I'll never feel the same way about Ewan. He's a cheater, on his wife and his children, so cruel to do that to them. So selfish. I never thought he was that selfish, but clearly he is. I'm glad his children are ok, though, because I know they went through a really hard time with their parents.

Anyone else here find it interesting that she is getting acting gigs based on her relationship with Ewan? First "Birds of Prey" and now the "Asohka" series? I'm sure they care for one another, but I'm sure his connections definitely were a consideration for her decision to leave her former husband and take up with McGregor. He's still in his daughters' lives, though. If they've forgiven him, then who are we as outsiders to pass judgment? None of us actually know that he had a happy marriage with Eve. I believe that Ewan is a good person. My gut feeling is that he's trying to find someone who truly loves him. Time will tell if Mary is actually that person. The ironic thing is that Ewan's Star Wars co-star, Hayden, radiates more love and affection towards Ewan in all their interactions than I've ever sensed from Ewan's past/current partners.

They were both so young when they got with their ex-spouses. who you are when you're a teen and in your early 20s is vastly different to who you are in your late 40s and mid 30s. especially Mary, i can not imagine being with some the guy i dated at 18, i didn't know anything about myself back then. one of the many reasons why i don't think people should get married until they're in their 30s, you're way too impressionable in your 20s to form individual personalities separate from your spouse. my parents got married young and now they're miserable together now in their retirement. only reason they don't divorce is because of the financial loss from it, i feel bad that my parents have to live like this.

I bet everyone who commented against Ewan has never been divorced. I used to judge harshly until I divorced after almost 20 years of marriage. Believe me, it’s over WAY before you actually split up. If you are lucky enough to meet someone and have that spark and love together, sometimes you just have to take that leap. Many people are emotionally starving for years in a marriage that seems great from the outside. Divorce is horrible for all involved, but hearts do heal and nobody is perfect. Don’t judge because you might be the next to divorce…I never thought I would.

So you cheat on your wife and find yourself someone younger, whatever. What I don't understand is how you just move on from the children. They are literally part of you. They are your responsibility. How do you just move on and pretend they are no longer part of your life? Ewan McGregor or Joe Blow down the street, I don't understand how a parent can behave like that. That says more about the man than cheating on his wife.
As usually these days, men are being victimised for divorce. How about talking about cruelty of ex wives taking kids from father and only allowing him some minimal visiting rights?
