cornflakes are a legit breading option, sometimes for its gluten free properties, or just for a better crunch

Name brand Cornflakes and Rice Krispies are not gluten free though, they have barley in them.

I know that this is probably already obvious but Natalie is SO SO good at this stuff like every cake turns out better than the last and the effort and time put into each cake is so spectacular like Natalie deserves an award for this!
Sometimes I think I forget how frickin good she is, and then I watch other cake channels (who are admittedly also great, in their own ways!!) And watch them struggle with or not even attempt some of the details Natalie makes look so easy. Hyper-realistic is definitely a thing of its own.

You should do a cast iron pan cake or a picture frame cake. If you did a picture frame cake you could try hanging it up like the cow skull cake you did. Just some ideas 🐮🍳🖼️

Getting things from others for birthdays is overrated. The thing to do to mark your aging is to make sure you're learning and improving as a person over time. So pick some random thing to learn to do on your birthday, like a new piece for an instrument you play, or the answer to some scientific question you've always had but never taken the time to research. As long as you're learning new things every year, they're years well spent.

I love how each segment is a cake and (with the exception of the pickles) looks realistic all the way around. Like a person could pick up this cake and not tell that it wasn't a sandwich!

6:51 Holy crap that looks like a legit raw nicely trimmed chicken breast. She literally did everything she would have needed to make this in real life only it was cooked first.. she eveb dredged it with a little water on her brush to help get the flakes on.

To keep your cakes from melting, order some custom cardboard boxes with a compartment on the top (or make your own)… Then stick dry ice up there and it will keep the cake cold even in a hot car (the hotter it is the more the dry ice will sublimate and cool the cake).

Before you added the sauce, I though the cornflakes look like a cornflake breading, which was one of my favorite ways to eat chicken as a kid.
And, OMG! Your cakes are just so good, I don't know how you cut your beautiful cakes after you just made them, I would hang them up on my wall and keep them forever! Your cakes are so realistic, if you hadn't said that was a cake I would have believed that it was a chicken sandwich! I really hope you consider my idea of making a squishmallow cake.😊

I really likes this cake because in a lot of your cakes the cut is kind of hard because of all the small peaces, but this cut was really smooth.

You know what though,.when it fell over after you cut it us spot on too. I've never had a Buffalo chicken sandwich that has not fallen apart and made a big mess. Thank you for sharing this. You could tell me how you did all of this and just showed the finished product and I would have been impressed. But actually seeing you mix green red and yellow to make pickle green was the part I appreciate the most. ❤❤

I love that you show every step of your process. I'm never wondering, where did that come from, or what I think that's interesting, I want to see more of this. Some of my favorite baking shows used to be at least an hour long, but they're now closer to 45 minutes, and they'll have maybge 20 minutes of actuall baking, and then the rest is judging and reactions.

The ranch looks more like melted Swiss cheese. Which is not a bad thing. This sandwich definitely reminded me of the chicken sandwich from Popeyes with how big it was..... Now I want Popeyes
The ranch I feel was just a little too transparent, I think a bit of white food coloring would have made it perfect. That said, it all looked good enough to make me crave a buffalo chicken sandwich, so good job! 😂
