That's a lot of fun for the money. And Bullit makes some very high quality bikes using Japanese engines. Two thumbs up from me.
Great review as always! These bikes from overseas are getting better and better 👍
Cracking review. Tottally sold it to me. Ordered one in British green with bar end mirrors from stoppies in Croydon 2 weeks ago. Picking it up tomorrow. Can't wait to get it run in! Keep up the great work!
How do you like it?
Well, i might not be the only one curios. How´s the bike doing after 3 years!?
Looks a really nice bike glad you're keeping safe hopefully Malcolm will be back soon so you can get CRACKING on project bob.
I must say, it had been a while since I rode a 125... I ride a 1200 right now but recently bought the wife a Hanway Raw 125 and I’ve taken it out a few times and it’s so much fun. So manoeuvrable and light. Just right for town and country lanes. Not a patch on the 1200’s speed but it gets more smiles per hour, and that’s what it’s about really for some of us.
does the wife like it ????
@@keithbill310 she’s still yet to do her CBT :(
But I enjoy it! Haha
I'm a big fan of the scrambler type that bullit made with the hero, never too fond of the hunt but man, that sounds good! Would love to see bullit go full dirt track model with those colors!
Awesome review, awesome tests and awesome camera ang.. Sorry, watch out with those camera angles 😂 stay safe!
This was fun as hell, great video!
Nice bike. Talking of value, I bought a brand new brixton from a dealer a month ago for 1499 on the road (cafe racer version). Cheap doesn't always mean cack 👍.
I am so excited to finally have my own on Saturday. It wasn't my first choice as I really loved the Herald Brat 125 more. Hope I will love it eventually. ❤❤❤
put a deposit down on one today! thank you for the review!
Loved the video as this is one bike I am really I interested in. But I was wondering if you have any plans for a full road test in near future. Wish you all well and safe.
We will do a head to head road ride before long.
I’d love to see some more videos on the Bluroc, now that you can ride around with it!
I saw one one in my local dealers today and was impressed, so I bought it. I hope it lives up to expectations when its ready for collection.
How is it going mate, all good..?
Hi Alex.
I bought the bluroc without having a test ride.
It looked good and the lights and brakes were good however it didn't live up to expectations so after 600 miles I sold it.
Build quality poor with shocking welds, fuel tank badly fitted headlight not fitted correctly, rear wheel spokes becoming corroded, gearbox whined in 3rd and 4th gears, wheels out of alignment etc. I bought it purely for pleasure but it didn't live up to expectations so it had to go.
I have since bought a Mash Roadstar 500 which I am very happy with.
@@grahamebradford1028 thanks Grahame, excellent review.👍
Awesome video.
The bike looks great and it's a bargain!!!
Why they stop putting kickstarts on these?? I reckon this could be up there with AJS Tempest Scrambler if it did... great vid as usual 👍🏻
A speedo you can read in the sun, I find that rather useful, stay safe chaps.
Looks like a great bike! Watched a few videos from your channel and some great content. Was wondering have you ever reviewed any of the Mutts? I just bought a Mutt Mongrel and wanted to know what you thought of the 125 Mutts? Cheers and keep up the good work 👍
Still undecided been this one, a year old Mutt or even the Sinnis Bomber. Really enjoyed your honest review.
I looked at all those bikes too the bomber looks nice but the riding position dose not suit me and the one I looked at the weld on the frame was a bit naff the mutt is over priced so went for the bullit
keep up these 125 reviews, really interesting. Been taking more of an interest, because I would like to get one of these retro 125 scrambler bikes for my wife, plus a nice change for my commute to work (only 20kms each way). Lack of dealers here in Southern Germany will probably decide what we get. Mash Black Seven and Brixton BX125 seem to be available nearby here in Southern Germany. Please compare these if you get the chance. I wish Bullitt had some German dealers, but there are absolutely none :(
I would stay away from mash, brixton seems more reliable.
@@youriyimmek7767 rarely get issues with Mash...apart from them having no importer at this moment in time...
Great review
Nice review. I’ve just ordered one of these. Looking forward to it’s arrival!
Hi as you said you ordered one bullit bluroc. Can you please share it’s reviews. How did it go.
Thanks.
