- Hello There Ladies And Gentlemen. Today we are playing a brand new game stratergy game called Imperator Rome. Like all new releases, the game is a treasure trove of exploits and glitches just waiting to be used by The Spiffing Brit for your entertainment. Today I will be using a glitch in the events system of the game to show you how to create infinite population, manpower, gold and mana points. This is the latest release from the people who brought us Crusader Kings 2 and Europa Universalis 4 and Hearts of Iron 4.
This video is going to be packed with funny clips in a montage style of british humor!
If you enjoyed this then check out my other 100 stat man videos!
It is also rather similar to Robbaz , Valefisk and RT Game in style of content!
So sit back relax and enjoy this Imperator Rome challenge!

Technically they did that for any person who was an Imperator cause it was suppose to symbolize Jupiter I believe. Romans had a lot of weird traditions.

0:41 "Tomato Man"' is none other than Julius Caesar. The scene depicts his Triumph, which he was awarded for defeating the Gauls. A Triumph tradition was to paint the face of the commander red in order to imitate the red-painted face of the statue of Jupiter.
Imagine being Julius Caesar only to be called Tomato Man
The Triumph was a combination of all the triumphs for defeating the Gauls and for winning the civil war against Pompey, so that the people of Rome might view him as a liberator.
maybe it was painted with tomatoes?

The sheer number of stock images in this video makes me very happy. I see what you did there.
You know a game is broken where dozens of people BESIDES Spiff have "breaking imperator rome" videos.
Well it's a Paradox game, not surprising lol. They have some good idea's but rarely do they put the effort to make it a polished game. Instead they move on to DLC or a new project every few months.
@@JustaGuy_Gaming you know any good games like this?
@@brendanmartin4489 As in they have exploits? Any paradox game really. You have City Skylines, Surviving Mars, Hearts of Iron etc.
If you mean war simulator I was always fond of Civilizations, Romancing the 3 kingdoms games among many others.
my bad I should have been more specific with what I was asking. But yeah War simulators are what I'm for they very fun! Thanks I appreciate the recommendations I will check them out! will they run on a basic HP laptop for I do not have a nice computer not sure about the specs only use for it was for school
If you don't have a dedicated graphics card you might have some trouble with the newer games but anything old should be fine, and fairly cheap. GoG has quite a few of them for a few bucks or less, and given they were made in 2010 or earlier they run on almost anything.
Paradox should hire you as a tester, that is an epic glitch. Congratz on your finding!

Ah, yes. The power of tea returns!!!
... why does Paradox (or legitimately any RTS, city/civ building, business tycoon game developer) just not actually hire Spiffing Brit to play test this nonsense?
Just... give him the test build, let him roam free, and then wait for him to get back to you at how exactly he broke absolutely *everything* and let him show you exactly where you should fix it.
Paradox hired a streamer who exploited EU4 in the original build and he is now the Game Director for EU4.
In paradox's case I don't really think they care. They have great idea's but their coding and game design is a bit suspect. That and they seem to publish several games a year, with a relatively small studio. I love what they put out but it always seems like games are released broken with very little content and instead of fixing it they move on to new projects or DLC for the game. DLC that often is more about making the base game feature complete, instead of actually building upon a complete game.
One of the biggest examples I've played is Surviving Mars. The base game of that was so empty and it took several DLC's and a few mods to make it a decent game imo.
A lot of game companies only test whether functionality works, not whether it can be exploited. The testing budget is not big enough to actually produce a good game.
My favorite part was the reveal of Grannia-Opolis. Thanks for the laughs.
Oh no... Norwegians are the 3rd biggest coffee drinkers in the world! *What have you done?*

I like to imagine that the overnight population boom in Grania was like in an Elder Scrolls game where you use console commands to spawn 10,000 of an object and the physics engine just goes bonkers as everything clips into everything else and gets launched into the air across several acres. Just thousands of ancient Swedes exploding out of a space the size of a telephone booth and raining down on the countryside.
Sometimes I wonder how you find these exploits?
But I feel like if you told me you would have to kill me...

Yeah as much as I like supporting CZcamsrs I like, the ad avalanche is getting annoying. Pre roll ads (some so short you don't even know what product is being sold before it's over), mid roll ads, pop ups and more. Oh and actual product sponsorships, channel plugging, patreon, subscribe etc. Spiff at least makes his shameless plugs funny but at some point video's are more advertisement than content, especially those under 10 minutes long.
Spiff made this entire channel just so that he could cheese reality to generate U N L I M I T E D T E A through the P.O. Box exploit.

>Plays game about Rome

In all fairness there aren't too many photos of him around.
@@stamasd8500 only 10million photos of his anatomically correct statue. yeah.
This reminds me of a game I played as Carthage where I decided to pull out all the stops and develop the city of Carthage as high as I possibly could. Lo and behold it didn't take me all that long to realize that it was possible to get an infinite population cap if you invested in the provincial infrastructure thing that increases the population limit of aqueducts by 2.5% per. Stack enough of those and you'll reach a point where building an aqueduct, which requires 10 population in the city for any building, yields 10 or more population limit. Suddenly the population that can fit in that city is unbounded as you can just keep building more aqueducts to your hearts content. Using the historical max population of the city of Rome and my game's city of Rome to compare it to, I had built up the city of Carthage to over 5 million people with each of its suburbs having over 1 million people each. This is bigger than the city of Beijing until the 20th century (1935ish or somewhere in the late 1950s), bigger than Shanghai until 1950ish, and bigger than any other historical city of its time by a factor of 5 or more.
Carthage was producing so many dyes that I saturated the world's dyes market and still had more that I was willing to export but nobody actually wanted any.
Congrats on resolving the issue with channel. Watermarks were making it better actually )) And, thanks for breaking the game.

Welcome back Spiff. If you weren't joking about the Tomatoman you can get a rundown in from the Historia Civilis video about Roman Triumphs.
I:R is the worst paradox in recent memory honestly. 61% reviews on steam are negative, of course. Quite sad as I'll admit I expected very little and was still disappointed :(
62% now!
Personally I can't even start the game from its own built in launcher, and I'm not alone.
It's a paradox game. I knew before it was even announced that it's best to leave it a month or 2 after release before even bothering to look at it. By that time it should be pretty solid.
@@korenn9381 Honestly? Other paradox games I played at launch were much better than I:R. I scaled my expectations so low they were underground. It's not like Im unfamiliar with paradox games.
If anything, It will take a year or three for the game to get to ok or good. The paradox community also quite dislikes the game if steam reviews are anything to go by. And we all know the majority of people that would buy a grand strategy game, or even a strategy game, would be paradox fans who are used to this sort of thing. Heck I'd imagine over 95% to 99% of sales are due to folk who play paradox titles. So people are used to it, but still shit on the game for being awful. The base game isn't lacking: Its bad.
@@DivinityOfBLaze I've been burned by 3 paradox games on launch, I love their games but they just aren't capable of (or don't care to) doing proper QA before launch. So I've just taken that as a fact and compensate for it ;)
@@korenn9381 Strange, I wasnt burned by CK2, hoi4 or eu4 at least. HoI4 was the worst of the bunch at launch but the base was good enough and the game was fun enough to show potential so no complaints there.
While I:R is just extremely boring. It does remind me of launch Vic2 which was complete and utter trash but became god tier with DLC. So its not unheard of for trash to become gold.
