I understand that a lot. My dad was addicted to drugs. I had to watch him every day from since I was 7 until I was 16 abuse drugs. He was be so messed up he would fall on the floor. He got so caught up in his addiction that I was like he didn't care about his family. He would leave me home alone so he could go out with the drug friends. Or he would steal money from me or my mom to feed his addiction. I had to watch this everyday. See my dad messed up and feel like he didn't even love me. It hurts and it still does. All I wanted is a father that loved me but that was too much to ask for. He made me feel like all men were the same. He made me hate men and lose trust in them. I feel broken and I still am. I learned love only leads to pain and suffering. My dad died when I was 16. All the drugs shut is liver down. My mom always works. She was always working but she had to work to pay the bills because he wouldn't help her. My mom can be a very ill person so it lead to them arguing with each other and I had to watch. She would get ill with me to sometimes. Sometimes I feel like it was to much stress on her working all the time, taking care of me , and dealing with my dad. It was too much. The only thing my dad was good for was cooking. Once he was gone I had to take to start doing the cooking. Because my mom can't cook. So I told myself I would never love because it leads to misery.
This video has my crying because all these memories of my childhood coming back. But I still love this video. Thank you for making this video.
