CARMELO BEFORE THE HATE (Mini Documentary)

- A look at the first 5 years of Carmelo Anthony's Basketball career, back when he was the #1 player in High school, the best player in College Basketball, a NCAA Champion and his early years with the Denver Nuggets when he was arguably the best talent out of the legendary 2003 NBA Draft, even better than Lebron James.
All before the NBA, Media, fans and entire Basketball world would eventually turn their back on the future Hall of Famer.
This is a Mini-Documentary style video I made with clips from other Carmelo videos, Interviews, Commercials and game footage. Hopefully it'll help counter all the popular Carmelo hate videos online and help remind young (and older) Hoop fans how great of at talent Carmelo truly is. And maybe they'll stop throwing dirt on his name.

Thanks for this mini documentary. many people writing off melo because he's getting older, forgetting the fact that he was once the best player in terms of stats in 2003. when you have your competition coming all the way to Denver to watch you play that says alot about that. he's always been a talent with the basketball since a kid. and how i know that cause before moving to maryland, be grew up watching his brothers and many other basketball players in the projects of red-hook Brooklyn. yes and i was one of them. his former neighbor.

I don’t know about the hate. Carmelo definitely was a major star and skill set is unmatched. However the league was not about to have him as the face of the league. It’s obvious who they wanted to lead that charge; Lebron. Knowing what we know now they got it right. In terms of marketing the league and being the face of the league he would have been too controversial. And what we have demanded of Lebron I’m not sure Carmelo was up to that task. Nothing against him though
