- well that was fun for a couple minutes lol!! I knew the tranny or axles was going to break on 3s figured it would have lasted a little longer but I have another tranny an I think I have a set of metal gears so we will be back lol

you can buy all metal 3 gear trannys off places like aliexpress or amazon for just as much as it costs to buy gears for it. their very strong and I would definitely recommend.
Already have one I just wanted to see how long the stock Gears lasted on 3s and they didn't last to long lol just did a snow run with it few days ago and first trail run! The trail run was fun. If you haven't seen them go check them out and thanks for watching!
Should come that way. Redcat has ready to run but you have to buy the battery and charger another 50 bucks. Some of seniors dont have extra money, RTR means everything to run it. I want my senior discount, also. At least 10%.

Nice job. It really cooks on 3s. I was just about to try out a 3s pack on mine but maybe I might reconsider being that mine has only been out once.
It's not stock motor it's a brushless setup with a 7700kv motor

Bummer on the spur gear, Try finding a Kevlar spur gear if you can, it will be much smoother vs a metal one.😁👍 I had to do the same thing with my old Wltoys 10428 when I switched out to the Vxl setup, The Vxl kept turning my spur gears into butter 😂 I found a Team Losi Kevlar spur gear that fits it, and it's been problem free ever since.
Your Different size tires front & rear; that also effects your gear ratios 😕
"Big tires on the back, and smaller tires on the front" Means that your axles are spinning at different speeds,🤔😕 the front tires will be spinning slower than the back tires, And that could lead to more damage if you're not careful, it should be fine on loose ground, But on a High Traction surface watch out... that combo could be dangerous.😕👍

Thanks for checking out the video it is a lot of power once I got it home and tore it down I found the plastic idler gear inside the tranny had striped out put all metal gears back in and has been fine ever since the bigger tires in the back versus the small ones in the front is ok yes the back will have more top speed an the front will have more acceleration which is ok won't hurt it if you see a real mud buggy they are set up the same this is what I want the paddle tires for

Oh yes this has a brushless setup castle sidewinder 4 esc and a castle 7700kv motor think I stripped out the idler gear in the transmission I put metal gears in after this run haven't had any issues since with the tranny

Lol stock axles wouldn't last one pull on 8s I do have something I'm working on won't be a 10th scale it will be a 1/8 scale mud truggy that will be 8s capable that will be in the spring hopefully as long as everything goes well

No it is the castle sidewinder 4 esc and a castle 7700kv motor stock spur gear and a 17t pinion stock axles tranny and driveshafts the esc I got is not sensored but the motor is

I have a castle sidewinder 4 esc and a 7700kv castle creations motor the motor is censored but the esc is not I run it on 3s it is fun can pull wheelies with it

I have the castle sidewinder 4 esc with a castle 7700kv motor with a 18t pinion and the stock 87t spur gear stock Everest 10 tranny with metal gears and stock axles and driveshafts
On that run it still had stock plastic gears in the tranny switched them after that run

The esc didn't come with a battery plug I had to put one on it

Yes it is I want to to wider axles in and I need a sway bar for sure I think the stock axles for the rift would work fine in it
What size motor and transmission is in your truck I've seen lot's of videos on the Redcat and you're is the fastest iv seen so far
This has a brushless setup castle sidewinder 4 esc and a castle creations 7700kv motor and that's all on the stock transmission and axles I have broken stuff it's definitely not a crawler anymore it's a fun mud truck tho
