"I have a fuzzy butt and I'm going to use it!"
I need a shirt with that written on it :D :D
@@spooksie24 With a tarantula picture please. I'd 100% wear this.
Would be so cute, with a picture of a tarantula of course or noone will get it.
imagine if humans could kick butt hairs when throwing tantrums. "GO TO BED" "NO" *kicks butt hairs*
😂
I just cracked up like an absolute nutty child. Thank you for that 😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️
I had a tarantula who would kick hairs I just pulled his back two legs off. Didn’t kill him and he still got around just fine.
What, why did you pull his legs of?? I hope you meant as an accident.
@@teijaflink2226 Oh no I did it on purpose to prevent him from being aggressive
I also just rehoused my N. tripepii and I have never been so sweaty. SUCH an angry little person??
Try keeping her on a thicker layer of substrate. My N. tripepii mellowed out since I'm keeping her on 6 - 8 " of dirt for her to play in. This T gets really grumpy and defensive when she cannot hide in an underground burrow.
While rehousing my OBT for the first time this weekend, one of the rubber tips from my tongs fell off into it's new enclosure. Time I noticed this, it had webbed it up. Of all places to start its web, it had to pick the rubber. Seeing your tongs reminded me of this.
Is it weird that I'm still deathly afraid of "true spiders" but LOVE Tarantulas and am planning on getting one once I get paid again? Love the vids, Kat! And thanks for helping me discover a new hobby!
Saaame, I have a tarantula now and I'm fine with it but true spiders...... Newp.
Did you ever get one?
@@JayTee95 yep, B. Hamorii and B. Boehmei!
That's awesome! I want to get Lasiodora Parahybana
It’s still a spider.
I almost picked a Nhandu tripepii as a freebie when I was buying tarantulas a few months back, but after I researched the species and learned that they're big hair-kickers I decided that as a new tarantula keeper I should pick something more mild-mannered. They're beautiful though!
I feel itchy, watching this!
Well, it's probably just the dry winter air...
I am TERRIFIED of spiders! You’re channel is helping me a tiny, tiny bit. I really appreciate that you don’t try to scare people. It puts me more at ease that I don’t have to worry about getting a tarantula surprise every time I’m brave enough to open my eyes. Thanks
That's a feisty crab.
I wear a mask and gloves when I feed or rehouse my Nhandu Caraoensis. She was a freebie and I am so terrified of the hairs after reading that they made someone go blind >-
This is one of the many good channels were you can watch stuff you are scared of, and learn about them and understand them more without having to interact with them. 🤣. Love this channel and never knew they kicked hair until I saw this channel.
Lmao...the thing for deaf people is on this video for some reason and it said "Let's look at some Pets Piss" when you said PICS. I laughed because I'm just that childish lol
I'm so glad you posted. the reptile/tarantula channels I watch, have been kinda quiet the past few weeks. lol
@@alexisz5570 I thought the same thing as well. lol
You just helped me overcome my fear of spoooders those are in fact so cute and I am about to get myself a sweetheart T.❤️✌️ Greetings from Germany hope u had/have a great day today ❤️
As I watched, I kept saying, “Use some gloves, Girl!” 🧤 glad you got those girls re-housed tho!
Ive been watching your videos and Big Spiders aren't my favorite they actually scare me but since ive been watching you with your spiders it actually calms me down thanks
She’s so gorgeous! I’m so glad we got to see up close like that, and I’m happy she got to keep her bark. It’s obvious she likes it.
Hi, I might get a tarantula after covid-19, and yeah great video.
That's my wish as well. I really fell in love with them.
I dream of getting a Cyriocosmus elegans (as a first T) as soon as there can be expos again...
So your going to get a tarantula in 10 years cool!
You should get one now! They’re wonderful to look at and care for. I just got back into it recently. It’s a great hobby during covid!
I got my first T's because of Covid. I have just ordered my 10th T, a Cyriocosmus elegans spiderling. I started with a Caribena versicolor in May 2020 during UK lockdown and kept it going since then. Get into but like so many people warn newbies, it WILL get addictive. You have been warned.
Hi Kat. I love the way you look after your beasties. I came across your site one day & was fascinated. I thought at first you were a little weird for keeping tarantulas, but then I realized its a true hobby & has many devoted fans & keepers all over the world.I love Petko too. You both look after your animals so beautifully. I'm even learning a new language: "bolty" & "slings". I wondered why on earth babies are called slings. But I soon worked it out (because I am so intelligent!) It just takes too long to say "spiderlings" Love the Latin names of the tarantulas also, that you rattle off so easily!May all your animals stay healthy for a very long time. I live in New Zealand. We only have one venomous spider here & thats the katipo spider. It looks like a black widow with a red stripe down its back. They live in grass & logs in sand dunes. I've only seen one in museum collection. Regards, Nora.
