations 2:6, 2:9, Luke 16:16, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 3:19-25, Hebrews 8:13.
And, what day all the Leviticus Chapter 23 "forever" feasts point to - being "the day after Sabbath" as the NEW COVENANT PASSOVER (Luke 22:19) fulfills all these old covenant "shadow" feasts (Hebrews 10:1) .
7. SDA'S don't want you to know about the NEW COVENANT PRIESTHOOD or Levi covenant promise (Jeremiah 33:14-22, Malachi 2:4-7, 3:3) where GOD said He would take in "some" Gentile "priests" fulfilling Isaiah 66:18-21 prophecy - necessitating a "change" in the law to allow "some" Gentile priests:
Hebrews 7:12 "For when there is a change in the priesthood, there is necessarily a change in the law as well."

SDA's don't want you to know the power of being baptized through the NEW ADAM (Romans 5:12-21) Jesus Christ and how we are no longer "under" old covenant worship laws (Romans 6:14-15, 7:6, 7:10-11, 8:2, 10:4, 1 Corinthians 9:20-21, 2 Corinthians 3:3-11, 5:17, Galatians 3:19-25, 4:21-31, Hebrews 7:12, 8:13) and instead in a state of "GRACE" as long as we remain Holy.

Yes Donna, Jan Markel is wonderful and knows her scriptures. I have been an evangelical for many decades and we believe a bit differently than Doug Batchelor does. We believe the rapture will occur before the tribulation, before the peace treaty is signed by Israel. Why would the Lord make sure His bride is beat to a pulp? We are not appointed to wrath.

Interesting breakdown of Matthew Chapter 24. I have never heard anyone point to prophecy past, already fulfilled historically, yet future during the time Jesus spoke to His disciples, and then future as in we are still waiting for the rest of the signs. This gave me a new avenue of study to pursue. I also see that there are many critics against the non-rapture thought which I find interesting. If all commentors watch this channel on a regular basis, they would already know that Doug has been an advocate against the rapture. I am still on the fence about it, but one thing I am sure of. It has nothing to do with my salvation! If Jesus sees fit to gather me up before the start of "the" tribulation period, great. If not, so be it. Either way, I belong to Him and in Him alone do I place my faith and trust.

I've heard that seven years of great tribulation could be prophetic in years, not literal years, but for each day being a year. For example, 1260 days equals 1260 prophetic years. But if you read the whole book of Revelation, some of the events such as the locusts stinging people for five months, the two witnesses prophesying and preaching for 1260 days, don't make sense if 1260 days is 1260 prophetic years. So this is why I believe in a literal seven-year tribulation.
The 1260 yrs is fulfilled already 538 AD to 1798 AD, but I agree with you that God has unsealed the end time prophecies of Daniel to reveal we are in the last seven years in which we will surely have great tribulation starting with covid-19 and social unrest(2020-2026) leading to the mark of the beast. Cashless society, government mandated rest(sunday) for pollution control, bearing false witness(racism) against your neighbor for personal gain, abolishment of local law enforcement replaced by military law enforcement, and the president of these united states(2026) bringing the armies of all nations against Jerusalem probably in favor of the muslim side of the conflict that has simmered in that region for centuries. Zech 14:2-4 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle, and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished, and half of the city shall go forth into captivity(prison), and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Yup it's called tribulation, trouble, problems, we're all going through it(John 16:33). But the great tribulation is a whole different story. True believing Christian's will be raptured up, caught up. Gone. We're not appointed to God's wrath.

Notice that God does not promise to keep us THROUGH the Tribulation. Rather, He promises to keep us FROM the hour of temptation that will come upon the whole world. The Rapture is PRIOR to the Tribulation.
Revelation 7:14 So he said to me, “These are the ones who *come out of the great tribulation*, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them. 16 They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat; 17 for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will *wipe away every tear from their eyes*.”
The Bible says "the ones who come out of the great tribulation" and it says that it all the translations. The only way you can come out is if you were in it. Why would he need to wipe away every tear from their eyes? Because they had endured persecution by the beast.
Revelation 13:7 It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.
The beast makes war with the saints. If we're gone before the Great Tribulation, who is the beast making war against?

The next question is : Is he worthy of praise then ? The final question is : Is Michael , GOD , or is he like GOD ?
Michael is created, Michael is not to be worshipped, Michael is not God...he is the protector of the nation of Israel according to Daniel. There are two other archangels...Gabriel...and Lucifer. Lucifer according to passages in the O.T. was a in charge of the worship and music...but he started to have pride and not give all the worship to God...he kept some for himself...and he was cast out as the Devil.

If you believe that Jesus Christ is the ONLY Son of God, that He died on the cross to save us from our sins, rose from the dead 3 days later, you won't have to worry about the tribulation, because His church will be raptured. Read the book of 1 Thessalonians. The rapture is there. Read the Scriptures.

And Mathew 24 and Luke 21 are 2 different discourses, they take place in 2 different places with different circumstances. In one Jesus focuses on the Gentiles and the other on the Jews.
