The king has spoken
Been waiting for your video!
Thanks a lot for another great patch analysis.
Good to see that devs eliminated rare shader compilation stutters and reduced CPU usage. This should definitely improve game smoothness. Looks like Ryzen 5000 owners can finally play this game and enjoy it.

Mir gefällt dein Content besonders gut! Schade das es in Deutschland keinen CZcamsr gibt mit so einem Content
thanks man your videos are awesome
thanks man for what you do
I have noticed better FPS stability, less stuttering and lower Cpu usage. With an 11600k on a 4070 Ti. Cpu usage still averages around 80% in relaxed areas and over 90% in action. A little better than before for sure.
More useful content, thank you!!
Thank You!
Partchh one 😂anyway love all your benchmark man🔥
How can anyone dislike such a GREAT contents like yours ❤
i did not asked for this kind of people. There are tons of them everywhere.

@@usmanalvi7870 My bad love u
The best in the world thanks 🔥🔥🔥
At least LoU is getting patches. It doesn‘t look like Im gonna play Jedi Survivor anytime soon D:
After this patch, I could able to finish the game on my 1650 max-q card. So there's certainly quite many things they have improved in optimisation.
Textures for example, medium now looks like high and it doesn't cause stutter if it runs out of vram. FPS stability is certainly improved
And I never saw cpu reaching 100% where it was constantly going 100 in previous patches. I have a i5 9300H
There are some graphical glitches tho but that's fine as I experienced a great gameplay with really good story and cherry on top graphics.
Can i play this game on my computer my specifications are Ryzen 5 1600,16 GB ram and Rx 570 4gb graphics??
@@Robiborah809yes 1080 30fps

