- I'm so thankful for all the fantastic comments on my last video even tho a long time has passed here's another jazzy cover from me, I have a lot of undone svps lying around so Imma probably gonna finish them and post but then again no promises cuz school exists. Please tell me if u like how I used Asterian here! He's a pretty nice vb but I wish he had a BIT higher range cuz he barely reaches the normal male singing range without sounding strained but he has no problems in general. I'm very happy about how Natalie's part ended up sounding! also feel free to give me requests on these old jazzy songs and if you wanna see me use a different voice maybe id be happy to listen to all of your suggestions!
original by Ella & Louis ofc and I've altered one of their album covers and added some of my own little things. And gave em some last names too just for fun.

Now THAT is how you use Asterian :) I feel like I've heard a lot of covers where Asterian is being used at like the UPPER most end of his range
The second I saw 3 usages of Asterian I could not bare but try doing him justice in my cover. None of the genres or ranges he's used in are good imo so I've done this to bring myself to peace. Thank you for the compliment though!
Vocaloid producers in general tend to heavily favor ridiculously high pitched vocals for some reason.
ive been a vocaloid/utaloid fan since 7th grade...i am now 25. i turned away for 2 seconds and now we have synthv and NT.....i heard one synthv song and was legit scared lmaoooo like i was blown away. but now that ive gotten into discovering more covers and songs...this. THIS COVER. im literally trying not to cry as i write this. im speechless. absolutely blown away. i had to look up the original song because for the first time ever i thought this was two real people singing. im so emotional..........thank you from the bottom of my heart thank you for this masterpiece. i feel like an old person knowing how far things like vocaloid have come. thank you.❤
You have no idea how happy reading this makes me! Im so happy you love this cover this is the exact reason i do this. Vocal synths have come so far i agree (not counting NT and vocaloid6 💀), and synth v is by far in the forefront
what a sweet duo their voices really complement each other 🥹 and the realism in tuning really gives me goosebumps to know that this is a vocal synthesizer

Commenting again for the algorithm, God I love how Asterian sounds here. People always use his upper register and sometimes it's grating to listen to. This cover uses his lower range so well, and Natalie's just so lovely to listen to as well. So soothing. I'd play this in my cafe if I had one
YES! Simply listening to some of the covers made with Asterian motivated me to make this. His ranges is VERY limited but when you take advantage of that barely 15 note wide range u can really make him sound heavenly! As for Natalie i just LOVE using her ( next cover will probably be "After You've Gone" by Ella sung by Natalie). Again, thank you so much for these wonderful compliments!

Thank you! Yes, tetos sv release gave synth v a lot of attention. Personally i think her voicebank is really underdeveloped and seemed like a basic port instead of actually recording another voicebank but what can i do! Im glad that my cover was another thing that introduced you to this groundbreaking software (and i really hope they either immensely fix the new update or cancel it completely)
It fucking irritates me that covers such as this, the most realistic shit possible isn't getting enough attention. Meanwhile, bigger producers fart an " original " song and use a complete abomination of a Vocaloid / Utauloid or a VSynth and they are praised as Gods.

To be fair, the appeal of those voicebanks isn’t neccesarily how realistic they are, the roboticness is sometimes why people love them.
For example, i recently fell in love with the defoko/uta utane voicebank-
I think its a matter of taste wether you want the voicebank to be realistic or not

@@tikimillie i see the appeal for voicebanks like for example Miku, Uta or Teto cv and onwards. Their voices are unique in a way that no voice actor could replicate it (their voices ware modified in the production of the voicebank; uta is completely artificialy made) and have the obvious robotic tinge to it, and i totally understand the appeal even I myself enjoy it, but then theres voices like Dex, Diana, Cyber Diva, Big Al (v2) that are just objectively bad. Generic, bland, flat, utterly unclear pronunciation and the voice seems to be rendered by an oven yet for some reason unclear to me so many producers use these vocaloids. I bet nobody would understand a word they said if the music videos didn’t have captions.

There's a script for growling by HPsynthv on youtube, but I also manually made him growl by messing with the vocal modes and the fact that he already sings in the bass range makes him sound growly already :)
