- In today’s acrylic painting lesson we paint a landscape depicting a mysterious path running through a tunnel in the forest. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint trees, foliage, leaves, a road and of course how to make it all look realistic. Ultramarine Blue, Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue , Sap Green, Burnt Umber, Mars Black, Titanium White
Brushes:
1” flat headed brush,
1/3" flat headed brush
1/3" filbert brush
A soft fan brush
A stiff fan brush
A liner brush
Other Materials:8X10 inch canvas, A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

Watching You paint this has given me some pleasant flashbacks of my childhood in the Cuyahoga Falls/ Cuyahoga River & Valley areas of NE Ohio. (Imo, It's a very underrated scenic swathe of woods & winding river ~ and it's *MUCH* better now that it's not on fire! 🤭)

I wanted to add here that you just said not to feel discouraged and it almost made me cry ... a little backstory... I recently did one of your pink forest painting which was fun btw, however, it did take me about 3 days to completely say I was done. When I was still questioning my detail in the water, I asked my husband who isn't an artist what he thought and he said my painting was "good butttttttttt the water looks like a terrain map" I immediately felt so discouraged soo upset and just completely felt like a failure it did not bode well with me the entire day especially after trying for 3 days to make it look like as I envisioned it. Lo and behold I spent the next few days trying again and It got worse I began to second guess everything I tried to paint and everything became not good in my opinion, especially on a new art piece and I KNOW I CAN PAINT! Just to sum this up its nice to hear someone acknowledge art will not always look good the first time acrylic is forgiving with layers and you saying that helped me through this particular painting so thank you for your encouraging words during your lessons 😊 love your Channel

Really love your instructions. I just follow along and the paintings I do with your help turn out so good. Just a suggestion, can you something with bright colours and something on northern lights.
