Instead of having different time zones, why can't we have different office / working times for different zones , based on day light !! No need of time zones for India.
😒
Wah kya baat kahi hai. Work from home ka naam suna hai sir aapne?
But still it does not change the fact that Assam has to see sunrise at 4 AM and gujrat sees on 6 AM
Let’s do that way
All offices in Mumbai Delhi and all western states start their work office at 7 so that they can catch up with eastern states and school starts at 6 AM.
Because eastern states would be up already since 4 AM
Time zone were created based off sunrise and sunset so that everyone’s morning start correct
Coordination between offices / companies becomes an issue. Same reason why working with a US company (too extreme of an example) will result in nights of wake up time because they operate on that time.
thanks for bringing this up .. people need to be aware
Lovely eye opener of something i always wondered about
The Topic is very very interesting.
The Video's explaining process, Creativity is next level.
Enjoyed & learnt something new
Great deep detail video nice work👍✌️
Hearing it for the first time... "loss due to time zone..."
it was really interesting and Amazing...
#perspective
Explained beautifully
Amazing video, extremely useful one, things may not change though
Awesome bhai. Thanks for making
Amazing video. So informative ❤❤
Very informative video. You are brilliant sir.
# perspectives
Excellent..
I have seen in Andamans , offices are working from 8a.m to 3 p.m. There is no need to have different time 😢.
There should be more #perspective videos like this. Gives us good understanding economic productivity. Could you make a case study on internet pollution and it's impact on climate and economy.
Very well explained, I live in Mumbai and one of my friend lives in Guwahati, Assam we were having a video call around 6pm and it was sunny and bright in Mumbai and pitch dark in Guwahati which felt crazy. They are loosing a lot on daylight and India should implement a 2nd time zone for East India.
This is a very new concept and I loved how you linked the time zone to human productivity.
Just a query, it would be good, if you could elaborate as to how you got numbers of 29k crores and others.
Thank You
The way you guys present the content is really commendable. This is the only channel where I do not fast forward or watch at a increased speed. You guys are awesome.
This is the best comment I have read in a while. Thank you, glad you’re liking the videos ❤

Good video. Please tell us about panchang calculation with respect to timezones
Awesome video. I was just talking to some one yesterday on this and today i see this video. Wow. Imagine we can save 26k crores qnd this can sponsor all the pensions of MLA and MPs. 😊
Fantastic
Curious about this.. It is my understanding that having one time zone, and having all people work in sync at the same time is what benefits the transactions and prevents financial losses by time instead of having different time zones, different work hours where you have to wait for the other party to work according to their time zone to complete your transaction. Writing the comment with my current state of mind, will update and edit after I watch your video.
amazing teacher
Learned something with new #perspective
Nicely Sir 👍
Hi prateek bhai. I love the way u take ur video. superb, funny, entertaining and very importantly informative and knowledge sharing. I didn't this also. Its really good one bro. thanks and Jai hind. vandemataram and bharat mata ki jai. Kudos to u and ur team. nice work.
Thank you so much. You made my weekend :)
Interesting Video, i have learnt something new today😊👌
Awesome! That’s what we wanted :)
I agree with all your points,
Regarding Day light saving, it have big issues. It affects circadian rhythm due to sudden change in timing. Causing misjudgement and accidents and lot more issues, few countries tried to remove day light saving few years ago.
Nice video😊
0:57 😅 I really like the way of your this style of intro
Very interesting topic. Never thought about such things and you also provide the solution for it. You're bringing change in the world. Great effort 😊
Thank you so much. So glad you’re learning through our videos :)

You should also take three upfront cost if we adopt one of the two solutions you mentioned
I am from the state of Assam and here, the schools start around 7-8 and mostly end by 2-3pm(within daylight). However, the same is not true for government offices and what you mentioned is true. I am pretty used to sun rising at 5:30 am and going down around 4:30 in winter! I actually feel quite strange when I visit other parts of the country and notice daylight even at 7 pm or 8pm
i am indian living in uk- here they follow day light savings, it takes a day or two really for body to adapt with new timings. Earlier i thought it’s absurd but it’s quite useful and healthy for lifestyle
That's interesting
Not gonna all asian parents -
Wake up at 5 am no matter what 😂
pls do more
#perceptive
And day light strategy is like schools changing time in different seasons.
Makes sense
you should also talk about the social costs of having multiple timezones now after entire country is used to one time zone
Yes, makes sense
Timezone switch in this digital world is not that easy, we have to ensure all the applications are changed accordingly, Yes other countries are doing it. But it comes with a maintenance cost.
Other simple solution I can think of is, government can change working hours in those areas to start by 8am and close by 4/5pm.. 😊
#perspective
Please do more such videos
If we make our watches 6.5 hrs advance than utc instead of 5.5, this would also maximise sun usage if splits in time zone is not desired. This being so because early hours in west is not used up for productivity.
#perspective!
The better option is to adjust individual office to change work time based on seasons every 4 months once,
Hello Team, I want to buy membership. Can you please tell when you will resume buying membership?
Old 3 timezone is the right time zone which is like if in Gujarat 1:30pm that time in Madras timezone 2:00pm and in the Kolkata timezone there is 2:30pm
Which article of Indian Constitution has recognised Chaibagaan time zone?
Just to correct you that it was British who actually conceived and established the IST +05:30 UTC after the meridian conference. They also wanted to establish two time zones of standardized one hour difference, however the Half hourly timezone got prevalence. India dearly needs 2 Timezones. All over the world people sync their activities around the clock time. Ever wondered why Mumbai or Gujarat never complains of timezone. IST is more suited to western India. Eastern India suffers economically for IST. High time we change. Now what is the best option. Longer evening light is economically productive, India should go for UTC +06:00 till 90 degrees meridian east and UTC+07:00 for North East.
Banda alag soch wala hai 😊😊
@prateek, i always love to watch your videos man but i never like or commitment publicly. This video is also very much interesting and maybe government might reach out to you for new ideas to improve GDP. But I'm commenting, liking and sharing this video only for your last 20 seconds of the video.😊 #goodwishes
Sharath, your comment means the world to me. I’m glad you found this useful, nice way to start my Sunday :)
I look forward to more of your thoughts bro. Btw I love the bloopers too hahaha
Can anyone help me with that paris train concept !?
basically the solution is very simple yet hard to implent
Because if we correct the time zones and get the $600 billion generated we can eradicate world poverty and hunger and also the debt crisis,
❤
Better to start working according to sun rise

