Trying out the Drop Shot for Bass on Cave Run Lake- So many fish!

- Up to this day, I had never tried the drop shot rig. Slowly getting out of my comfort zone, I began using the drop shot around steep, rocky banks and structure. I was not disappointed, though I didn't catch any giants, I just KNOW this technique is going to produce quality fish for me in the future!

I love a drop shot. I use the KVD Dreamshot a lot. I like to use it in summer and winter. You can hammer some fish on it and detecting the strike is usually really easy. Great job using it.
I actually have a pack of those my buddy gave me. I just found it the other day. I can't wait til I have a fish finder to help me drop shot.

I agree with the good job on the trash I do the same thing I caught a party boat throwing their aluminum beer bottles in Cumberland a few years back tied a bunch of line I pulled out of a tree to them then waited till they were going to leave and strung them out in front of them they had to clean them out of their big motor thanks to the line lol karma.

My Hero 7 Black shuts down because of heat often recently. I read to turn off as many features as possible to help with it. I will say my hero 4 doesn't have that problem at all!
I'll look and see what I can turn off then! My hero 4's did it too, but only on triple digit days

Man I had no idea you responded. This heat is killing me. Even the bass fishing is slowing down haha. The river here is low so even there is hot and low oxygen. Next month I hope it cools.
