The dilution ratio for a gallon is actually 3:1 not 4:1,
32oz or product, 96 oz of deionized water. 👍
128oz (Gallon) Dilution Ratio Reference
1:1 - 128oz Divided by 2 (1+1) = 64oz
2:1 - 128oz Divided by 3 (2+1) = 42.67oz
3:1 - 128oz Divided by 4 (3+1)= 32oz
4:1 - 128oz Divided by 5 (4+1) = 25.6oz
Pat on the back of LEO first time ever watching a detailer wash the back of the spokes.👍
Right on! Yup. Leo did a great job with the demonstration! 🔥
yeah if they are visible yeah wash clean them. but thats where my ocd comes in handy. but I only do the visible part of the barrel, not the whole back of spoke.
@@josequiroz4605 Just a retired old man with way to much time on his hands.
So you use this pretty much on all wheels? It is a really good cleaner.
Great advice, Al. I personally jumped straight to brake buster with the ik foamer and I realized that it wasn't cleaning the wheels properly. I love P&S but break buster let me down. I recently switched back to a different wheel clean I stopped using a couple of years ago. Also, I'm looking to try Shine Supply wheel cleaner.
That's great that you're trying new products, sometimes it's about trial and error. Have you used wheel acid before?
@@alsautodetail years ago. What brand do you recommend now and day's?
@@tomiibarra8733 I use both of the ones stated in the video.
3d acid wheel cleaner and detailers stop acid wheel cleaner.
Shine supply wise guy is as good as it gets acid is too much for health reasons tbh
Great video if I may add on wheel acid is very dangerous to our health so handle with caution to any detailers, who aren’t familiar with it. If you get it on your skin, rinse it off immediately.
Thank you ! Great input, you're completely right ! Always wear gloves as well. 👍 I've heard of some detailers using respirators when they are spraying the acid.
Nice tip thx
Thanks for watching!
I’ve been wanting to use acid cause it makes sense. You’re cleaning brake dust. Not dirt. Have you always used it at that dilution? Cause at that dilution that is 3-1 instead of 4-1. If you have and have not had issues then I guess it really is safe. Thanks for the vid.
Thanks for the feedback! I believe it is 1:4 but I may be mistaken, I double checked online and I find that 1:4 is 32oz of product per gallon (128 oz). So 32 oz of product, 96 oz of water.
@@alsautodetail i think that means 32 oz to a whole gallon of water. The way I figure out dilution ratios is whatever ratio I’m diluting for example 4-1. Add 4 and 1 which is 5. If you’re making 1 gallon of product then divide 128 oz by and that would give you 25.6. So 25 or 26 oz and then fill the rest with water. A gallon fills 4 32 oz bottles. If you fill with 32 oz and add the rest with water that’s 3-1.
@KevinMendoza-jm5fl yeah there's mixed feedback online, so I'm not sure which one is actually correct lol. That's why I explained in the video that I put 32oz of product, the rest I fill with water (96 oz) but hey, hopefully someone reading this will benefit from the info! 📈💯💯
@@alsautodetailthanks for the video. That would be 3:1 ratio, 3 parts DI water (3 x 32 = 96), 1 part acid (1 x 32 = 32), so total volume is 128 oz.
4:1 ratio would actually be to 25.6 oz acid to 102.4 oz water
@mikeeonfiya you're right! The last time I actually used a measuring cup to fill my gallons is years ago 😅 I just marked all my gallons with a chemical "fill line" so no need for a measuring cup. But yes for anyone wondering , i use 3:1 (32oz of wheel acid, 96 oz of deionized water)
Can you drop the link of where we can purchase the wheel cleaner? there not on 3D website or Amazon
Sorry. I actually always buy them at my local detail shops. A quick Google search should show you some results. If you find a spot online. Drop the link so other detailers can know. 👍
Thank you for showing how not to do wheels looked like crap bro straight chaffa detailers is what we call you guys in the bay would be pissed to pay for that service just being straight up not hating please look at your video bro you should of looked at it before posting it I know it sounds hating but it’s not just sharing an opinion but thanks for sharing
Lmaooo 🤣🤣
How long do u let the acid sit before rinsing it off?
Spray it on all 4 wheels , as soon as you're finished spraying the 4th wheel, start rinsing off the 1st wheel that was sprayed with acid. This is how we do it.
Great video! Satisfying to watch 😅 🧼
So what chemical(s) is in the foam cannon then? More acid? Soap? Degreaser? Wheel cleaner?
Ph neutral car soap.
