I've just returned to motorcycling after a fourty year brake & took delivery of a FB Mondial Flat track two weeks ago. Great bike very happy with it, although a bit tall for me. The lights work fantastic at night, dont miss a conventional headlamp at all. Once again a great, entertaining & informative review. Keep up the good work.
I'd go with the Flat Track but change the headlight to the HPS one...other than that is looks fantastic, much more presence than the norm for a 125. Good video, keep up the good work!
Was thinking the exact same thing!The front of the bike doesn’t look good .but yeah never seen a 125cc in this style and it looks amazing

Visually very impressive bike.
These really do seem to be superb learner machines. As I've mentioned before; if they stuffed a 500cc engine in these machines, they'd definitely attract the attention of bikers looking for a mid capacity, very cool machine.
Mondial hps 125 is probably going to be my next bike. Best looking 125 in my opinion.
IMHO you’d need the dipped beam to stay on while the high beam is on. Otherwise you’ll lose all the road from in front of you & just see (what looks like a very narrow) a beam of light up the road ahead of you?! Love the LED dash 👌🏻👍🏻

I like the Flat Track. I agree with everyone else on the head light I want others to see me just as much as I need to see them.
Re the front lights I think they are too small regardless of how bright, I would like other road users to see me coming with the traditional larger format.
the number 57 is linked the year 1957 which is a historic point in FB Mondial's racing heritage ;)
Oh right, I thought that was taken by the 1948 Pigani so never gave it a thought.
Like you ,have been waiting long time to see and hear this bike ,,loving the look but a bit disappointed with the sound ,,as you would say some fetling would have to be done , great vid again ,,
Nice looking bike. The big question is whether they've addressed all of the historical electrical issues of the hps in this new bike.

I really LIKE IT..!! I saw a red one in Poole Moto this tue and it looks really nice in the flesh. Looks like bigger bike and that's a cracking little engine if i was in the market for a 125cc I think this would be a top of list.

Liked the video enough to subscribe! I prefer the exhaust and the handlebars on the HPS but the Flat Track is one cool baby. Love that screen. Bet that headlamp would drive the cops mad. Wicked paint job on the HPS. Hope to pick up a new 125 this year and I really am spoilt for choice. Cheers.

great review, really like the flat track version with the exception of the head/full beam light set up, personally I prefer the HPS shotgun exhausts and would like to see a version with a 250cc or + engine capacity.
I like the Flat Tracker's bigger size, but I also like round headlights short front fenders.
I like the Idea of having two 19 inch wheels. But that engine blew up under me yesterday with not even 2000 km on the clock. Fortunately its not my bike and I only got it from my dealer until my SV650 has its service done. But that is the first time something like that happened to me on a motorcycle and its not a pleasent experience. I heared not many good things about Aprilia Engines, when it comes to reliability. Now I got a KTM Duke 125 as a replacement. Hope its gonna do better.

If only it was at least 200cc I would be very interested in it just to have a bit more power on motorways but I do like the look of it must say.
The hps has a 300cc variant so the flat track 300 will likely be around the corner... only 22 bhp though which is turd. Would expect 30 bhp at least. Would have bought the hps 300 if it wasnt so gutless

@@ridehead8771 yeah it's just very poor compared to the 300cc competition. The 125 is up there in terms of max bhp. The 300 is terrible in that regard.
I like the look of the flat track. My main issue is the price. At just shy of £4K, it's pricey for a 125.
Nice looking bike interested to know what the lights are like at night .seems like with the high beam you lost a lot of light that's ment to be on the road .keep up the good work.

As for the headlights hmm well how about a centre light for main-beam ? Leaving the low-beam on when on high-beam.
I agree 300cc would be a much better bike for a yearlong commuter. Even at a bit of a higher price.

Hi guys, nice video as always but you called us about the battery before putting this video out and we explained you were fitting the battery wrong. Just a bit misleading for people putting incorrect information out.
We always show our procedure of discoveries, which is why I added the update later...no drama, all good.
LOOKS GREAT just needs more motor for the $$$ which a lil high for a 125cc

Oh, and why couldn't the dipped beam stay on with the main beam? LEDs have low power consumption, so I'm surprised it wasn't possible.
Regarding looks, the only reservation I have is the engine looks too upright. It would have looked better chanted forwards. But, if using a proprietary engine, I don't suppose there's much they could have done about it.

I really do think the new three 125s there launching could be game changers in spec, quality and price.

I just found the Rieju Century on some random video, then found the red, flat bar version, thought it looked fantastic. Presume they come out of the same factory as Mondail?
Power on the mondial hps 125 is now 10.8 kw for the 2020 model? Online seems to hint this but it's not clear. Perhaps it's just a typo...?

Hi there I really really need your help. Do you know what the swing arm pivot bolt dimensions are? Mine has broken and I can't find a spare anywhere I really need one but parts are so hard to find. What other swing arm bolt can i use???
Mine was delivered on Monday, had a little night ride on Tuesday. The lights are definitely a concern, both very narrow beams and the dipped lights definitely need to stay on with the high beam. Absolutely no issues with the speed reading on the dash though.

I've just ordered a 2022 flat track. Has the problem with Speedo been sorted by Mondial?
These are over priced for what they are!! The metal is poor quality and rusts super fast ..the exhausts out on the down pipe as not stainless, Zontes 125 is a much better built bike and much more innovation goes into them, CFMoto, Zontes and benelli are the only Chinese bikes that will do you proud really the keeway rkf is not to bad if you take good care of it and don't put it away wet ect.
This is not because i hate Chinese bikes! I have owned them and have one now, But there not all created equally, Don't buy one just for looks ...really do your research and get a good one, If your after a 125cc give the Zontes a real consideration??

Would the seat on the flattrack fit the HPS? Im after turning my hps more cafe racer and want to cover up or get rid of the passenger part of the seat

The rectangular dash doesn’t work with the style of the bike the round dash does 100%
The older version looks more classic old fashioned this new one looks nice but kinda mixed styles.
Was there an issue with the new Speedo it kept changing from 40mph to 20 something? unless you were changing it to kmph lol

Hi, was an issue with the speedo drive...we fixed it.
Had the same issue with my hps speedo.
Replaced the battery and problem solved!
They should bring out a 75cc big bore kit or maybe a Chinese barrel kit on of ebay would be worth the money

What would be nice to hear it without the baffles in,there’s got to be a way for the licence plate don’t like the rear guards,wonder what it’ll look like with a off road mudguard on the front.and finally is there a way to take of screen some chavvy scum bags will try and rob the screen would love to see you green lane this bike cheers guys

I take it you are a Chinese bike lover. The exhaust is riveted. Omg. Cheap cheap cheap. And what's with the speedo. Flickering between 23 and 45.. hmmm...
I am a bike lover who appreciates just how far Chinese bikes have come in such a short time in comparison to other manufacturers who have had so many years to perfect.
@@motorsforthemasses but they haven't. Yeah they look amazing. But when you get up close.. you can see the poor quality. Most Chinese products are reverse engineered copies. Don't get me wrong.. as I said.. They look great. I've fallen for the zontes t312 and the bullit motorcycles
China is heading for world domination,so why should anyone help them by buying their cheap crap? I have been biking for over 50 yrs and I wouldn`t be seen dead on one of these.I still have some pride in my country,although sometimes I don`t know why.
