COVEN is a new epic skin for Nilah that will be released in October 2023. This epic LOL skin features a brand new set of visual effects for Nilah, as well as a total makeover of her looks.
Coven Nilah costs 1350 RP, and can be purchased from the League of Legends store.

It’s an odd skin. The splash doesn’t quite fit either (though it is cool). Lunar Eclipse Nilah is better but that’s only LOR. The story is cool how she went from coven to lunar eclipse but this skin is definitely a bit weird/odd.

Yeah. Though it would be amazing if they managed to pull this off well. Perhaps her color scheme should've been more darkish blue, similar to the blue in Lunar Eclipse, but more darker and evil. But this, they tried to make her too evil that she looks way off
personally disagree with Lunar Eclipse, they did a good job tying the skins together,but the headpiece she has in the skin is kind of an eyesore compared to the other eclipse skins

re: the flower petals - her bio for Coven mentions that her power called to her from the brambles and thorns, definitely not obvious but it does tie into that.
Good to know! I am still a bit confused with why they'd include flowery themes into a skinline like Coven but I'm not the lead designer so it's not up to me to decide lol

im pretty sure nilah betrayed coven being why she's so visually differente from other coven skins, at least thats how the lore is in runeterra i believe, she betrays coven to become part of the lunar ecplise

Gives more Blood moon than Coven
If they didn't named that skin "Coven" I wouldn't have thought it was part of the Coven line. That is how much the skin looks and feels off. Just by the splash art I would have though it was more like Taric's "Bloodstone" or even "Blood Moon"

Not gonna lie this second batch of coven skin doesnt scream or say anything “coven” at all at least in my opinion. Aside from nami, all the others are just lackluster and just looks like cheap and recolored. Im just utterly dissapointed cus the previous batch was really good. Ahri, eve, camille, etc. their coven skins literally makes them feel out of the world ifbyou get what i mean. The second one really is just entirely different, they didnt even try to go for a completely different approach on how they would design the clothes for nilah. They just redesigned her normal clothes and turnedbit red like wtf. Camille’s Coven feels like an entirely different character even eve’s, its insane how bad the quality has gotten…

I feel sorry for Nilah, it seems like Riot couldn't find a skin theme that suits her, so her skins always seem a little off
brother, nobody apart from Nami and Illaoi fits better this theme, like she uses WATER PRIME DEMON like the old gods that this coven is also a deep water god.

There are some things I didn't like about Coven Nilah
First why is she red if red was for Legendary Coven skins?
Why her skin tone isn't white pale like the other Coven skins?
And her Q+E seems pretty much like Coven Morgana Q

you´re being quite generous, this is by far one of the worst skins in the entire game, she doesn´t fit the skinline at all, the colors are of, the face in splash does´nt match the ingame model, the spells are off, in general this batch was mediocre, for coven you would expect wicked witches, instead we got halloween costumes, dissaponting really also nilah got a eclipe skin en lor how does this work than?
