    This was a great step by step video and I was able to save a bunch of money on the dealer install price.

    At 15:30 the red cable for the winch should go under the red power cable so you can slide the boot over the top when done

    This video contradicts every direction supplied with the winch.

    The reason you took bracken off camera it’s a almost impossible feat to get it installed.

    Do you have a video that shows how to install a wench (4500 SuperATV) on a 21 Pro XP4? Specifically, I don’t know how to connect the red wire from the Rocker Switch to the bus bar… or I guess to the Pulse plug on the Bus?

    Didn’t you use the tie down holes for the fair lead mounting bolts? Shouldn’t you use the other sets of holes inboard from those holes?

    Show the install on a Turbo. The extra rad hoses make it near impossible.

    The rear holes on my base plate don’t line up with the frame holes, less than half of the hole is aligned. How do you align since the frame is solid?

    Is this install same for turbo?

    • @TheRealRenn
      @TheRealRenn Před 5 lety

      That's what I would like to know as well. Also, I have a Sandcraft steering stabilizer with a Sandcraft winch mount plate, so I'm trying to see if this will fit as well. It would be nice if Polaris made videos for each model type insted of relying on their customers to do so. The Turbo has more crap up front, so these instructions may not be the same.

      @@TheRealRenn for real. The directions that came with the winch, show inserting winch on the passenger side and the failed wire on the driver side. Completely opposite of this video. I had to leave mount plate unbolted for wiggle room. Good luck screwing the contact to the firewall. Effing impossible. There's a reason 30 zip ties are included. When the direction only call for 2. The factory Polaris mount holes didn't line up with the frame. Had to use a rat tail file to make it work.

    I've installed these on multiple RZR's now and each time the bracket always had the holes cut wrong. Cut the camera angle crap and tell it how it is. You either have to get a long 2x4 and a sledge hammer to beat the bracket into place, or drill the holes yourself. Polaris is full of crap as advertised in their videos

    • @jzombie89

    No RZR should have a winch !!! Added weight to front end when jumping is not good.

    • @thinkscott22
      @thinkscott22 Před 4 lety

      A lot of people don't jump their RZRs. The weight addition to the machine is negligible at best. It is important to hit appropriate jumps for your machine. I believe rule of thumb is one and half the length of your machine (i.e. 10 foot machine, 15 foot ramp. 2 times size may be better) to have a clean launch and landing.

    I can remove a car engine faster and less work. Wtf...should never be like this for a machine that requires a winch. Surprised you didn't have to remove the doors and the paneling
