Somehow people managed to give a car more character than many actual people played by real actors with facial emotions and body language at their disposal. KITT has a voice and couple of red lights and I really feel him caring about those other cars which are customized against their will. :D
That's an excellent observation.
However, consider that the car is the star, and your expectations from an inanimate object will be different.
That's called good voice acting.

The fire flame designes on K.I.T.T. looks absolutely awesome & I love it. K.I.T.T. is also one of my all-time favorite cars from TV & movies ever.

I remember watching this when i was 11. Every episode where KITT got hurt or destroyed, i was in tears! I still watch it. I think, and im not afraid to say it, im in love with KITT.❤

Film editing got a lot better throughout the seasons. It's brilliant here, I'm looking for times when I can see the stunt driver driving Kitt during the early morning robbery gone bad, when Kitt drives the two thieves around the car park.

Actually, in the season 4 shots were so heavily recycled, you could see that instantly, and no episode came close to the quality of the Knight of the Phoenix. Editing, sound engineering, scenario, were always worse than in the pilot.
@@SparrowNoblePoland I agree with you on the Pilot episode. Everything was excellent. From the look of Kitts dash and voicebox to the turbo boost stunts. They were and still are outstanding.

I believe that was Michael’s driving.
My favorite episodes were the early ones were Devon found Michael annoying. I wish they would have kept that dynamic. It worked so well- kind of like how M and Q found James Bond annoying but knew he always got the job done.
