- In today’s acrylic painting lesson we paint a distant cityscape depicting a snow covered street at night. This relaxing painting tutorial is completed for the most part in real time and will cover the step by step process of how to paint trees, reflections, leaves and of course how to make it all look realistic. Acrylic Paints:
Cerulean Blue, Cadmium Yellow Deep Hue, Cadmium Red Light Hue, Primary Red, Burnt Sienna, Mars Black, Titanium White
Brushes:
1” flat headed brush
1/3” Filbert Brush (medium to soft)
A stiff fan brush
Varying sized liner brushes
Other Materials: 9X12 inch canvas (I pre-painted mine black and let it dry), A small dish for water, Paper towel for excess paint

Ryan...you don't know how much you have inspired me to be a painter. I always draw and colored with colored pencils or pastels but never painted. I'm skilled in other arts as well but I started watching your videos in 2019 after I became disabled and that's when I started actually painting. 😅 And looking back at what I started to now is a huge difference. @@harryg5566 your the one who said you sold a accurate copy of his work. I think that's gross. If you were painting his painting for practice to hang on your wall to improve your own unique paintings in his style I wouldn't have said anything. Weather your poor or not it's gross to copy work for sales. That's just my opinion.

I did a painting some months ago of train tracks with street lights along it. There are stones in between the tracks and I absolutely messed them up. I think I went wrong with individually shaping them. Any tips to make it look nice?
