Hello! Got an answer from the US, it works great in direct sun and light, so I'm assuming in bright snow as well. I will have to say it's low light visual has alot to be desired. You can hit the light button if the accelerometer does not turn it on automatically when you twist your wrist but at times that's annoying a bit. Stay Tubed or SUB, I soon will be doing a *Gulp* Torture Test on the GSHOCK GR8900A. It will get frozen in ICE then I will put it in the HOT TUB to melt, to test extremes.
