"Syndicate Smasher" sounds like a forgotten superhero character from the 1940s.
At least the title makes sense, unlike other movies they did.
Strangely it sounds like a porn movie title
How cool would it have been for them to find Neil Breen wandering around in that desert scene? OMG, can you imagine?
They probably did. They probably avoided him like the plague

The possible reason for everyone being a hundred and sixty-seven years old is that when you're part of the Screen Actors Guild, you have to be in a movie every so many years or you lose your membership. This movie could just literally have been made for a dozen or so actors to keep their memberships active.

As an Italian i can assure you their Italian is bad, BUT! it's common for American Italian immigrants to retain some form of broken accented Italian, so i guess in the case of the mob bosses it's realistic.
I wonder if there’s any part of Italy where people understand what “gabagool” means..
“We’re both Americans who speak English”- Kyle Hinton AKA man who pronounces ‘escape’ as ‘ekscape’ and ‘literally’ as ‘literately’.
😂😂😂
And Brian who pronounces Nu-clear as Nu-cu-ler... XD
Not everyone is a master of their own language. In fact, some people sucks at it...
That’s Americans for ya

Extra old retirement version of Expendables 😊😊
Saw that, too! There's even shots from this movie that are filmed similarly.
If Ed Wood ever got a chance to work with CG this is probably what it would've looked like...
omg, y'all HAVE to do The Bed that Eats. I have to see your reactions to that. X'D
Excuse me good sir or madam but I believe the full title of that MASTERPIECE is: Deathbed: The Bed That Eats. Please give that piece of art the respect it deserves!

Yeah, Laurens Landon.
It's a shame that when there's a single, vital witness against organized crime figures, the police don't get any statements in advance or offer the witness any protection. It must be very frustrating when the murderers murder someone.
From my understanding about illegal mercenaries, not the big legit mercenary companies like Blackwater, but the independent little guy, they get supplied their weapons in the country that hires them and when their operations are over they naturally give the weapons back to the government supplying them and go back home. That's probably why the mercs in this film had to go "gun shopping". Just an FYI since you guys were questioning it. I learned alot about it from the author Frederick Forsyth in his novel "The Dogs of War" for which he did an enormous amount of research and contacted some shady mofos to get the details right.
The sniper at 9:02 just shot a man in the head with a Barrett .50 cal sniper rifle. His head should be gone. Also, those suppressors are realistic. I'm not sure what type they are, but I've definitely seen suppressors like that before.
"I'm gonna turn everything above your neck into a fine red mist!" - Sniper, TF2. Seems like an accurate and appropriate quote. Kinda wondering if it is.
Holy cow! They put the surgeon guy in CP 2077. He says the same lines.
That just blew my mind! I kept wondering why that quest seemed odd, and it was a fucking reference to the Office the whole time!!
I love Fridays! GBBB always to the rescues! Time to get my waffles and enjoy. Thanks for the upload!
The Italian guys in this movie speak just like Peter Griffin "Ah Excuse Me Bappa Di Boopy"
I love how the truck mounted M2 machine gun at the beginning is ejecting shell casings while he's firing, but the ammo belt is not feeding ammo to the gun. You can clearly see the ammo belt sitting still in the box. Expected in low budget movies. Who's gonna notice right? :P
Especially since it look like a grandpa trying to pretend the gun has recoil.
My favourite all stunt people movie is Bangkok Knockout
24:28 Is it just me, or does that blood splatter actually look fine? I don't know...any way I LOVE you guys!
Is this an "Old people make a movie to stay in S.A.G." movie?

“I survived watching The Syndicate Smasher...” lol
I just discovered not too long ago that I have a tangential connection to Mel Novak. A friend of mine has a faith-based CZcams channel called Live Like A Winner and I found out that she did a multi-part interview with Novak for her channel. You can see part one here if you're curious:
czcams.com/video/KKQTrgHctuM/video.html
Being completely honest, I love having a connection to one of these movies, however far removed it may be.
I like how the 50 caliber machine gun Novak is firing on the truck is so badly animated. They remembered to animate the muzzle flash, and the expended shell casings, but they forgot to animate the belt moving, so it makes it look so bad. I really need to see this movie.
You know, when you show the guys getting shot with the minigun at about 56:53, it just makes me think "man, these guys have no idea what that gun would do to a human body."
The thing shoots 2,000 rounds per minute at the slowest setting. Simple math tells you 2000 / 60 gives you 33 rounds per second. Even if you tapped a trigger for 1/10 of one second, thats 4 .30 caliber rifle rounds into your target.
The big brothers of those miniguns are used in the Army's C-RAM (Counter-Rockets/Artillery/Mortar) air defense systems spray lead into the air until the incoming projectile is no longer a threat.

