Hey Lionel, when you put on spurs, have you ever had to use the extra wire that I've seen some guys use that go under the boot, just before the heel that attach to the spur straps. I've seen it a few times and imagine it holds the spurs even tighter to the boot. Have you ever thought of doing a video on the different types of spurs out there? Keep up the great videos

I only wish they disclosed that their boots run small. Hondo, Fenoglio, Anderson Bean all fit my 12ee perfectly. Rujo sits somewhere strange
@@tonymarinelli7304 yes I did notice after that they are a bit tighter. I still wear a 12D in Rujo but they are not as comfortable as my Anderson Bean and horsepower, which I get in 12D. However I will say that Fenoglio and Hondo are boots that I have to get in 12.5D.

The white threading makes me not want to purchase the boots. I imagine it will look good for about 3 days. Then get dirty and look like 💩.

I have Lucchese 1883’s at 2 pairs Tony Lama Ostrich And Anderson Bean Safari Elephant I have to say comfort is Definitely ANDERSON BEAN. By a land slide. Only problem is, they are made in Mercedes, TX but are hard to find in the RGV. Go figure…

If removing your hat is important on special occasions (or for etiquette reasons), best thing to do is to bring a plastic bag and put the hat inside it so that it can be protected from stains etc. Most people would think its stupid to bring a plastic bag just for that, but hey...I own a lot of expensive Stetson hats and I dont wanna have them dirty 😖

@@JoeParker-mh4sf yes they are. I still have them and use them for exactly that purpose and the only thing I have replaced has been the heel cap. That’s the only negative part of these boots but I would strongly recommend them.

@@cowboybootshatsandwesternl9663 I was raised with proper hat etiquette so I try and be respectful but now days, it's tough because people don't respect the hat much anymore. I've had people actually take my hat off of a rack in a restaurant just to look at it. Who does that??
@@Montana-Native that would really upset me. Unfortunately nowadays with less people wearing hats nowadays there isn’t much knowledge on hat etiquette, but it’s general etiquette not to touch someone’s property without their consent. I always took my hats off at the restaurant out of respect of seating at the table but with the way things are nowadays and the lack of respect for hats, it’s better to keep it on.

Well sir, I have never gotten paid for any reviews on my channel. I did however, get to keep the holsters and belts. Given to me for 1791 gun leather and I wouldn’t recommend if I didn’t think it was good quality. I still use all of their holster on a daily basis and several days their belt. I still stand by the value and quality by 1791 gun leather. It is hard to beat. I do have several products on my channel that I reviewed and gave bad reviews. Well I have been given other products for review that I’ve given bad reviews on because they weren’t good. If it was a bad holster i would give it a bad review, but it’s a real solid product so I can’t give it a bad review to make you happy.

They have really stood up and been great boots now I just like a bit wider of a cutter toe but they are really good quality and I have taken advantage of the 50off to actually get my wife a gift for her upcoming birthday witch will be getting reviewed. I would definitely recommend you to pull the trigger on that deal.
I’m looking for a new straw because one of my buddys flattened my cheap Justin and saw these in a store, I was hoping it would be able to be shaped into a cattleman crease but that’s unfortunate that the lacquer is so thick it can’t be shaped. it still is probably my favorite budget straw I have seen yet but I’ll keep a look out for a little while longer before I pull the trigger on one of these. It’s my pleasure. If I can make a recommendation i would say a great hat to get would be an American hat co they are a bit more expensive but will last longer look better and are able to be shaped however you like. If you want the least expensive American there bangora is gonna be more expensive then those budget hats but is worth the extra little money.

Yea I would like a American hat co straw because I watched your resistiol vs American hat co video a while back and was really impressed with the quality of the American straw but unfortunately I just don’t know if I could justify shelling out another $100. I also don’t know if there are any places around me that sell American hats too so I will have to do my research but I’m thinking of the budget hats this resistol is looking like the best deal. I will definitely keep my eye out for American hat co straws though!
Wow the prices on these are amazing. I have been wanting a black cherry full quill belt for a long time. Luchesse seeks them for $330.00. Just couldn’t do it. These will do just fine for this price though.

Thank you very much. Ostrich is probably my favorite exotic hide and These boots are awesome so I’d definitely recommend them. That’s my 2 horse trailer in the background and it’s not the prettiest but does the job but I’ll get it all fixed up.

Always love watching your reviews! Had a pair of Horse Power but it was one of their cheaper models. Sizing was tricky because they use the embedded cushion leather insole, so it killed my feet and ripped off a piece of skin from my heel, eventually sold on eBay. I stick to my Hondo and Olathe rough stock series.

Good review. I bought this hat a couple of years ago. It’s held up well on fishing trips etc. I’ll wear it tonight to the rodeo as it’s still to hot for a felt. A good hat for the collection, you won’t cry if you lose it or ruin it.

Would you say the horsepower boots fit true to size? I normally wear a 13D and was only able to try on a pair that was 13EE. It was pretty comfortable, just wondering if I should go with my normal size.
@@jacksonwadsworth6593 i would definitely say horsepower fits true to size and you will definitely feel comfortable with your regular size. I wear a size 12D and there is some boots I have to go up half a size such as Fenoglio or Hondo but when it comes to Horsepower they have always been one of the most comfortable boots in my regular size 12D.

I thought you could only buy the Mexican made ones directly from Ariat. With that said, I just purchased a pair of China made boots(initially unbeknownst at the time). I did my homework after the fact. I had tried on four different pairs, and the ones i bought were the most comfortable. I like Ariat , my next pair are going to be Ostrich skin made in Mexico

I was looking at the Stetson Corral 4x. I know what you said about 4x but any thoughts on quality on that one?
Honestly, if you want any kind of quality, I would go with American over Stetson. It’ll cost you a little bit more, but you will have a much better hat and you could have it shaped, however you want. I would get an American 7x over even a 10 or 20x Stetson.