Nice!
can we please have an updated optimized settings vid for the game , since new options in the graphics menu have been added
THANK YOU FOR THIS. EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! I DONT KNOW WHY I'M YELLING
It's still absurdly high CPU usage but atleast it's a bit better now. I have finally downloaded this game now as I feel it can run locked 30fps smoothly now on my 1660Ti and R5 3600X on high settings (with fsr as you said it's better looking than native)
30fps is unplayable to me now in todays era. But it’s good for you I’m coming from a 1660 and i5 9400f to a Ryzen 5700x and RX 6750 XT and good now for a the next 2 years at least.
If you have a g-sync/freesync monitor, I would say take optimized settings from this guy, cap framerate to max 60fps. Or at least lock it to the 40.
@@ysnyldrm73 yeah actually I don't have one that's why I think capping to 30 is fine. I don't mind 30fps in slow paced titles.
@@ashank9856 If you have a high refresh rate monitor you can set its refresh rate to 120 hz and lock the game to 40 fps (40 feels significantly better than 30).
@@Snow.2040 sadly I don't have one, I have a 75hz panel so keeping the fps to 37 also makes the game very smooth. However the thing is I don't think my card can play TLOU at consistently 37 or 40 fps locked, but I think it can do 30 fps fine
I want to get this for Steam Deck, but I'm not sure if I should just wait for one or two more updates til it's a little bit more improved?
great contant! thank you so much
I have a Ryzen 7 6800h I don't think it's a problem but still lots of Vram usage
6+gb on medium is a lot, btw does dlss lower vram usage? if I can get
60+fps on high 1080p with dlss balanced I'd consider getting the game
as of now I don't think my 3060 laptop can handle it to the point I can enjoy it
it's weird I can get 60fps 1080p ultra dlss quality in hogwarts legacy, but you can't get a steady 60fps on medium in this game
I think it needs one last tweak
Yes, DLSS reduces vram usage
Will you create a new TLOU optimization video?
The only game that put my 11800h at 100c temps even after the update, which scared me quite a bit. I will probably wait for more patches.
Do you have a new set of recommended settings?
Need to try it again on my laptop it ran like crap before in certain sections one i can remember is the sewer section in the beginning while it’s raining. My laptops not new but still decent 10875h 2070S. It runs really good on my main system maxed out at 4k but it should with a 7950X3d 4090. I just got it installed on the ally but haven’t got to try it yet. This is one of those games I’ve bought too many times ps3, Ps4 Pro, Ps5, now PC. But im glad we are getting sony exclusives on pc now we need gow ragnarok. Also can’t wait for ratchet and clank rift apart. I wonder if a gen4 nvme will be required or maybe just a sata ssd.
What fps are you getting on your new PC? I got a 4090 but still only 16gb of RAM for now so I wonder if that's going to be a must to enjoy it.
Idk what those patch notes are talking about, as someone with an i5 11400 im still getting insanely high cpu usage and most of my performance issues are because of that. This is with the majority of cpu heavy settings turned down too btw
Thanks for making this video. I think it's now safe to try it on my Ryzen 5600X and 3060ti GPU. I'll try and let you know what kind of experience I get with the CPU.
So, did you try it? Whats the experience, is it playable? I have the same system but with 16gb of ram, idk if its going to be playable with less than 24gb of ram
@@KadrieV1 not yet I should soon
@@Halauris I tried, runs on ultra 1080p with 40-70fps, mostly stays around 60fps
@@KadrieV1 What do you get on high?
@@Halauris I didn’t try, I saw that the performance is very good on mostly ultra, so I’ve almost finished it with these settings
Just my two cents, playing on a 10400F/3070 Ti/16 Gb DDR4 RAM, all at 1440p with the Auto settings (mostly High, textures at Ultra) and DLSS Quality ON.
Game runs much smoother now. Framerate is higher (80-90 average, it's not uncommon to see up of a hundred fps), yes, and there are some drops to the upper fifties, indeed, but they are not so noticeable as before as frametime is massively better and spikes have been greatly reduced, allowing for Freesync to do a better job of handling fluctiations in framerate. I reckon this update really helps those with weaker CPU than you like myself, as it greatly reduces CPU usage, maximizing GPU usage, thus leading to better performance. Still not using GPU to its maximum sometimes in some areas, but we're getting slowly but steadily there.
As for the settings being more demanding, I've noticed game looks a lot crispier for me, so no surprise there.
P.S. @BenchmarKing we'd love an update of the optimized settings video for this game.
I have i5 11400 and rx 6600 but still have cpu usage problems in some areas it hits 90 94, but mostly it runs around 80s .
high settings . fsr quality.
I use fsr because the quality of the default looks horribly grained and blurry :')
With the reduced VRAM usage can you bump up the textures on 3060ti?
can you make a new optimization guid
Can you have an updated optimized settings for this game since there has been so many performance improvements since? Thanks
Agree
I second this please 🙏
i dont know if anyone else has this but its happened in the past 3 patches where i would have to do shader compilation and once i exit the game and launch again i'll need to do it again
Did your gpu drivers update after you exited the game? That might trigger a shader recompile
@@ScullyBrewing no, i could literally launch the game after a patch it does its thing, i exit the game, and if i launch it back up straight after it would do it, after that its fine.......i think haha oh and i do notice though when it does the compilation the first time its instantly on about 30ish percent, soooo yeah maybe it doesnt do it properly????
It's still a very high CPU usage , but i guess it's now playable for people with 3-4 years old CPUs ?
Yes, I think it should be fine.
Thumbs up
this video is about comparing version one poinch o poinch five to one poinch one poinch o
So the optimised settings largely stay the same then right? I'm on a mid range system and the only thing I've noticed is lack of frame time issues when cutscenes start
For now i would say yes , I'm planing to make another optimization guide with all the new settings they've added or will add , when they finish patching and updating the game.
@@benchmarking4386 You are a legend for that.
Have you ever thought about doing an optimization video for GTA V? it's such a popular game, and yet there are barely any good guides for performance. If yes, then I can give you a few things that can help you.
These are facts that are not immediately obvious.
-DX10.1 gives better anti-aliasing
-DX10.1 gives you slightly lower quality shadows.
-Nvidia PCSS soft shadows looks good at first glance but it's very buggy. Shadows from props pop in and out when the cascade changes.
-shader quality increases the amount of small trash on the ground like plastic bags.
Distance scaling (not the extended one) increases the amount of props that can be found on the side of the streets.
-extended distance scaling is the most effective way to increase your distance scaling because this one doesn't add random props to the side of the street and increases your draw distance by a lot.
Increasing the "extended shadow distance" MASSIVELY lowers the quality of nearby shadows.
That's all that I know. I hope you take some time to make some optimized settings for GTA V. Keep in mind it's a pretty popular games so a lot of ppl will probably watch it.
Coming across your channel is one of the best thing that's happened to me.
is it possible to play the with with 6g vram gpu's? Want to buy it on my laptop but Vram is getting more demanding lately. have the same worries with jedi survivor as well
Yes, medium 30fps
New optimization setting please.
Turning off Smart Access Memory in Adrenaline gives me a massive boost in FPS.
why avarege fps is lower than privious update?!
The game also uses less RAM for me now
Is there are still random crashes ? Or not
Finnaly playable with R5 2600
Please do outlast trials
My i7 13Th Gen. Rtx 3080 is struggling with stutters since release. Yes everything is up to date also the game is so. I formated my pc still the same. Its duo to my 16GB Ram. 16 isnt enough these days like 10GB Vram is not anymore for tripple A Games of 2023 and upcoming titles. Feels kinda bad
I have 32 GB RAM and it still stutters...
how i can download this version
guys can I play this with rtx 3050ti and I5 11400?
this game became THE LAST OF PATCH on PC.
New patch is good,my old potato PC can handle it now,not perfect but playable
High or Ultra Textures for 8GB GPU's?
High Textures is the maximum you should go for. If VRAM usage is high drop down to Medium Textures.
Can we start a gofundme or something so you can get a steam deck and do these kinds of videos for the machine?
I have a powerful CPU and a weak GPU and this game has got WORSE for me with this ver. 1.1.0 😥 Less FPS and more stuttering when pushing settings.
Sigo pensando, como Uncharted en pc no tiene tiempo de carga de shaders y se ve genial y este si, salio roto y sigue roto.... 15 min x esperar shaders me parece una absurded. ni el Jedi Survivor tarda tanto.
Runs way better on my 4090
meanwhile Jedi Survivor......... last update was a month ago which is still bad as fu !
Can't wait to upgrade to a 13900kf from my 10900k
I would not mind a 15+ minute shader compilation if the game ran well. The fact this game is still poorly optimized with a crazy shader compilation time makes no sense.
update 1.0.5 have better performance version 1.1.0 have more stutter and frame drop
Unfortunately, the game still sucks in terms of performance. Frame drops when loading shaders for new areas, crashes, high vram usage. It's just an awful port, just dreadful.
The Last Of Us Part 1 it's a Remastered, not a Remake, dude they build the game from the ground up, they did will use the old engine graphics, they even use the latest engine graphics the proprietary engine that they use in The Last Of Us Part 2 , will remain the same they use proprietary engine,. It is Look like from the Alan Wake remastered/Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1 & 2 Remastered because Alan Wake they only merged the old engine and the new Northlight Engine/IW engine but they still use the old asset from the original source.... The Last Of Us Part 1 from Graphics upgrade, they build the game from the ground up by using the new proprietary engine graphics, three's Four kinds of Remastered and remake faithful remake/unfaithful remake.

