Somehow I find Doha’s routing making much more sense than that of Dubai
Dohas metro is definitely better than Dubai’s by a long shot, then again it had to be because of the World Cup
You can’t have a trash metro system like Dubai when hundreds of thousands of fans are visiting the city
Dubai's metro routes make sense when you look at satellite images from 2005. It just hasn't kept up with urban sprawl or growth since 2008
@@willpeden6055 still far better than american cities
Doha is better for the people who has family , conservative and wanna stay here
Dubai is better if you wanna have fun alone for few months and go back after that to your original country
Anything makes more sense than Dubai
Doha literally opened up a Metro System in like 3 years!
Slave labour can get you a lot these days.
To be fair India and China are quicker
@@bababababababa6124 yea
Well if money is no object in an authoritarian state then you can achieve great things 😏
@@Rjgxxx yeah unlike murica the great when white conservatives are shooting people left and right. So much for a free country
As much as I don’t support Qatar, this is a pretty decent metro, definitely better than Dubais
Although I don’t get why they didn’t extend the green or red lines to the Al Janoub and Al Thumama stadiums
Maybe they had no time. Even this is super impresive in such a short time
@@ado6693 true, it is impressive the work they’ve done (even though they allegedly used underpaid migrant workers from South Asia)
Even then though China and India can construct metros faster, but for a small country it’s impressive
I support Qatar 100%
Because there isn’t enough debsiry
@@mlgdigimon I’m sorry for you
This shows how fast Doha builds their stuff, they’re metro started in 2019 but we’re able to already do 3 lines, and Warsaw is only able to do 2 lines even tho it started in the 90s
Main reason of fast building is using migrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh for building stadiums and metro, while European countries usually build infrastructure slower due of ban of using working migrants as slaves
@@trollface5084 yes everyone who comes to Doha is a slave, I wonder why they keep coming here they must like being slaves............................ /s
Thats nothing, Budapest was the 2nd European city to build metros after london and we still only have 4 lines
China has built 20 lines in 10 years
Thanks for keeping the stations names for the whole video
Great video quality! You're getting better and better!
Liked and subbed. The progress has been amazing.
Proud of how fast Qatar grew their metro system, and as an Arab if I had to decide one country to go to in the Arab World, it would be Qatar (My home country, Syria, is in a civil war so I wouldn't choose it because its not that safe, but I would like to visit it every few months.)
Nice!!! Pls make video Evolution Of Athens Metro 🙏🙏🙏❤️
Great video. Can you do MBTA in Boston?
Your videos are really great👍 I love watching them. Every transit system has its interesting things.
Suggestions:
Barcelona
Istanbul
Seoul(remake+future plans)
Tehran
Mumbai(future plans)
Kuala Lumpur
Budapest
Saint Petersburg
Munich
some nice suggestions, I would just add Copenhagen, Helsinki and Moscow(Future plans) to it
You should've included the tram systems as well
Thank you for showing the Stadiums in Qatar.
Wow, kudos on the metro. Are most of those stadiums temporary buildings for the world cup?! Seems like most would be surplus to requirements after the tournament ends? Are they going to be converted into something else?
Stadium 974 is the only temporary stadium. The others will have their capacities sightly reduced but are permanent. Part of Qatar vision to become a sporting hub.
Aside from the vanity project though, seems unlikely that a country of 3 million people is going to find a way to use 7 large stadiums consistently
@@pingu255 Qatar runs on oil money, so the sultans... or lords, couldn't care less of the profitability of these venues. For them the costs were minimal because *S - L - A - V - E* labor
@@MarloSoBalJr renting football venues as training grounds is very profitable, especially when dealing with the giant clubs.
Do the Porto metro system! Love the vids!
Excelent video 😀
Hi, your videos getting more amazing. Here's small gift for Metro Liner Channel. By the way, please create Jakarta MRT networks (current network, under construction, and future with planned network), it also first operated on March 2019. Many interesting stories behind construction. Thanks!
Bro gave 10 grand 💀
@@Dorian102 Google says its 0.68 american dollars for you most likely you are american because who the heck says grand
@@Dorian102 under a dollar it is
Qatar city planning is kind of oasis in the desert, they successfully avoid dumb failures of other rich petroleum country in the gulf, it's metro area is makes more sense.