Akash kumar sahansar really good thanks. It’s a great little bike. 👌🏼
Alex Pollitt thank you very much for response. So I would say I’ll go ahead with this bike.
Hey how's the bike after a year? Top speed?
This will be my first bike thank you 🏍️😊
Hi did u got bluroc. If yes how is the bike. I wanted to have too. But if you give some comments on that please.
Thanks.
Second that I’m about to get one :)
Thats a cool looking little bike
Got out for first ride yesterday bike rides nice and smooth very nice riding position one thing the front indicators are not straight and I can’t get them lined up but that’s my OCD
G’day mate, I’m 5’11 and I’d like to ask, if the seat maybe could be too low for me? My legs are about 98cm long, so i don’t think that I’ll have to stand on my tiptoes to reach the ground whilst sitting on the bike, but rather the opposite. Thanks for the review!
i was impressed by its looks but i am so much more impressed by its price was thinking just short of 3k but 2n abit thats a very good price for a proper looking small motorcycle
Nice colour on this bike the yellow/ goldie really pops. Hope Malcolm is ok 😋
I've had a Bullit Hunt S for just over 3years and only done 1500 miles. Within the first week the there was no electric power, requiring upgrading to a decent fuse holder for £3. The speedo packed up and had to be replaced. The rear brake reservoir leaked and was replaced. One side of the front dampers is leaking. It's very difficult to select neutral and, sometimes jumps out of neutral into gear. A screw has come out of the new speedo face and, can't be accessed to put back, as it is a sealed unit. And now the ignition switch has packed up so, no power and, will need to be replaced.
I love the look of the bike and, when it's working, it's good to ride but, as for reliability, it's very poor. Luckily I don't rely on the bike for transport - I bought it purely for 'pleasure'. I've also got a 60 year old BSA BANTAM - never gives me trouble.
Any chance of an on the road test?:)
I like this simple and small enggine
that yellow-golden with black stripes looks great. my issue with such bikes is the mechanical reliability. i have extensively driven a bike that has a Suzuki GS 150 replica air-cooled engine and after half an hour of riding, the gearbox starts acting up (hard shifting and neutral disappears). so in that copy/pasting, something gets lost and you can feel that after few weeks/months of ownership. maybe this particular bike doesnt have any such problem, but it has been noticed in some of these replica engines at least where i live (Pakistan).
Is this motor a Suzuki GN? Can we expect a 110km/h max speed, at least (plan road)?
Hello i have 2 questions.. Is it comfortable for 2 people? And is it alright for my height 1.71cm?cheers
The only other bike I can think of in a similar vein is the Herald Rambler at £2700+OTR. Will you boys be reviewing that in a 3-way scrap with the AJS and Bullit? What a video that would be!
That may well just happen
@@motorsforthemassesczcams.com/video/zzUzLaG_Bl8/video.html
£2099 you cant knock that price, think these bikes are getting better and better
A good looking bike.and at a good price too.
Great value for a nice bike
Max speed?
What's these bikes like for taller riders
Between the 1970 and 1990 there were only 7 motorcycle manufacturers producing 125cc bikes: Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Honda, CZ, Bennelli and MZ, all of which UK bikers recognised as household names. In the 1990's this briefly increased to 8 with Cagiva, who took over CZ, went bust and sold CZ to MV Augusta.
Then came the 21st Century's Chinese 125cc motorcycle industry explosion!!
Now there are innumerable motorcycle manufacturers producing 125cc bikes, most of which nobody has heard of.
Hello I've just brought a new one of these and its only dose 45mph is there a limiter on these
The only limiter on this small power beauty is the weight of the driver. 😂 I reach 50mph with my 225 pounds. 😂
Hi, I've been looking for this model's top speed put can't seem to find it. Any idea how fast it can go ? Thanks :)
55-60, poss 65 when run in depending on your weight
Is there enough room for a passenger or will it be a tight squeeze? Quite fancy the bike in the military green/tan myself
That very much depends on the size of the rider and passenger. Yes, but to be comfortable, you should not be rotund lol
Very nice looking bike, currently debating this as my first bike once i do my CBT. Although i am a rather tall guy do you think 6"4 would be too tall for this bike and look odd or would it be ok? Cheers
I'm 6 foot 4 and thinking of this for my first bike too, after my cbt. Did you end up getting it?