2. Resident Evil 4 remake
3. Demon Souls Remake

Unfaithful remake list

4. Far Cry 3 Classic
5. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves
6. Last Of Us Part 2 Port PS5
Remember Remastered are not included in the faithful remake because remastered are using the same engine and they did not built the game from the ground up. Merged engine with the old engine and new engine are still consider as remaster just like Alan Wake Remastered/Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1&2 Remastered and nier replicant this are the beyond remaster they are not remake
Remake and Remastered Not only is the difference, Remake is to create another to create new graphics, and Remastered is to enhance, HD Textures, HD picture quality, change engine mechanics and upgrade graphics. (a westerner who did will play the original).
PS4 Version Just the Next Gen Port
This is not creating The Last Of Us Part 1 is not a Remake it should change the engine, it is still considered Call Of Duty MW1&2 Remastered see a new engine change, The Last Of Us Part 1 is Remastered
Early 2013 to 2014 version on PS4 about The Last Of Us but it's Port not Remastered
There it has upgrade path from the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game to the PS5 remastered. The Last of Us Part I is a new game - a ground-up remastered of the original The Last of Us, rebuilt on Naughty Dog's updated PS5 engine and technology. While the port version only improved the graphics, frame rate, and resolution, The Last of Us Part I was built specifically for the PS5 and PC. This means you can expect real-time rendering, new, more realistic character models, and better graphics across the board , i don't know if you did notice or not but the face shapes but still considered as Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1&2 Remastered , face expressions , face models are different from the previous '' The Last of Us ps3 and port ps4 '' , if it weren't for a remake , it would be the same , only slighlty better graphics and fps improved but no , the port version brought The Last of Us to a much more higher scale and beautiful gameplay , i played the port version on ps4 twice (which i still have btw) and the remastered part 1 ps5 once and a second time for this gameplay , and i can assure you remastered and remake are not the same , not because it's not different Platforms PS4/PS5 but game versions .
The Last of Us Part I was released on September 2, 2022. There is has upgrade path from the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game to the PS5 remastered. The Last of Us Part I is a new game - a ground-up remastered of the original The Last of Us, rebuilt on Naughty Dog's updated PS5 engine and technology. still considered Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1&2 since the new engine is still remastered
Naughty Dog released several downloadable content additions; The Last of Us: Left Behind adds a single-player campaign following Ellie and her best friend, Riley. A port version, The Last of Us Port (The Last Of Us Remastered joke), was released for the PlayStation 4 in July 2014.[a] A remastered, The Last of Us Part I, was released in September 2022 for PlayStation 5 and in March 2023 for Windows. A sequel, The Last of Us Part II, was released in 2020.
The Last of Us Part I (right) is a remastered of The Last of Us (left), featuring revised gameplay, updated character models, and improved lighting effects, but still considered as Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1&2 Remastered from the new engine. The Last of Us Part I is a remastered of the 2013 video game The Last of Us, an action-adventure game played from a third-person perspective.
The PS5 version is The Last of Us Part 1
However, rather than another light-touch port, this was a complete remastered from the ground up designed to take advantage of the new hardware Still considered like Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 1&2 Remastered
Last of Patch
good jog. this game is still unplayable )
Same fps, which is all that counts, so for most of us, a useless patch.