I hope they will continue creating new satellite city like Lusail and Al-Wakrah and providing great public transport to it rather than expanding the suburbs around Doha like the way other Gulf countries does.
Great video, I love discovering new subway systems! I just want to remind that hundreds of people treated like slaves died to build this subway
no one died building the subway. qatar rail made a whole video showing the great treatment of the workers when building it. stop listening to lying western propaganda and stop getting brainwashed
you should’ve shown the future phases of the metro as it’s really big especially with the new blue line and gold and green branches. but good video
You don't think it will be like Dubai and not bother expanding after the initial phase?
@@willpeden6055maybe, but there's definitely demand for the metro, a lot of ppl use it bcs it's cheap and frankly it does reach most parts of doha
I have seen the launch of all 3 lines. When redline was launched they started feeder bus free of cost to pick and drop people to and from nearest metro station
make Budapest next, pls
impressive
Can you do Perth, Australia next as it’s my home city
What did you use to animate this?
what are the software & tools you use to create this video?
pls a video for metro barcelona
What they built more in 3 years than my city built in like 20!!
Granted, slave labor gives you increased benefits to spend less
What city?
Wow
Can y’all pls make Bangkok Metro 1999 to 2030?
Hi, your videos getting more amazing. By the way, please create Jakarta MRT networks (current network, under construction, and future with planned network), it also first operated on March 2019. Many interesting stories behind construction. Thanks
But do you really think that the World Cup this year will help improve Doha and the population of Doha. I understand that Qatar and other countries in the Middle East have so much money to use because of oil extract and the growth of those countries. Still good to see more lines to be built and extended.
Can you do Washington DC’s WMATA next?
Please make a video of Barcelona's metro
Bro do Washington DC metro next
Can you do one of these with Chicago Metra?
can you do a video about dubai metro?
Doha Metro
Red Line 2019
Gold Line 2019
Green Line 2019
Very good ! Why not make the evolution of the Bangkok metro?
Totally agree with you!
In addition, the Bangkok metro has a future full of extensions!
They have built more in 3 years than NYC in the Past 30 years.
Can u do manila train station evolution?
top
remake paris metro with the "grand paris" project please
Do you live in Toronto?
Can you make Istanbul's metro map?
Why why to put opening of stadiums in a rail transit map???
Thanks for the video! Btw what country do you support? I supported France since 2016 🇫🇷
Not france.
@@pieterwatson611 Then which country?
@@dimensionalanimations Actually nobody, but i don't like France. BTW, you gave yourself a like. Embarrassment...

Is there anywhere I could suggest an idea for a video?
Amigo faz um vídeo das linhas de metrô de São Paulo 🇧🇷
Again asking for Evo. Of Tbilisi Metro
Is this the city with the most stadiums in the world?
Most useless venues in the world. Probably turn it into a slavery camp for the unpaid workers
When is next to Budapest? because it is the first underground on the European mainland, and the world's third oldest underground. It is already planning line for future in 2040.
Stockholm Please ❤
İstanbul'da gelsin 🇹🇷
Un verdadero golazo sería si la línea verde se extendiera al menos más al sur hasta el Estadio Al Thumama inaugurándose en mitad del mundial.
PD: No me gusta el futbol.
Why do they even host the world cup. At least they are getting public transportation.
Corruption, and vanity projects by the rulers
Can you NYC Subway 1969-2025
*Please make Budapest metro evolution*
Mettrro
Why does Doha open so many stadiums?
Hosting the football (soccer) world cup.
Qatar is a small country only 3 million people , and they only had 1 football stadium before the world cup. This is why it is so silly the tournament is in Qatar. They had to build all the other ones since 2010 to host it
@@pingu255 true, what are they doing with these stadiums when the tournament is over? I fear that they’ll just end up worse than Brazils abandoned stadiums
@@bababababababa6124 yep that will probably happen. Only 1 of the stadiums will be dismantled. The rest are permanent. Qatar wants to be a sporting hub in the middle East. I doubt this will work out well. The stadiums will be another monument to the stupidity of absolute rulers
That video needs a dead workers counter