"I'm going to wear gloves and a mask..."
Sees no gloves...
lols
Pfff I did wear a mask but I’m out of the good latex gloves bc of the pandemic 😤 😛
@@tarantulakat I was teasing for sure!!! 🤣😂 I do that shit too. Totally get it. Cleaned my dogs anal glands the other with no gloves because I was out, and the vet was booked for another month. Gotta do whatcha gotta do! Your girls are pretty btw, even if they are kicking hell spawns. 😜
Omg yess iv been waiting for more videos of her she’s my favorite! your the best!!
I just got a P. Machala! Mine doesn’t kick much hair and is pretty brave over all. However she is bolty and will attack anything that moves because it might be food.
I’ve been keeping it pretty humid in her enclosure as that’s what I’be heard to do.
Somehow for my second tarantula I got a six hundred dollar spider (around four inches) for 125 dollars.
I love the rehousing videos! theyre my favourite. I love seeing new enclosure setups and how you get them into their new homes. always supporting you kat!
She’s like “Fuck off MOM!”
Bless you!🤭 loved the rehomes your tarantulas are gorgeous
Nice one kat! Lovin your videos! Keep up the good work love from Philippines🇵🇭
I love spiders and I started giving them homes in the last year. While considering starting a CZcams to document my cute eight legged babies, I came across your videos. I am subscribed.
I have no idea if my videos will ever get the attention yours do but I just have to say I aspire to be as good as you with all of my spideys ❤
You seem to be a very wonderful human being and I’m so glad to see another female that loves spiders. I love them so so so much and I have literally cried when I saw them get stepped on because of somebody who doesn’t understand the lack of threat.
It breaks my heart how the first thing people say when seeing these eight legged creatures is “KILL IT”
Ugh. Makes me more than sad. It makes me angry.
Education is key. Spiders are not the threat people make them out to be.
Well I’ll wrap this up!!
Hope to see so much more :)
I'm always glad to see that you and Midas have become such close friends! :D :D
Thanks for this video Kat! I've been on the hunt for an enclosure for my Chinese mantis and this tarantula cribs enclosures look perfect!
"That felt sooo good" lmao
I do love your vids!
Finally your hypnoses at the end of everyone of your videos, workd ;) You are great and bless you..you know how to handle your pets.
Enjoyed the video very much Kat.
aww your spiders are so fluffy and adorable, good job rehousing them :)
Spider: smell this!
Kat: NO!
Spider: BABABOOEY
Hey Kat your spiders are gorgeous. As always love your vlogs ☺
You'll take the hairs and like it, tarantulakat!
hello great video rehouseing Kat oh and God bless you 😂😂
I do not even like spiders but find her videos fascinating lol. I can also admit that the jumping guys are pretty cute.
Of course two of my favorites of yours to see are two of your more kicky ones XP I love how purple the Pamphobeteus machala is, she is easily one of the prettiest, in my opinion. Also you Nandu tripepii is very ornery for a tarantula that looks like a giant spider teddy bear.
Great rehouse video
She looks beautiful in her new enclosure!
Hey Kat love your content and love your spiders hope you have a great day
I hate spiders of all kind BUT I love seeing people care for animals 🤍 4:25 😳
I LOVE how theres no dislikes keep up the good work Kat!
That was a hairy situation. Beautiful Tarantulas! Nice transfer even though it make me itch.
I got my first jumping spider today because of you! ❤
thinking about getting one now, they're one of my power animals
NOT THE FIRST COMMENT MAM KAT BUT WATCHING FROM PHILIPPINES AT 1:48 AM MAM KAT LOVED YOUR VIDEOS ♥️
U done a great job rehousing them I would've made a mess lol!
omg i love your sweatshirt!! where did you get that?
So far I really like those corner water dishes.
Love this channel. Who else likes the video before watching. I just no its gonna be good. Also ur so pretty. Xxxx
❤️ your videos Kat 😌 ....
I love the outro music
Gesundheit! Lol love this makes me wary about getting a tripepii though
Two beautiful species Kat, i have a nhandu tripepii, it's only a sling but it's thriving.
I know you hate rehousing difficult spiders but I love it. As it shows off their personalities.
Urticating hairs. The assbestose of the animal kingdom 😁
the Sneeeiiuuzzzee was funny !
Awesome video as always. I'm just curious however why you choose not to wear rubber gloves if the hairs are such a concern?
Tarantula Kat is the goat
Just watching this video makes me itch! Top tip I got told at college was always wear long sleeves and gloves and safety glasses
Hello from Latvia!
T Kat: I’m going to give you a nice large enclosure to be happy.
N. tripepii: So anyway, I started blasting…
Bless you
The hairy one reminded me of a friend of mine
My Fav!!❤
Have you considered wearing nitril gloves while dealing with heavy kickers? Maby some disposable overclothing?
