great lesson, I've been watching this video since a month every day. I loved it so much. for me it's the number one American placement practice lesson on CZcams.because I've searched the entire CZcams and found out all the other videos just 15 minutes of repeating one sound and more explaining about how the language vibration sounds happen and particularly the American accent placement works, but non of them explained each sound placement in American English and keep repeating and giving examples on it.
and that's why I will give you the best thing I have, I will keep watching this video every single day for the rest of my life because I tried to miss a day and my placement turned awful
hey Fire, thanks so much for these kinds words! I'm so glad you not only found the channel, but also found this video helpful! happy studying

Hi can you do a serie of how to sound American according to your native language, I'm a Hebrew French Speaker and need this ?🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
while I do have playlists for other languages, I don't have one for French! I don't have enough exposure with Hebrew speakers to make a good list for that language at the moment unfortunately. Will try to make one soon!
Love it! Thanks you so much!! :)))))

@@FluentAmerican Hey Geoff. Thank you so much. This news made my day :) I will not squander such a brilliant opportunity and will send you a message asap.

@@FluentAmerican THANK YOU SO MUCH
You have created this video for daily practice. I use this video to practice these major vowel sounds every day. Do you think that if I practice with this video these vowel sounds will be ideal for me? Thanks coach.
I designed it with daily/regular practice in mind; I think it would be helpful
I dont'know, I think I might be too tense cause it felt like something was pressing against my chest during this exercise.Strangely enough I could say the ae vowel much easier, even if it doesn't exist in my native language, but I was struggling with the ones that do exist like the oo sound for example.Thank you for making these types of videos!
thank YOU! I also believe a lot of my students have similar experiences, where the vowels that exist in your first language can actually become the most difficult. If you feel pressure in your chest, that could be a sign you're still a bit tense (though that's great you are getting the actual placement lower)
Keep going 😊
I will! you do the same!
Great lesson, Do you have more exercises like this one? Thanks... (Do you've more exercises like this one? If I shorten it this way it would be wrong, right?)
Hi Richard, thanks so much for writing!
If you're looking for placement, you may enjoy this video: czcams.com/video/5nR7Kv2qdHs/video.html It has some comparisons with nonnative placement vs native towards the end

And you are right; you cannot just say "Do you've" for "do you have"!
Where do you need to feel pressure and vibration? throat only or upper chest and or tummy as well? thank you
you want to make sure you're engaging your diaphragm as you speak to ensure breath is flowing; we introduce some breath concepts here: czcams.com/video/wXW4Wvyrz6g/video.html
I am struggling to follow these videos because I don't have the same voice range as you. I'm a male and I have to try hard and strain my throat reaching those low notes. I hate my voice.
Hi Justin! It's hard knowing exactly what is happening without hearing you (we're doing a livestream where you can send audio in about an hour)!
Do keep an mind what is low for me is not the same for everybody--you might have a higher register and that is fine! Everyone's biology is different. The key is doing what feels relatively lower for YOUR body. It should never feel like a strain. It could also be a sign that not enough air is passing through your throat
@@FluentAmerican Thanks a lot. I now get what you're saying. I realized I didn't have to shadow your voice. I just need to keep my normal speaking range and bring my placement down. I'll try to catch the livestream. Thanks!
exactly! so glad you could join us; thanks for being willing to send an audio file; looking forward to seeing you around the channel!
Sir, i would like to join your telegram channel but I am not sure if it is what i need. Could i join it for like 12 or 24 hours please to see if it works for me?
Thank you
