I remember seeing this cutscene and thinking that my Wii was very modern... now I look back and realize that it is not modern anyone, it has become more than that, a Classic one, a Legend.
I remember this as a little kid when I was like “tricks. everywhere. no matter the cost.” Also me on time trials: uses all three mushrooms at the beginning of each race
I remember when I was young I would always go to my aunt's house to play this game. When this was playing, I'd always run around the house to be like Mario racing and when I tried to do those stunt jumps, I injured myself. This is how much I loved the game.

Me and my brother used to play this game all the time when we were younger and we used to always wait for this cutscene to play because to us at the time, it was the funniest crap ever. There was something so funny about Luigi getting absolutely flung by Peach.
One thing I’ve never noticed about this, Peach has her down at the start of the intro instead of when her hair is normally tied up. How the heck have I never noticed this this just now? I’ve watched this intro more times than I can count

my story as my dad said I had trouble with my hand's eye cortnation so he bought me a Wii and a game to help my hand-eye coronation and then I got Mario kart Wii I still love it to this day even if my Wii is long broken cuz I modded it I always remember this game in my heart in 2010 :) I will always remember you my good old Wii RIP my Wii 2010 - 2019 and 2020 ish

All of these have MOUNTAINS of evidence that Mario loves Luigi. As someone with a younger sister, I can safely say we have done much worse to each other than what Mario did to Luigi (For instance, my sister smacked me in the head with a pool net handle once) It's called sibling rivalry.
Whenever I play this game I never start without watching this opening intro first because it's just super exciting and it just really gets you ready for what you're about to experience.
