    Te pasó un tip que me dijeron hace muy poco: colocar el pegamento a las herramientas y accesorios en vez de la estructura (Parece una pavada pero es un gol de media cancha). Los guardabarros quedan prolijos y sin marcas de exceso. Ojo! Esto aplica para las piezas plásticas, los PH son otra cosa.
    Como siempre, me quito el sombrero y la nariz de payaso ante tan gracioso y excelente vídeo.

    Amazing video, and top-notch editing to save time stylishly!
    I've never built a tank model before (but I am accustomed to snap-fitting Bandai and Kotobukiya kits), so I can see by the amount of cement used and lack of connecting pegs in the parts that this is a level of involvement higher than what I'm used to.
    However, I really want to get myself this exact StuG for my collection! That said, is there any way to avoid completely gluing the road wheels/sprockets/idlers that can allow the tracks to roll? Or would it risk popping everything off? Also, I'd imagine the rubbery plastic in the tracks is too firm to allow smooth rolling?

    Could you please tell me how to use the PVA glue? I mean, you sad you glued the wheel temporary with PVA glue. How do you 'debond' the glue after it dries?

    • @tlw4237
      @tlw4237 Před 4 lety +1

      if you use a tiny amount it should be possible to just pull the joint apart.
      An alternative is to use blue tack instead of PVA.

  • @telescopereplicator
    @telescopereplicator Před 5 lety

    14:02 .... Sergio, you could have glued it. The jack blocks were ALWAYS painted. The same color as the rest of the tank. That way, the wood will be preserved. Bare wood rots away much quicker. Many modelers make this mistake. And the model factories. They all paint the wood in wood color, while they should simply paint the block along with the tank. It's that easy.

    Hi from Ireland,
    just wondering if you plan on being able to lift the top cupola so the gun can be seen, as there is a lot of detail there
    and it would be a shame to hide it. (maybe cut the roof to be able to lift it, might be easier)
    btw good work

      +Gerard McCabe Hi, Gerard! I already painted the interior and decided to leave all hatches open. Removing and installing the superstructure can damage the paint job, based on some tests I've made. You'll see the end result pretty soon here on my channel 🤓 Cheers from Colombia! 🇨🇴

      what is the benefit of metal parts(such as the barrel) ? i thought they were inconvenient due to the glue you need. why do people like photo edge and metal more? (sorry im not familiar with photo edge and that stuff)

    • @SergioSolo

      Perfecto, quedaré atento a tus videos, ya que me han parecido increíblemente buenos. Quisiera darte una sugerencia a modo de beneficio, en tus videos actuales, podrías, quizás, indicar en los subtítulos cuanto tiempo debe esperarse para poner distintos tipos de campas de pintura, o sea, de forma inmediata antes de secarse, pasado unos minutos, u horas o días, y adicionalmente, decirnos cómo evitar que los acrílicos al momento de usar un pincel generen "vetas" en el plástico, es decir, como "aguarlas" pero que queden bien puestas en él. Saludos, y nuevamente gracias por tus videos y comentarios.