In Mumbai people still work in offices for long hours consuming electricity.
#Perspective
#perspective
Iske liye alag alag time zone banane ki kya zaroorat hai. Office and school timing different kar lo. Simple hai
#perceptive
Why don’t just change offices times instead of clock ?
#perspectibe
Having multiple time zones may have multiple benefits. But when talking about electricity and the consumption of electricity in urban India, we should consider a few things.
1. India is a hot country. So a major part of our electricity bill is for air-conditioning. So cooling a space at evening is much more efficient than the day when sun is already heating up the building. (This will be opposite in colder countries)
2. Considering how modern corporate offices, shopping malls and stores are designed the lights are always on, no matter day or night.
3. Even for cars, at evening you may turn off the AC, but during the day the AC is must.
So having multiple time zones may have other benefits, but shifting our working hours more during the day time, will add towards more cost for electricity and oil.
Check views, Power of Hindi 👍
I dont think having one timezone is the an issue. But all of us irrespective of their location having a mindset that we need to work from 9am to 6pm is an issue. How does Norway works when you have 6 months of sun.
It also alters mental ability. 3 times
At work we say IST as Indian Strechable Time😅
I watched but how are u gonna explain that china 🇨🇳 gdp is 5x of India?
What is the compulsion to work only 9 to 6?
You can say, In Assam, in Summer, our working hours are 7-30 AM to 4-30 PM. That's it. Nothing more to be done.
Why complicate things with DST and timezones?
I also thought the same
There are people who sleep and get up regardless of time, how many farmers get up with clock, which office is open from 9 to 7, and for the offices which are open 24/7 it won't make any diff. Its all in your mind and for presentation, no relation with reality, that my thought
bhai time zone change karne se accha office time change kar lo
Excellently pieced together Prateek and team 👏. So happy with the adoption of 50 % Hindi (doubles the fun and therefore the learning - for me at least) with the cherry on the cake being the inclusion of the takes before the retakes in the end.
Thanks a ton :) Yeah, we love adding the retakes 😂
Creating multiple timezones creates confusion. Instead just change the timing as per season in India.
Love u prateek ❤ I wish I could meet you in real life.
Me watching this video at night shift ...lol ..i dont think this is very necessary . because this creates unnecessary confusion ..i dont even think that nowadays offices are really used sunlight rather they are much dependent on electricity light .i never see a minister working in an office under sunlight they prefer working under AC not sunlight..
Wow.... Nice if it would have been in English though. When you talk about time zone, dont know how you forgot other regional language people. Next time make videos in English bro
No subtitles 😑
Done :)
Thanks😄
India me 2 time zone lana matlab india ko 2 group me baatne jaysa ho jayega.. iska benefit politics ekdum dhadalle se uthayenge ye samjh jao
Add subtitles...
Already done :)

😂 schools runs by sunlight. They don't use lights inside class in morning time .😂. What about night class . Close clubs 😂😂 bars
Do u mean bharat?
India, aka Bharat
Only if China won't annex the NE of India 😂.
Why??????!!
What about china? they follow single time one i.e,. Beijing time. Though western part doesn't contribute more to GDP, they're asked to follow the same.
And in India, doesn't it affect Indian railways? North eastern part following different time zone and people may get confused. pehle toh log time pe nai pahucthye 😅
But I do like day light saving idea.. suprised to see we actually followed in 60's.
France itna chota sa aur 13 time zones..papa ne script likhi thi?
People would get confused...... assuming everyone can understand and do whatever your are doing is stupid
Poor research.
29000 Cr loss is imaginary, in your head. These people need to put rest to the urge of content creation.
Hello Pratik, the world map which you are using is showing totally incorrect map of India. I don't know whether you were aware or not before making this video but that world map should be removed from video.
love his teaching. sir kindly tell me why i can not subscibe for course on your website learanpp