Same with the mounted M2 machine gun. A round from that could possibly rip your chest in two pieces
Rambo? He’s more like Grandbo! Lol
That was the expendables
Yay! Ive been waiting for this with the bated breath of an elderly “Syndicate Smasher”! lol
yay!time for some tea and GBBB!you two are my 2 bffs whom i never met but love nonetheless😍
Ahh! I remember where I know Mel Novak from! In the MST3K episode "Future War" there is a credit for "Special Guest Appearence by Mel Novak" to which Mike quips "It would be a lot more special if we knew who the hell he was!" I think that may be the highlight of Mel's career.
Kyle is roasting these old people 😭😭😂
The Saruman reference at the end was laugh out loud.

Yaaaay a new episode!!!! So stoked to watch this :) keep up the awesome content!!! 82 and counting! impressive

Arthur Roberts, who plays the chief in this, is the same guy who plays Johnson at the nuclear power plant in Demolition High.
Also, he was the bad guy in Revenge of the Ninja!!
Rule of thumb for suppressors usually the larger they are the quieter they are. More space to fit more (or larger) bezels and spacers inside the tube, the more u use the more air dispersal.

And yes, you can train into watching through a scope without closing the other eye, so you can change from tele into natural view immediately...but she's not doing that.
She's crossing her left eye, so she only sees the scope (and gets a headache if she keeps it for long enough).
Drinking game on the word "amazing" 🍻🍻
I thought I commented on this one before, but I can't find my post. Anyway, just thought I'd say that I didn't think the CG in this was all that bad really. Some of the shots where body parts are blown off looked bad, but they did a good job with most of the blood splatter. I really liked that you got to see the action of the weapons. The slides moved back and shells were ejected. The flames looked good as you pointed out, and I thought the fake squibs were ok. I think the problem was there were almost NO practical effects mixed in to help them along. A few real squibs mixed in there would have worked wonders. Oh, and the leaking blood on the guy's chest was Breen levels of bad.
Take a shot everytime kyle fucks up lol
I just saw Mel Novak and had to click. That man has one of the most baffling IMDb filmographies I have ever seen.
Holy Cow, the police chief is the manager of the power plaint from Demolition High!
I remember back in the day when you would have these movies of the week using older mid-tier celebrities. I always heard they were put together to keep up the SAG health insurance for aging actors. Maybe that explains this flick?
So this just stuck me, how come you lads haven't cover any Godfrey Ho movies yet?
The levels of ninjas in bright neon clothes with headbands that haNINJA written are critically low on this channel.

