Lionel, I'm from Texas and you're from Florida, but I'm jealous because you have a perfect Texas accent, especially from the Central toward West Texas regions. You look like you could be in western movies. You might consider being an extra, at least. No one in, say, Fredericksburg or Hamilton or Junction, Texas would ever think you're a Floridian.

I am fixing to move to Fort Worth come January so I’ll definitely be right at home.

From Austin here. Your accent is similar to the Hamilton area, south of Fort Worth. Welcome to Texas.

Florida has more southern accents than Texas. It ain’t all Disney world and beaches

Needed this like 4 years ago. I just winged it, and all my wranglers were ripping to the knees within months. Thx ya bud!

Sidenote': I buy my wranglers 2 sizes longer than normal for a big stack, and love the look, plus with the slit leg openings looks awesome with pointed toe boots.

@@user-fz7sq2cd3gthanks for the tips! Yeah im normally a 34x32 but i find for boots a 34x34 slim bootcut fits me just right with a decent stack.

@@user-fz7sq2cd3give been wanting to try this straight leg with the cut at the bottom. What type of jean do you buy to get this look? Slim straight, slim, regular, relaxed etc...???

@@cowboybootshatsandwesternl9663 Absolutely! "Dress up" any more is a dark new pair of 13MWZs and a felt or straw hat or ball cap. And a kind of fitted western shirt (my favorite are cheap ones with pearl snaps).

I snipped a pair of my jeans that were stacking too much. But…… I just shipped the one side, the inside. This allowed the jeans to drop a touch and look better. Try snipping one side and if that doesn’t do what your looking for, you can snip the other side as well. I didn’t sew the snip and they were fine, they never tore, just the occasional fray that you can touch up.

Great video! I did this for my scrub pants (I like to wear cowboy boots in the operating room).
I put some sewing stitches at the top of the apex to make sure it didn’t separate. I ended up cutting the length about a quarter inch longer before I sewed the apex to reinforce it (that way it didn’t end up too short).

Grandma's gonna be upset when she finds out you took your jeans to someone else to sew.... 🤨 Lol just kiddin' Lionel. Not my style, I'm a young but plain old fashioned 13MWZ guy myself but I will say jeans look good like that on boots, I see a lot of guys around here doing it. Always enjoy your videos brother.

Thank you my friend I appreciate it so believe it or not these are also a 13MWZ but for some reason these ones were tighter around the opening of the legs so as you’ve seen my other 13 MWZ fit perfectly over my boots but these cuffed up a little too much but it’s i now Have 2 13MWZ jeans that has this style that I like on occasions.

I wear a size 16 wide square toes. This is a necessity when it comes to my jeans because they won't go all the way down without being cut because my boots are so wide 😂

If you use scissors and cut it in the middle it keeps it from ripping
