Great message as always. Daniel is such an eye opener when it comes to this world and the proud nature of its fallen kingdoms. Interesting to note the similarities of Nebuchadnezzar's / his son's empire and Babylon 2.0 ('Mystery Babylon' / the first beast of Revelation / Mother of Harlots -> Catholic Church / Papacy), which is yet to fall prior to the Coming of Christ. It too uses gold / Golden cups / paganism to worship & glorify itself above all other names. Let us heed the 3 Angel's Messages and preach the Gospel to the world, for the Lord's Kingdom is upon us, and will have no end. Babylon 2.0 and any other kingdoms which opposes the Lord's Kingdom will perish in conformance to Daniel 2.0. God bless :)

    **@Robt Clayton....
*Wasn't it Jesus Himself who said, in John 14:15-31 (KJV) of the New Testament...
"If ye love me, keep my commandments."
Looks like you have a problem with loving Jesus. Obedience is not legalism, when you obey the one you love. We don't keep God's 10 commandments Moral laws of Love, in order to be saved. We keep them because we are saved In Jesus Christ and we love and obey our Saviour who said to Keep His Commandments if we Love Him.
Evidently Jesus Loves His Father, and Didn't Jesus Say in..
    John 15:10 (KJV)
10 If ye keep my commandments , ye shall abide in my love; even as I have *kept my Father's commandments,* and abide in his love. (God's Moral 10 Commandments of Love which include the 7th Day Sabbath of the Lord Your God)
    Mark 2:27 (New Testament)
And he said unto them, The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath:
    Ecclesiastes 12:13 (KJV)
13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
    1 John 2:4
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
    Revelation 12:17
    New Heart English Bible
The serpent grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her offspring, who keep God's commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus.
    Revelation 22:14 ►KJV
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
    Psalms 111: 7-8
7The works of his hands are truth and justice; all his commandments are sure.
8They stand fast forever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.

I struggle with pride. Straying into thoughts on this world and reasons in better than others have influence or money or opportunity and I'm actually nothing. If I can't serve God Jesus with what he's given me than I'm just taking advantage and like the prodigal child spending my father's wealth he has given me on my own lusts. God help me run from pride and seek your will serving others

With all due respect the sheep hasn't been separated from the goat in any ethnic. The Jackels shall not rule, nor sit in judgment ever, nor their children or children's children. The Bible definitely speaks about a den of jackelopes.

This is a review of the first five lessons of the first quarter of 2020 Seventh-day Adventist Adult Teachers Sabbath School Bible Study Guide. The purpose is to learn why a certain King James Bible quotation was used on page 57 (page 36 of the Standard Edition) while there is a marked dominance of the usage of the New King James Version (NKJV). The numbers are as follows:
    NKJV quotations: 41.
Memory texts: 4 from the NKJV and one from the English Standard Version (ESV).
Bibles used besides the NKJV and the King James Bible: one from the ESV (for a memory text) and one from the New International Version (NIV).
Quotations that are small portions of verses that read exactly the same in the NKJV and the King James Bible: 9.
Quotations that can only be from the King James Bible: 1. Yes, that is ONE.
NOTE: there were three places where a quotation from some book quoted the King James Bible. These are not included in the above numbers. The ONLY full verse quoted from the King James Bible that could only be from the King James Bible was as follows and can be found on the first page of lesson 5:
“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.” Ezekiel 28:17 from the King James Bible.
This verse is about Lucifer who became the Devil, the Dragon and Satan. Here is that verse from the NKJV:
“‘Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you.” Ezekiel 28:17 from the NKJV.
This verse in the King James Bible is in future tense and in the NKJV it’s past tense. If you had continued reading to Ezekiel 28:18 in the NKJV you would read that Satan has already been turned to ashes; Satan is dead according to the NKJV. The other bibles used in this Sabbath School Bible Study Guide; the Christian Standard Bible, the NIV and the three Roman Catholic bibles; the ESV, the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) and Revised Standard Version (RSV) also have these verses in past tense.
Why did the NKJV, the NIV, the ESV, the NRSV and the RSV have to change this verse to past tense?

@@EricSaavy 1. I agree, Protestants need to understand that their opinion doesn't matter. It's the opinion of God that matters. That's why it's important to ask God what His Word says and means.
      2. The Bible was written for everyone including Protestants, Catholics, Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Hindus, Muslims, etc. That's why it's important to know what the real Bible is instead of accepting what one of the many fakes says.
      3. All Christians have been given authority to preach. They haven't been given the authority to twist or pervert the Holy Scriptures.
      4. I'm not worried about hell.

    @Robt Clayton...
God gives us all freedom of choice, He doesn't force us to follow or obey Him. God gave Humanity His 7th Day Sabbath that He blessed, sanctified, and made Holy at creation, whereby we are to worship and reverence the creator of heaven and earth on this special 24 hour Day. (Sunset to Sunset or Biblically from Even to Even) The Mark of the Beast crisis to come, is when Sunday the first day of the week is enforced by law forcing all to Worship on the counterfeit Sabbath of the Roman Catholic Church System (Vatican/papacy) and her daughter's that will follow Her (The Mother Church/ Roman Catholic Church System) instead of following God's 7th Day Sabbath, according to Daniel 7:23, Revelation Chapters 13,17, and 18. There are many loving people in this Church that don't know this Truth, However God is calling His people out of this Church State System of Babylonian confusion, and into His marvelous light of Truth.
Within Revelation 18: 2-5 is found the statement "Come out of her, *my people,* that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues."
Warning messages are also found in Revelation 14:6-11
    Revelation 14:12
Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
    Genesis 2:2-3 (KJV)
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
“It was the Catholic church which...has transferred this rest to Sunday in remembrance of the resurrection of our Lord. Therefore the observance of Sunday by the Protestants is an homage they pay, in spite of themselves, to the authority of the (Catholic) church.” Monsignor Louis Segur, Plain Talk About the Protestantism of Today, p. 213.
“Sunday is our mark or authority...the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of that fact.” Catholic Record of London, Ontario, September 1, 1923.