You guys should do more Bad Bad movies like Hottie and the Nottie, Ghosts Can't Do It, Nukie and Movie 43
Depends on your training whether you keep both eyes open when looking through the scope. I believe in the American Military they train people to aim with both eyes open so that they can still see down range.
I AM HERE EARLY. I HAVE CLAIMED MY CROWN.
I feel bad for Joe Estevez, I bet he wanted to be as popular as his brother Martin Sheen by being in these kinds of movies lol, kinda reminds me of Gary Valentine and Kevin James.
Hey Scarface can you give "14 Cameras" on Netflix a recommendation to GB OR BB,
The Movie villain is worth the watch
@H N that's true. I forgot about that
@H N our boy is growing up and becoming famous!
@H N same. Actors like him that struggle in being in bigger or medium things deserve a shot in a spotlight. Glad he found his. Sucks for Gary Valentine though lol
@H N do you know what it's going to be called?
You guys definitely deserve WAY more subs, you guys are amazing!!! Keep up the great work.
Yay! Always Sunny reference ☺️
Now they could work for the Chicago Mob.
Aw, where's my chocolate?
Dude takes a .50 to the head and some blood sprays out. Oh, boy-we've got a winner, here. That made me laugh almost as much as that helicopter sneaking up on those guys in Next.
Also: YOU FORGOT ABOUT THE BLOOD PREDATOR FLAMETHROWER!
This movie should really be set in the Vampire Assassin universe.
Or Grace and Frankie
Do "14 CAMERAS" it's on Netflix
The Movie Villain is worth it.
You guys should review "Samson" from 2018. It's a swords and sandals religious movie by Pure Flix and by God it is hilariously bad, check it out!
I’m a New GenerEUROPEANtion... yeah, still working out that title 🤣
Yes, people typically only use one eye with their scope.
However, many (likely most) combat/special op snipers keep both eyes open with their scope, so they don’t lose their peripheral sight-for added situational awareness/safety.
One thing I’m actually kinda shocked about, is that they have their heads/faces in a fairly perfect position with their rifles…
Because in most movies, actors have an eye RIGHT UP to the scope-which would 100% result in a glorious black eye in real life.🤣
I'm not a professional sniper but an amateour photographer.
And yes, you can train into watching through a scope without closing the other eye, so you can change from tele into natural view immediately...but she's not doing that.
She's crossing her left eye, so she only sees the scope (and gets a headache if she keeps it for long enough).
34:41 GOT EM!
another brilliant episode! and congrats on the 15K subs! 👍
It seems like the gun fight choreography is mostly bad while the fist fights are done well. The gun fights look like Ember Days minus the gunkata(A lot of “light jog=avoiding bullets”).
Just found your channel, I've watched 3 episodes so far and I gotta ask ... does Kyle want to be there?
The Geriatrics.
46:45 he couldn't have said 'Jesus' in a more disgusted, condescending, shut-up-already way, I've been laughing hard for 5 minutes now.
Considering the average age of the actors, "The Living Dead" would have been a more apt title for this movie.
It has a oh blaze the streerts took you blaze didnt i tell you moment
Mel Novac was 74 and Laurene Landon 61 here and that's awesome. Olya Lvova was fun as Russian Girl. The film is unbelievably bad however. Like done other movies I've seen, it's also confusing. Portions are actually competent but some portions are parody level inept.
Still beats watching a Neil Breen movie or worst. There are far worst movies out there when comparing to this. Watch Time Machine I found at a yard sale and After Last Season just to name a few. 😄
@@WhyteLis21 I completely agree.
@@brianfuller7691 😊👍
I've been really enjoying watching the channel. Keep up the good work.
Was that the black guy from hot tub time machine?! In the scene about the old chinese guy killing the Yakuza boss on purpose?
Hard to take a critic serious when he's wearing a force awakens t shirt 👕
They're not "critics" but I get your point.
You guys are the best! Thank you for the content. Is it just me or does Mel Novak’s face look like Jigsaw from Punisher Warzone minus the scars?
It looks like the entire movie was run through that old age filter that everyone's using.
:In fairness to Kyle, the actress is named Laurene Landon 28:30
She was 60 when the film was released. Looks good but she definitely fits in with the geriatric theme.
Novak was born in 1942 according to IMDB so he was about 75, not 85.
55:12 This is clearly a tattoo shirt. There's an even line at his neck, so either it's a shirt or he's sun burned.
Good to see Mickey Rourke still get a role once an a while
8 believe that the Tongs are another name for the Triads or another similar organised crime group.
I can tell you with 100% certainty that snipers are trained to have both eyes open while firing...
But both eyes looking down the scope?
@@Edax_Royeaux yes Actually, you can but not everyone does it, I dont do it but a friend of mine does...
Here you go boys: 'Unspeakable' with Dennis Hopper (although it's the star and writer of the thing that steals the show). www.imdb.com/title/tt0277412/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_37
You'll thank me.
Is that Slovack from "Vampire Assassin"
Lol Mel's face straight up looks like a Michael Myers mask 😂
Dang! You aren't wrong though.
Just fyi you generally look down a scope with both eyes open if you're in a combat situation. The only time closing one eye is even remotely ok to do is if you're hunting non dangerous game.
Novak as Slovak
Can you please do 14 Cameras next. That would be awesome😁
It's sad to say but it's actually refreshing to see Mel Novak with a love interest that is age appropriate. Too often we get the likes of say, Steven Seagal or Neil Breen with a woman who is over 40 years his junior.
