The oil separator was my first mod on F150 (2019 SPORT) ingot silver. The 2nd was the tail gate opening assist! Then the rear seat latch. Then WeatherTech floor mats. Then the shorty antenna. (NOTE: Many are not aware the dual purpose of the stock antenna. It protrudes slightly above the cab of the truck to indicate maximum safe height. If you bump the stock antenna, your overhead clearance is too short!!!) Then LED backup assist lights under the rear bumper. Then the light strip under the tailgate. Then (switched) wiring all the way in the back insides of the bed for 12v plug and USB ports on both sides. Then a DashCam, powered by the rearview mirror. Then finally covered the whole bed with an A.R.E. cab high shell w/ a BEDRUG. Just recently purchased a vinyl boot between cab and shell. Now I want side step rails.

2017, F-150 Lariat, 2.7 EB. First 7 Mods: laser-cut floor mats front/back (various brands - I've been impressed with Husky => W.T.), mud flaps (again, Husky => W.T.), Tint (varies on your location), Catch Can (JLT v3.0), Seat Covers - rear minimum, center console cover (various options/personal preference), rubber anti-slip truck bed mat (presuming you already have a spray-in liner)... ok 8: under back-bench-seat storage...

@@theoverdriveconsumerchanne4424 Yep! Being a white truck, it was a gotta-have in my book and was probably #9 in the sequence above... I wish I could share pics here... The latest mod was the BuiltRight rear seat latch - who knew that there was so much unused (but until now, inaccessible) space behind the rear seat-back?! Also, I am a fan of dashmats - they reduce the glare back from the dash to the windshield then back to the driver, protects your dash from U.V. and, for me, just 'softens' the view/experience overall - the "Ultimat" fits like a glove. Oh... and AVS side-window 'shades/wind deflectors'...

Passenger side was a serious PITA - finally went to local Big Box store for a 1" hex/cap screw that I was able to get started crooked but finally straightened in the hole... then painted it black with nail polish. It shouldn’t be a problem however any service department could try to deny your warranty. If It is an issue you can simply replace the factory hose and remove the can and it’s back to “factory.” It’s honestly not a big deal and well worth doing in my opinion. There are a couple things the dealership has to do to my truck under warranty as soon as a loaner is available. I will not be removing the can for the work because I believe it will not be an issue. It’s no different than adding a k&n cold air intake. I’ll let you know differently if I experience problems. However for me, it’s worth the risk to protect my engine.
