Uganda-Tanzania War Explained (1978-79)

On the 1st of November 1978, Idi Amin Dada announced that he had annexed Kagera region in Tanzania. What followed was a year-long period of tension and conflict between Uganda and Tanzania, ultimately culminating in the Uganda-Tanzania War.