Yeah I always wonder why people complain that they are going to get spiked by hairs but dont wear sleeves and gloves? so smart.
to clarify, I just mean random people not Kat lol
@@ZokaRuss yeah, disposable overalls cost like 10 bucks, occasionally you'll see them on sale for five bucks, I mean if it's to the point that you have to melt wax on your skin to try and get the hairs off it seems like a reasonable investment to save yourself some aggravation.
For cleaning up those extra bits of dirt using a vacuum cleaner really helps 😊 I use it on my mouse tank and it really helps getting the bedding all up! Also, completely unrelated, hamsters really love Eco Earth coconut fiber! I use it in my mouse enclosure and my girls love digging and foraging for food in it! I just separate a part of their cage of and fill in with Eco Earth. Its great enrichment for them! 💜
Mice are neat. I've always liked mice.
The first one you did was simply beautiful. That hair is seriously long and thick on her !!! OUCH!!!!!
Can't believe how late I am hear, it's 3.38am uk time and just starting to watch this episode lol
Where did you get your jacket? Its so cute 😍
Nice video! You did great! I’m starting with T’s again after 15 years. I had an adult Chilean rosehair. My boyfriend at the time gave it to me for Valentine’s Day. There wasn’t internet so I got a care book. She lived about 5 years. Idk how old she was when I got her. Times have changed! So many species! And ordering slings online! This has become a great hobby for me during COVID! I’m a early retired veterinary technician. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and forced into early retirement. I can actually care for tarantulas! Not physically demanding! So I have watched (more like binge watched) your videos! Also other tarantula videos and am excited! We used to have a reptile swap out here every month. I want to go to one! I’m hoping this year there will be some shows at least.
I feel like Kats bf -if she had one- would also give her a T for valentines day
Legend says some people are crying out in agony by seeing the amount of substrate in the Exo Terra enclosure, believing in the Religious "NEEDS MOAR SUBSTRATE" Movement.
My giant blonde has 2 settings. Skittish and ferocious
12 comment you are the best kat awesome video today you are the best keep it up 💯👍💪👍
👋 Kat awesome video 🔥💯
Itchy hand for two days!? My T Stirmi caught me with her hairs and I was itching for two weeks 😭
Love it my aphonopela seeminni is a hair kicker evertime i open my lid drives ke crazy ive had to use duck tape to remove some hairs so i feel ya. Thanks for the video i love it and im going to be getting another T which tarantula do u recommend for me 😍😍😍😍😍
Boy, she really didn't want to let go of her cork bark. "Hey, what're you doing? ... No way!" (Kicks hairs repeatedly)
o: I love your shirt!
What substrate do you recommend for fossorial? I have an M.Robustum and his burrows keep collapsing :(
Love that sweater! Please tell me where you got it!
lol ty! Hot Topic
My jumper laid another egg sac! jus like you said, 2 times kat! 🤯 I already hav lik 100 spiderlings lol
Honestly I prefer old worlds to new worlds because while old worlds might be fast defensive and have more medically significant venom, they at least don’t kick hairs lol
When spraying water how much should you put so they don’t dehydrate or over hydrate? Also do all breeds need water
Hey Kat. My first T is a Grammostola Pulchirpes. Very docile and acts like a semi fossorial. I'm debating on getting a true fossorial but there are like no fossorial for beginners lists. Infact there doesn't seem to be much on CZcams for those type of Ts unless people know specific species. Any opinions on docile fossorials?
I really hope that beautiful n tripepii isn't still in that exoterra with the mesh on top!!! eeeesh seeing that made me so nervous.
Wear gloves helps when u pick the bark up put a piece of paper cardboard in front of yr hand so she can't see yr hand slow movements then.im in Australia I got all old spicy worlds that 98% of them are always around wanting to end you lol. Maybe put a layer of gravel with mesh over it at the bottom of the enclosure then put clear or glass straws (so it doesn't show that badly)in the corners gets air flow under the gravel going up keeps the mold at bay i found out for sure 🤞👌
My LP also kicking like crazy, even though I only feeding it
It's a sad day when Kat runs out of leaf litter 🤣🤣
I remember getting OBT hairs in my throat, I questioned my life many times during that period
That’s looked so stressful 😅
Kat can you just imagine what a pissed off tarantula would say if they could speak to us. Firstl they have the personalities of a head strong Italian mostly
Can you just imagine the language?
OMG, LMAO
I knew it was tripepii. Just knew it !
My male nhandu tripepii is quite feisty sometimes it's certainly not one of the the Ts I would handle or mess with similar to lasiodora and pamphobeteus not agressive but can be very skittish
Listen to the song Tarantula by Pendulum.
Is there any smells keeping large insects?
Would have been a good production of the musical hair 2.
