Painting a Camp Fire on the Lake with Acrylics - Paint with Ryan

In today’s acrylic painting lesson we paint a landscape depicting a glowing fire on the lake. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint fire, a camp fire more specifically, sparks, a glow and of course how to make it all look realistic. Acrylic Paints:
Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue , Cadmium Red Medium hue, Burnt Umber, Mars Black, Titanium White
Brushes:
1” flat headed brush,
1/3" flat headed brush
1/3" filbert brush
A stiff fan brush
A liner brush
Other Materials:8X10 inch canvas, A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

My fire turned out a bit cartoonish…clearly didn’t listen to you tell me repeatedly to step back, hold the brush further back! 😂 Also opted for less crackling but I learned so much!
