How to Defrizz Your Cosplay Wig

Wrapping up #fixitfriday with a quick tutorial on how to salvage a wig that has frizzed out of control. There’s no need to carefully trim off all the frazzled parts. Just use a flat iron to smooth them out! It might take several applications of a heated flat iron to reduce the frizz, but be patient: the end result is a wig that’s ready to style and wear once again, which is far better than having to buy a replacement wig. Before applying heat, make sure your wig is heat resistant or the iron might melt the wig fibers. I’ve salvaged a number of wigs this way and they were all just as good as new. Good luck!