@@EMolloy23 6’4” here too, how was it?
@@Matthewrollinson80 it's due for collection either today or Monday so I can get back to u on that haha
@@Matthewrollinson80 seems to be fine for my height. Noticed I may have to lift the leg up a bit to downshift or hit the rear break, other than that, no complaints here
Great videos really helpful. But now a dilemma! My first motorbike at 57, but which. AJS Tempest Scrambler 125 or the Bullit Bluroc 125 and save a couple of £100. How to decide? Any further pointers and which is most comfy for a longer ride (I'm nearly 6ft & 13.5 st). This would be my fun hobby bike but will need to have good road manners more on than off road...then again it is for fun and I do live in the South Downs... cannot even go and sit on any Agrrgh. Thanks again.
what did you go for simon?
@@stephenmcgonigal4122 Hi I went for the Bullit it just had those little extras like the comfy seat and decent seat height and digital display that tells you all you need and mph too! Lots of nice comments. Loving it. Can go off road a bit too on some gravelly green lanes if you're careful. Great little bike.
@@simonfoote3475 Glad that you are having fun and thanks for the reply! My dilemma is Bullit Bluroc or Herald Scrambler 125. What colour did you go for?
it looks like a nice bike
I like this :)
If I wanted to do some gentle off roading would I be better off with the the Bluroc, the AJS Tempest Scrambler or the Bullit Hero?
Only offroading, Hero. If both on and off road, Bluroc or Tempest, both good for it.
@@motorsforthemasses Many thanks! Love the vids.
How much does it weigh?
Any chance of you having another go on this to test it on the road?
Yes
Is it better than bullit Hero 125
Loved the ramp test..... pointless but fun 👍 Did you Mention kerb weight ? 😷
No, I actually. Good catch. Not sure right now. I am guessing around 130 kg like most 125's
You can't argue with that price but I don't think it's as nice looking as the mutt the black sabbath is a beauty
That is a good looking bike, expensive though
British green one looks better. I own one and love it. Room for a few improvements but for the price I have no complaints. All in all, I love my bike and would recommend for any new rider
Hi, I'm thinking of getting one of these as my first 125. Is it fun, reliable? Is your opinion still the same?
@nohandlefound. I backed out last minute and bought an AJS Tempest. I don't regret it for a moment.Fabulous little bike!
Anyone got any input on reliability?
Looking for my first bike and advice I am getting from some is steer clear of chinese bikes, however I really like the look of this bike and 2nd hand 125’s are like hens teeth at the moment so I am looking at buying new.
Just stumbled across this
czcams.com/video/6zi26Dudbxk/video.html
Anyone got any other links?
Top speed?
How do you compare this with the Brixton Cromwell 125? Thanks
Nice review btw ;)
I went for the Brixton cafe racer for £1600 new. I think it's a really great bike and it gets a lot of compliments from the biking community
@@drdarkfork meanwhile... I bought a Cromwell 125 and i'm loving it, cheers
@@RGrazina awesome 👍
A test on the Italian Verve Moto Classic S 125 i? It looks better and is cheaper (Atleast here in Norway). That's the bike I would choose today of all the 125's today.
They look the same....and are the same I believe
Hi, how tall are you?
Could you help? Today my bluroc started losing power. It started off mild but got worse over 30 mins. It then started cutting out. It would start OK but power would come and go. Got worse while riding home and was cutting out every time I stopped and struggled to go 10mph. Now it cuts off soon after starting up, throttle barely revs. Seems like fuel issue. Could this be the fuel injector? Only done 500 miles and recently been serviced
Hard to diagnose without seeing it. Could be a kink in the fuel line, blocked filter, injector, ECU error? Take it back to the dealer you bought it from.
@@motorsforthemasses thanks for the reply. Unfortunately I'm the second owner and the dealer is very far away. The bike won't stay running for more than a few seconds now anyway. I've heard the injector needs cleaning and apparently it's a common fault early on. I'm going to have to try and do it myself but the manual is atrocious and there's little to no information out there. I guess this is the risk when buying unknown bikes.
Hello, can we increase the seat height to 860-910 mm just like the hero ?
No, sorry
Thats the only drawback have seen thus far.
The sad thing is that bikes like Bullit , Mutt ,and some of the other you mentioned are hard as hell to find here in the States and that's if there here at all .
