Just inject as much of yourself into your videos as you can. Be authentic and once I feel I’ve gotten to know you a bit I’m way more likely to click on any video, regardless of what the topic is. You’ve got your own unique perspective with what you do, who you play with, what you play, etc. I might have come for the gear videos (you sold me on a Rise 2 and I love it) but I’m going to stick around for you, the individual.

If you haven't already, check out Samurai Guitarist and Adam Neely. They cover a range of musical subjects and I find them interesting. Mary Spender is great at presenting things like "behind the scenes" of the music business and fun, little personal challenges. I'm not saying that you should do more of what they do but might find inspiration and ideas. Maybe you can do vids together with others CZcamsrs. I feel that no matter what you do you'll do it your way and that may be more important than anything else.Your personality and perspective come through as well as your sincerity and I've enjoyed everything I watched here. The whole gear tube thing is kinda old news in my opinion. If you get yourself into too much of a niche it won’t last.
