Bollinger bands help determine whether prices are high or low on a relative basis.
When the bands tighten during a period of low volatility, it raises the likelihood of a sharp price move in either direction.

Bollinger bands indicate the volatility in the price. If there is a squeeze of the bands then there is low volatility, price may be going sideways. Then it is possible that after the squeeze when the bands diverge outwards, there can be a big move up or down.

He says the real thing about indicators. Indicators indicate something and rsi indicates momentum. Lose of momentum does not mean buy or sell signal. And look for divergence at two places All Time High or low and Obvious Support or Resistance levels. Great teaching. Liked it much

Bollinger bands indicate volatility. Many people study in school days by by-hearting concept of standard deviation, but the practicality of standard deviation is so useful in studying volatility. But, how do you know which one is the last divergence, i mean you may get 4/5 divergence in serial that does not work

My question - If you follow a line chart, that's plotted for closing price but verbally you are mentioning higher high. Please clarify if the high is based on closing?

Interesting suggestion but not all strategies we come across/ build are based on monthly timeframe.