That is because the rules on age are so soft in USA you lucky gits. 125 on a car license and full test means you can pretty much ride what you like so I imagine the demand for 125 is just not big enough as people serious about bike will go for min 600
Nice looking bike.
Just needs a bigger engine and brakes.
Guys need help Bluroc Legend or Mash Seven? Thoughts?
Hmmm, Mash 7 simply as it is a bit quicker and a larger bike. However if you are a shorter than 5ft 10 type person, the Bluroc may be better suited.
@@motorsforthemasses decided to go with Gullit/Bluroc Legend. Just Wanted to ask do they arrive with oil or conservant that needs changing ?
Does this bike have a gear indicator?
Yes it does,if you press pause when he's showing the dash in the sun you can see it.✌️👍.
Where can I buy it for 2100?
Mine is coming tomorrow but my back is out at the moment so won’t be using it for a while 😫 looked at loads of this style of bike but it came done to this or the wk scrambler the bullit is of a better build quality
Hope your back is better before it gets too icy out there.
@@motorsforthemasses thanks hopefully won’t be long before I can start enjoying my new bike
A very cool bike! But the engine squeels and I hate that sound, some engines do and some engines do not. My own experience is that those squeeling ones they have less perfomance and it will stay that way, on a hot summer day a "squeeler" will squeel worse than ever.
Before you buy one run thru some bikes and lissen to the engine, some minor squeeling belongs but a consistent turbin wining that is not good.
Is that figure of 190cm for overall length one that you guys measured?
I ask because I need an exact figure....
I've had a look at the Bullit web page and I cant find a figure for the overall length of this bike.
I really like the retro look of it, but I need a bike that fits into a steel frame attached to the stern of a narrowboat. (Yes, now you've heard everything!)
The maximum length that will fit the bike rack is 193cm, and even that is difficult- so if the Bluroc 125 really is 190cm as you said, this could be the bike for me.
Can I ask a favour- can you confirm the overall length figure?
That was tyre edge to tyre edge, will confirm exact length tomorrow.
@@motorsforthemasses , thanks so much for your help, I really want a retro style, but almost none of them will fit the bike rack.
@@bigtoe333333 Hi, I am Ill so not in at the mo. Just had my guys measure it from one extreme tyre tip to the other. 1890mm. If you want us to supply one, we have one in stock and can ship to you, email us on info@lsmoto.co.uk and we can sort it out.

Do you really need to demonstrate the left AND right indicators?
Hey! Have you a Chance to Test a Leonart Pilder 125?
Leonard is not available in the UK and I believe what was what AJS was based on
@@motorsforthemasses There is also a Model Pilder from Regal Raptor
How many price indian rupee
Still think for the money the black Lexmoto tempest takes it.
Not sure on the exhaust
@@motorsforthemasses my son's got one it sounds ace and the look reminds me of the Triumph tr6.
At last. A cheap Chinese bike that doesn't sound like a wast trapped in a tin.. well done.. might consider this bike as a purchase
Is it possible to get aftermarket footpeg/boards for a bike this style?
I've got a Bullit but not this model. That black exhaust will rust like a 1970s British car if not cleaned and repainted often.
Blurock? Its clearly yellow...
Got one on pre-order. The Ajs has gone up in price as has this but the Ajs is £2800 now. The other alternatives for me are the Herald maverick or a Mash bike.
But am prob gonna stick to this.
Bill it bluroc 125
Keewaysr125
I hope the bike is better than Bullit's web site spelling - "displaycement".
Belgians.....or perhaps I should be saying Belgiums lol
Looks like a tiger cross.
The Garelli? Similar colour maybe...
Sure all these cheap 125 bikes are built in the same factory
I had one for 1 month and I had enough of it, it is beautiful but with the passing of days you can see that it is very Chinese. I do not recommend.
What issues did you have that were bad enough to get rid of it?
Hanway Muscle looks much much better then this.
Don’t buy one of these been a pain in my fucking ass seems good till you put some miles on it then everything goes wrong, the indicators go every month or so and just poor build quality
Brixton bx 125 is better bike
Do you have one?Problem with Brixton is complete lack of dealers
The brixton bx is more expensive, and in my opinion, €/quality, this new bullit model suits better.
